Location 10/10, a stones throw away from Vatican City, everything in walking distance. Staff are super friendly, especially the housekeeping. One housekeeper in particular, really put in the extra effort when she noticed how warm my room was, she gives the hotel 5 stars on her own. Sorry I didn’t get your name! Great terrace view of St. Peter’s dome. Loads of local restaurants and shops. Very comfortable 7 night stay!

Every block, looks the same in their area, I kept getting lost. My fault though! Only flaw, the air conditioning in my room leaked when it was turned on, and for a long time after it was turned off. Reception gave me a tower fan, which really helped. I had to keep a towel under the drip to dampen the noise. I was kept cool by that fan at night anyway, especially as I visited during 38deg heatwave. Again, 5 stars to the housekeeper who was so concerned! In my book, very small issue.

Since my trip revolved around Vatican City, the location couldn't have been better. A 10-minute walk to get you through the Porta Pia and you're in. The breakfast was great and its hours convenient. The front desk staff was extremely helpful and the room staff very professional. The rooftop has a view of St. Peter's, plants, shade and sun, a nice place t just sit. Nice city scape.

Personally, I like old style European hotels with small elevators and real keys. If you don't, you might not find it to your liking.

The hotel location is great.10 minutes to the metro station Lepanto. There are many busses as well, using Google maps was useful for this purpose. The area is very safe and only 3 minutes to the nearest supermarket opposite the hotel. Nice restaurant are 10 minutes away and in 10 minutes you are as well in the Vatican city. Room, housekeeping, reception was very good. The breakfast is really great:pancakes, scrambled eggs, fruits, ham, cheese, cakes. Our stay was very enjoyable, so we will come again when visiting Rome.

Staying at this hotel for third time as it is associated very warm memories. Fancy and cute hotel in my favorite district of Roma. Very pleasant boy at the reception will greet you and recommend some good restaurant with Roman cuisine and most delicious gelataria if you wish.

Ten years ago it was really a masterpiece. The management of the hotel should think over how to renovate this marvelous place. And please do something with breakfast as it is horrible - rotten ham and lack of choice.

I liked that it was clean and confortable. I liked the breakfast they had variety of breakfast foods. Also, they have luggage storage which was great because we were leaving late. Checkout is at 12 which allowed us to.do a tour in the morning and come back without rushing. Its very close to the Vatican museums and st. Peters Basilica.

I didn't like that the other attractions like the colosseum was a bit further away but still reachable within 20 mins in taxi or bus.

The location is very close to Vatican, so implicitly close to sightseeings like Piazza Navona, Pantheon, Trevi Fontana and Spanish steps. All is in walking distance. Little fridge and kettle is a certain plus. We had a clean room and it's been cleaned everyday during our vacation. The breakfast is a classic adequate Italian breakfast full with pastries like croissant and cakes and sweets and of course coffee. We enjoyed our hotel and room. I would stay there again.

The only problem we had was the flush tank in our bathroom. Once you flush the water and tank gets empty, it was really taking a long time for it to get full again and the other person really needs to wait to use the toilet. While checking out, we informed the reception desk about the problem, I hope they solve it.

Beautiful Palacete-hotel, with all the comfort and excellent breakfast, their kind staff, awlays helpul with respect and amability!!!.Always with the desire to satisfy you about the city, car reservations to the airport!! I stayed in 5 and 4 stars hotels in my whole life but this hotel Arcangelo is one of the best hotels I ever stayed and I sureñy will return to it! I thank all the staff for all! Merci beaucoup! It has an old world charm. Like a movie set . The best about it was the choice of music at breakfast. Old style music. None of the spotify generations generated empty music. The staff are wonderful.

It was a bit delapidated. The toilet brush was so old it broke. And the button to the aircon was so old I had to use a towel to get a grip on it and use a lot of strain to turn it. It is also noisy cause they are building outside. But its Rome what do you expect? All in all I loved it.

We were delayed in Rome because of the air traffic issues and had to find somewhere to stay in a hurry. To be honest we would have been grateful for almost anything but this hotel was amazing. A real find in the heart of Rome. The hotel is quirky in its decoration - a boutique hotel I guess you would call it. The rooms were clean and the roof terrace with views of St Peter's Basilica was a delight. There are some decent restaurants not five minutes walk away and a short walk to the Vatican and the Metro opening up the whole city to you. The booking price online is very competitive and the staff very friendly. If we choose Rome again we would definitely choose to stay here. The breakfast was also very good with a hot and cold selection.

Great location close to the Vatican and Castello and to shops, supermarket and cafes but in a quiet street. Great breakfast, lovely clean room with nice bathroom and a fabulous terrace. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Air conditioner was a bit hard to control but minor issue reported to front desk.
