The property was easy to find and quiet considering it was joined to a pub! The rooms were large and not too expensive considering how close I booked to arriving! Just a short walk into town if you missed the serving times for food, which we did. TV has all the main channels on and the bathroom is lovely too, as well as the complimentary breakfast having necessities to set you up for the day. All round a lovely stay.

There was no WiFi in the rooms and no signal so was disconnected the entire evening, which is far from ideal when staying away from family. The food serving times were short and didn’t stay open as late as you’d imagine, which then meant we had to walk into town to get food (which after a long day travelling isn’t ideal!) This is advertised, however.

This place is such a gem. I only stayed for one night, but it had exactly what l needed. The room was extra clean and spacious, the bed was super comfortable, there was plenty of pillows, lovely warm quilt, two chairs, a table, a tv, different lights/lamps, and good heating - with an extra heater provided as well, which was really great for the winter! There is a fridge and a microwave available along with a kettle and a toaster, which I thought was really convenient for someone who only had time for a quick meal / snack without the need to actually cook anything, or time to go out to eat. Plates, cutlery, glasses and mugs were provided too, on top of a lovely selection of little jams, honey, marmite, cereal, cookies and coffees. What I did not expect, was that there was also food in the fridge - toasts, yoghurt, milk, butter and juice. This was such a lovely touch, and just shows you how much effort and thoughtfulness was put into making sure that the guests are looked after during the stay. This might as well had been just a lovely room and a clean bathroom, with no extra effort and touch. But it wasn’t and I really appreciate it. The bathroom had a powerful shower, sink, two large mirrors, towel heater and a useful shelf for the cosmetics. Everything worked absolutely fine, there was plenty of lights and signs outside to find a place and if you still manage to get lost (as some of us do), then there is a local fish bar not far from there with great food and helpful directions. Best thing for me was how much effort was put into my stay. Not just a clean en-suite bedroom. The communication with the host from the moment of booking, texting directions, leaving all information and signs inside the place about the fire alarm, WiFi access, facilities and restaurants menu, going above and beyond to make sure that everything is ready for you to enjoy the stay and then checking on after you leave to make sure everything was fine.

Nice place, but a bit dated. Good value for money and right in the town. The food was very good and the facilities in the room were excellent, just a little dated. Unfortunately it was in a very cold snap, and although additional heaters were supplied, it did make maintaining the room temperature at a comfortable level tricky. The booking in process wasn't straightforward for me, but worked OK for my friend. The bar is nice, but there were a number of menu options and drinks not available. I would definitely stay there again.

The staff, the location ,the comfort, the size of the room, the amount of diy breakfast you get. How the cleaning staff looked after our room, clean luxury towels for a 3 star hotel, scoring 8 + there was little wrong. 10 out of ten for letting dogs stay, and how much everyone are animal lovers. Friendliness get 11 from ten ,everyone where so friendly, and went out of there way to make our stay as good as they could . The pub part and dining room is wonderful, very historic low ceilings with a foot square beams a massive fireplace is the centre piece of the dining room. The building is the second oldest building in watton so we got told,or was it the area not watton . It's been a long four days. There is a hugh amount of outside seating at the front which is very well presented The tables on the raised grassed area must seat at least 8, some of this area is under cover and more improvement where being made .a Muriel was being painted on the back wall. The car park is at the front enough room for around 10 may be 12 cars . This place rates high for a 3 star hotel and there are a few little dislike but if you want to visit the area this is a very good place to stay if your budget allows . The cost of the stay was reasonable in these times of high prices and cost of living price increases. One thing I must say is how well the communication was prior to our arrival . We was kept up to date with everything as our questions where answered quickly The Town of watton has many independent shops and the high street has a varied selection of coffee shops cafes pubs clothes and produce. Failing that there is a Tesco at the main crossroads especially for that last minute item you forgot , as you where so busy looking in everyshop and taking to the extremely friendly residents of watton as you walked up the high street

Some of the night sensor light where not working making the path hard to walk down The wardrobe needed attention as it was very damp.a bit of bleach on the walls at the bottom near the skirting and then drying out a bit of paint is needed. But its getting near the end of the season. Burnt bacon sorry scott but the first morning I could use it for shoe leather. The cooked breakfast was excellent other than that. Great coffee though . The car park is also a bit dark with no lighting and the over hanging trees will get you a need to go to the car wash. Ok you may leave it till you get home but I bet your other halve will make you get than jet wash out.lol lol. Please dont be put off by the things we/ my mrs didnt like. This was lovely. Key safe for key meant no queuing at reception after a long drive. Room with kettle, toaster, fridge, microwave and all the makings for breakfast including plates and cutlery. A cooling unit in room meant I slept well on hottest day of the year. Tables outside so I could enjoy warmth. Didn’t go into pub/restaurant but looked very nice and food looked good Checkout easy, just replaced key in key safe. Would recommend and would 100% stay again

Bed was very comfortable and the room was clean and spacious. Bathroom was clean and toiletries provided. Hair dryer was provided too. Breakfast was provided free of charge in the room. Which included cereals, bread for toaster, jams, honey, marmalade, butter, yoghurt, alpen, orange juice, milk, tea, coffee and hot chocolate. An option for cooked breakfast was available for £10 but we didn't feel we needed this. Staff were very friendly. Great location in the high street with a few pubs and shops. Would definitely recommend!

Can't complain about anything.

Location was excellent for our purposes + easy walk to town. Quiet, clean and spacious room, Really liked microwave, toaster, and the little fridge provided together with light breakfast (real)milk,bread and butter, fruit juice,cereals and spreads + ample beverages. Staff were friendly and helpful

The only negative things were a) the shower hose which was leaking badly and b) the room Exit sign over the door which was very bright overnight. I realise it's a safety measure but found it intrusive enough to keep me awake.

Well-organised: good check-in instructions (keysafe code sent by text with directions) and lots of useful stuff (fridge, microwave, toaster, kettle), plus breakfast materials, in room for people who still want reduced contact; bar and restaurant also open and cooked breakfast available for people who don't. Good location for me as I was walking on the Peddars Way trail and it doesn't pass by or go through very many places but Willow House is quite close. Big Tesco nearby for supplies too. Would probably also work well for work-based stays, as easy to come and go at any time of day.

Nothing. I was initially a bit confused by "DIY breakfast" but it worked really well. Don't be put off by that.

Fantastic size room. Staff were so helpful and friendly. Food was gorgeous.

More of constructive feedback... Mattress king size but one of the sides had gone. So 6 inches were lost and it felt like you were falling out of bed on one side. Paintwork needs touching up. Cleaner needs to dust in the corners. It was great having breakfast in the room, but there was nowhere to sit. There were two chairs but no table. With that size room you could fit a little table for two in.

I have stayed in this hotel few times and the room and all staff is very friendly and goes above and beyond to help. The food is out of this world. This time I decided to have hot breakfast and now I regret if that I didn’t do it on my previous stays. The gentleman that served me breakfast was so polite and genuinely friendly. I would definitely come back here again.

The mattress is a bit hard but that’s my personal preference. The only minus I would say is the constant noise in the room (like some kind of water system) I did notice two blue barrels on the roof so maybe the noise comes from them.
