I had the most unforgettable experience at The Elms, thanks to Julia’s extraordinary generosity and care. I found myself stranded in the middle of nowhere after arriving for a course, unsure of how to get to my accommodation. Julia didn’t just offer help; she went out of her way to personally pick me up, making sure I felt safe and welcomed from the moment we met. Her kindness didn’t stop there. The next morning, she dropped me off at my course venue and even offered to take me to the train station afterward, all purely out of goodwill. I’ve never encountered such a thoughtful and selfless host. Julia’s warmth and hospitality turned a stressful situation into a deeply comforting one. If you’re looking for a place where you’ll be treated like family, The Elms is it. Thank you, Julia, you’re a gem of a human being.

Julia was warm, welcoming and attentive. She provided a cup of tea and some excellent apple cake on arrival. The room was clean and comfortable and the bed was good. The shower was powerful with plenty of hot water and the facilities perfectly suitable although small. Breakfast the following morning was exactly on time and exactly as requested, the cooked breakfast was delicious and the home-made whiskey marmalade Deserves special mention!

The bath towels were a bit rough and one smelt a little as if it hadn’t been dried quite quickly enough. But this is a very minor comment in an overall excellent experience.

Julia and Alan were great hosts absolutely amazing to speak to, I've already left another review on Google but this place was absolutely wonderful the hosts were amazing to speak with and were incredibly down to earth. The breakfast, drinks and everything else served tasted amazing and was prepared in great time with plenty options. The beds were incredibly comfy well made and the view from the rooms were brilliant. The area surrounding The Elms was very nice and friendly too. Julia and Alan's stay definitely helped me to relax and prepare for that and due to that I've passed my test for the raf. This was a great place to stay and I'd definitely come again

Nothing could have been better it's definitely a 10/10 place no faults.

Very nice single room in large house on the outskirts of town, but within easy walking distance of shops and pubs. Very friendly, chatty owner. Clean, comfortable, good wifi, reasonably priced, with breakfast included.

Only problem was when I arrived, ringing the door bell produced no effect. However, eventually I went to the left side of the building, which caused the dog to start barking and the owner came to the door. Otherwise, no complaints.

Project location for a quick trip to Snetterton circuit (10 mins). The road passing the house is very quiet at night and rooms have triple glazing. Nothing is stopping a good night's sleep. The nearby town is only a few minutes on foot and offers a Pub, Restaurants and convenience shop. Every room has a TV, but a residents lounge can also be enjoyed. You are greeted with coffee and cake which is welcomed after a long drive. Owners are very personable, friendly and accommodation. Breakfast from 7am, perfect to make it to the track in good time.

Lighting in the room could be warmer. Bulbs are cold and bright, not good for reading in the evening. Feels more like a bathroom or hall.

The location is right on the edge of the village and within easy 10 minute walk of the Gastro pub for eating and the local shops. The Breakfast was lovely with locally produced food for the Full English fry up. The owners were lovely and on arrival made me a pot of tea and a piece of home made apple cake which was delicious.

The rooms was a bit warm for my liking and i could not turn down the radiator. Other than this no issues.

Great place to stay. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Breakfast was lovely. Alan and Julie are great hosts and go out of their way to look after you. I stayed there to visit The English Distillery. Alan actually drove me there. 0.3 miles into the village which has 2 pubs.

East Harling is a nightmare for taxi availability (almost non existing) 😆

Great place to stay with lovely chatty hosts and a welcome change from uninspiring soul-less chain hotels. The full English Breakfast using local produce was also a fantastic start to the day. I really didn't need to eat for the rest of the day.

I'm a bit fussy about my mattresses due to hip arthritis and I had trouble sleeping on this one. There was also quite a lot of noise from neighbouring rooms TVs and peoples talking due to the walls not having much soundproofing,

Location is ideally situated within a few minutes walk of the village The proprietors are very friendly and nothing was too much trouble Excellent breakfast and a lovely greeting with tea and cake plenty of room for parking

The electric shower was inconsistent as far as temperature goes and no soap bar, shower gel or shampoo was supplied Shower towel could have been bigger and softer

Lovely clean and welcoming hosts were very pleasant and we had a common interest so made the stay enjoyable breakfast looked nice although I'm not a breakfast person but was offered loads of alternatives will certainly recommend for any stays near snetterton raceway

Telly did not work when tried at ten PM bit late to see if I'd not done the operation right but wasn't an issue
