This was our first visit and Andrew made us feel welcome straight away. It was their home but he wanted us to use the TV lounge, patio, loft lounge and even the fridge and wine glasses, should we choose to do so! Our room was very clean and fresh (Venice Suite) also large and comfortable. The breakfast room was spotless, laid with white table cloths and looked very inviting! The breakfast was up there with the best ~ cooked fresh in view of his guests. Andrew was very accommodating as we needed an early breakfast and would be returning late in the evening ~ nothing was too much trouble. Superb stay, will definitely be returning!

If I’m being picky there were a few cracked tiles in our bathroom, and on the website it shows a lovely Sauna and home gym which we didn’t see (but on this stay we probably didn’t have time to use anyway)!

Everything was very clean, tidy and well presented. Andrew made sure we knew where everything was and was an affable host. He politely introduced us to everyone else if we were having breakfast together and was readily available if we needed to ask anything. The breakfasts were very good, with plenty of fresh fruit, really good local sausages and beautifully cooked in front of us as we chatted. The shower was easy to use and always hot, the bed was comfy and the room we had (with King size bed) was spacious. There was a lounge available to use, on the top floor, with views over the fields. Just down the road is the Nags Head, which is to be recommended for an evening meal, but have a torch with you as East Harling has minimal street lighting.

The flooring seemed to lack insulation as we were woken by both the movement and conversation of the people in the room above us. The shower drained rather slowly.

Our room was airy, a good size with a good sized en suite. Plenty of space to put clothes, pleasant views. Location in the village was a short walk from a Co op & pub for dinner or a short drive from other eateries. The host Andrew was very friendly & knowledgeable & the breakfast menu more than adequate. Not overcrowded with too many guests which made for a friendly environment for conversation in the morning. All round excellence, well done, keep it up.

There really wasn't anything to find fault with.

Quiet rural retreat with a lovely room overlooking the countryside. It had a luxurious feel to it and the host Andrew went out of his way make you feel at home. Lovely, hearty Breakfast options at a time that suited us in the morning. Close to local attractions and Snetterton which we visited for British Superbikes.

The village was virtually closed on a Sunday with only the local Co Op open until 10pm. We could not get anything to eat and did not want to travel far for this. The Chinese closed as soon as we got there.

Lovely large room and bed -Monaco suite. Excellent breakfast. Beautiful views. Good linen etc. Friendly host. Lot of outside area to enjoy. Clean and tastefully decorated.

Had to take off shoes at front door then walk up slippery stairs in socks. It was wooden floor to our room so could go to bedroom door in shoes. Not a huge problem but would take indoor shoes next time. It did mean carpets were clean! Lots of stairs so not so good if not mobile but there is a disabled annex.

The host was very nice - Andrew, the room was large and the beds were comfortable, the shower was a double shower and the room was large, tea and coffee were provided with border biscuits. Dinner i walked to the Nags head which served lovely food as well, I would definitely stay there again. Breakfast he made me a mushroom and cheese omelette, there was mixed fresh fruit and yoghurts and cereals as well, toast came with my omelette and marmalades and jams in little pots. Wonderful stay.

Everything was good, there was a garden you could sit in and nothing i didn't like at all.

Greeted warmly and given a great tour of the facilities and the bedroom. Room was spacious and comfortable. Tea and coffee supplies in the room. Breakfast was very tasty and accommodated our earlier start. Great location especially if you are going to Snetterton Race Circuit as we were!

Minor niggle that bacon was smoked at breakfast which was not to our personal taste but this was all we could think of really!!

We received a friendly welcome and was made to feel at home. We were given a tour of the house, the rooms were spacious, comfy and homely and breakfast was lovely. Due to our circumstances of staying at sunset house, Andrew went above and beyond to cater to our needs and nothing was too much trouble. We will definitely stay again should we be visiting the area again.

Lovely little B&B in the heart of Norfolk. Andrew was brilliant and made sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed (he even loaned me a toothpaste when I forgot it!). Breakfast was delicious, we had a choice between cooked and continental, and both were tasty and filling! Loved our stay in the quiet pretty village of East Harling and recommend it as a great base for exploring Norfolk/Suffolk.

Rooms can get hot and stuffy, but this was quickly fixed by opening the windows.

The owner Andrew is a lovely pleasant guy,very helpful & makes wonderful breakfasts. It is a lovely quiet area to stay, but not far from anywhere, so a good central place to be able to go to Thetford forest for walks, Oxborough hall, Cromer, Kings Lynn, Norwich, Dearham,Swaffham, Diss, Watton etc. So lots to look at & do, so will look forward to going back & staying again.
