The room was really comfortable though very warm. The food was very nice - good pub fayre. Good portions and freshly cooked. Good selection of beers and ales. Particularly liked the bottle of cold water for the room - it was much appreciated after a long drive.

We were in one of the older rooms which only had single glazing so we did hear some traffic noise, something were not used to. There didn't appear to have much sound proofing so noise from neighbouring rooms and the pub downstairs was audible but it didn't disturb us unduly.

Our room wasn’t huge, but plenty big enough for the two of us. Nice decor, comfortable bed, spotlessly clean. Tea and coffee provided. Breakfast was very nice, made to order, with cereal and toast to help yourself to. Weekend breakfast was served slightly later, no getting up with the lark. We stayed two nights, ate here the first night, really liked the food, would have eaten here on the second night (but it was a Sunday and food finished at 3pm). Nice bar area and plenty of outdoor seating. Felt welcome.

Cereal choices could be better ? Maybe cornflakes weetabix and rice crispies could be added to bran flakes coco pops and shreddies the toaster only toasts one side of the bread ? Also bread could be kept on a tray with a cover on instead of in the bag where everyone has to put their hand into not very hygienic? In my opinion.

Breakfast was very good apart from the oil filled hash browns. Very minor picky point.

We were delighted with our 3 night stay with our 2 small dogs. We enjoyed a cozy, spotless, silent room with all we could need, loved the Odyssey products too. The service from friendly staff was perfect and food was delicious, nothing to complain about. Breakfasts cooked to order, evening meals, Sunday lunch, best ever ginger pudding, all yummy! Thankyou to the whole team, we wouldn't hesitate to stay again, if in North Suffolk.

The Bell Inn was a lovely little hotel. Our room was very comfortable and well appointed with very adequate amenities provided. Ample car parking space. The staff were very helpful. We ate in the restaurant in the evening, a very nicely prepared meal at a very reasonable price, and breakfasted at the hotel before leaving for home. We would unreservedly recommend The Bell Inn. The purpose of our visit was to visit The Bressingham Steam Museum and Gardens. The hotel is a short drive to the attraction.

After a long and stressful drive from Kent to Norfolk and visiting the Bressingham Steam Museum we needed to take a short nap before our evening meal. Unfortunately the 'peace' was disturbed a by a loud and lengthy conversation from the hotel kitchen area sited near to our room.

Exceptional staff - warm welcome, friendly and accommodating. Excellent breakfast - delicious, tasty and quality ingredients cooked to perfection. Room comfortable with great toiletries and superb, spacious, powerful shower.

Weekend time for breakfast starting was a bit late but they appreciated our situation and kindly accommodated our earlier slot. To have had some biscuits in the room would have been a welcomed touch.

The pub was in a quiet location. The room was clean, tidy and quiet. The bathroom was of a good size. The pub itself was nice to sit and have a drink, with a log fire to keep everyone warm. The meal on the first night was on the reduced menu, which still had plenty of choice. The second night was valentines day and the menu was excellent. The food portions were of a good size and the food well cooked and prepared. Would certainly recommend eating here. The bed gave a good night's sleep. The rooms heating worked well. The breakfast in the morning had a good choice and what we had was good quality. The position of the hotel meant that getting out and about was relatively easy. On our stay we visited Norwich and Bury St Edmunds, with no problems getting about. Plenty of parking in the car park which was away from the main road.

The breakfast was excellent, good choices and superb service. the location was great, set in a lovely village. the food and drink were of a high quality. The management and staff were wonderful, as it was very warm,they supplied a portable air conditioning unit, this was a nice touch and very much appreciated. We had our dog with us, she was well treated,they even have a dog menu. Overall we had a lovely five night stay. Highly recommended.

Hard to find fault, maybe the evening food menu could have a wider range of choices, having said that, the quality of the food was excellent

Quaint and chilled out vibe, great decor, loved the dog facilities and menu even though we didnt have a dog, was lovely to see. Service awesome, shown straight to room which was beautifully decorated. We stayed in the Owl room. Bed super comfy, linen and bedding luxurious, shower and bathroom neat, styled and modern. We had pre booked a dinner reservation which the pub accomdated. Food A**** was delicious! Breakfast in morning was also amazing, great selection and service staff throughout stay was friendly, impeccable. I'd left my coatigan on leaving, which the pub called me and left a voicemail that they would keep my jacket until I returned which was very kind and thoughtful, going the extra mile. All in all, a beautiful find, one we will stay again.
