Absolutely charming property in every single detail. Very special experience, being inside the hotel court you feel like coming back and time, feeling authentic Arabian atmosphere. The breakfast a la carte is very nice. The personnel is just brilliant, people are going out of their way to meet any of your requirements. I was granted with a free transfer twice (I appreciate very much, thank you!). I would also like to thank specifically Mr. Sam, a person in charge of hotel pool, for his exceptional sense of humour and politeness.

It is absolutely not a hotel fault, but the guests should have more clear understanding what is meant by “public Heera beach”. The hotel is arranging free transportation to and from the beach. It is literally lifeless and empty one kilometre of sand without any single sunbed or umbrella. You have no chance to hide from sun anywhere. No changing rooms, no toilets, just sand and sea. When I visited the beach at 11 am on the second day of my stay, I was the ONLY living being there! But I must say, that due to the absence of any activity around the beach, the water is crystal clear, and it was a new experience for me to have a huge beach in my own disposal. Maybe unusual, romantic but still hazardous experience if the weather is too hot.

This hotel was absolutely perfect, from the moment of our arrival when we were offered a complimentary welcome drink, until the moment of our departure, the Chedi al Bait was an elegantly appointed oasis of calm. The service was impeccable. Staff members were unfailingly gracious, helpful and professional. The beautifully presented food of the hotel restaurants was exquisite. We enjoyed the spa, the swimming pool, the library and the lounge. The hotel, which has an interesting on site historical museum, is adjacent to a pleasant waterfront promenade and a traditional souk in a restored heritage area, the Heart of Sharjah.

There was nothing not to like about The Chedi al Bait. We only wished we could have stayed longer. The Chedi al Bait is truly our favourite hotel in all of the Emirates.

We had a truly wonderful stay! Our entire family came together for this trip, and we were absolutely delighted by the experience. From the warm welcome at check-in to the attentive service throughout our stay, everything was done with care and professionalism. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and at home. Every detail — from the rooms to the amenities — was thoughtfully prepared. The service is 2nd to none. The hotel room was so beautiful and absolutely perfect! From Krista and Krystal at reception, to Manisha in the restaurant, as well as Said as transport concierge, everyone was exceptional. On the morning I was leaving, I was even asked what breakfast I would like packed before my departure to the airport as I wasn't going to be able to make breakfast that morning. Everything was beyond perfect. I can't wait to go back!

I recently stayed at The Chedi Al Bait in Sharjah, and it was an exceptional experience. From the moment I arrived, the warm and attentive staff made me feel truly welcome. The hotel's authentic ambiance provided a refreshing contrast to the modern expanses of Dubai and other Emirates. The rooms are tastefully decorated, reflecting the rich Emirati heritage while offering all the modern comforts one would expect from a luxury establishment. The communal areas, including the serene courtyards and inviting lounges, are perfect for relaxation. The culinary offerings are delightful, blending local and international flavors to cater to diverse palates. This stay allowed me to unwind and appreciate the authenticity of Sharjah, away from the hustle and bustle of larger neighboring cities. I highly recommend The Chedi Al Bait to anyone seeking a unique and memorable experience in the United Arab Emirates.

My spouse and I had a lovely stay at this hotel, though there were a few points that need attention. Breakfast (10/10) – Absolutely delicious! The food was varied, fresh, and high-quality. Definitely a highlight of our stay, though it is on the pricey side. Staff and Service (10/10) – The staff were incredibly kind and hospitable. They went the extra mile to ensure we had a pleasant experience. Venue (10/10) – The hotel is stunning, full of character, and beautifully designed. It has a unique charm that really sets it apart from other places. Location (7/10) – Only about a 20-30 minute drive to downtown Dubai. There are restaurants within walking distance, and it’s conveniently located near the water and the heart of Sharjah. Hot Water (2/10) – Unfortunately, the hot water in the showers didn’t last more than 5 minutes, which was very disappointing for a 5-star, expensive hotel. Despite raising the issue, they couldn’t offer a solution. Music (6/10) – The ambient music in the courtyards is nice, but it wasn’t turned off or lowered at night, and the sound carried into our room. We had to call several nights to ask them to lower the volume. A timer for the music would be a great solution to avoid disturbing guests. Beach & Shuttle (7/10) – The hotel offers a shuttle to Herra public beach. However, we encountered issues booking it and missed the pickup due to an incorrectly communicated meeting point. Thankfully, the hotel resolved the situation, but I’d recommend double-checking the details with the front desk when booking. The beach was beautiful and has several restaurants, but it should be noted that it is very male-dominated (unlike other beaches closer to downtown Dubai). If you plan to swim, especially as a woman or a girl, I’d recommend covering up and wearing a full-body suit. Spa (8/10) – The service was excellent, though the prices were quite high.

This is Sharjah's one and only 5* hotel. Located on the corniche and within the Heart of Sharjah Historical District, it's a very special hotel for a break from the busyness of Dubai (it's also 1hr away including the traffic). The staff were outstanding and nothing was ever a problem. The amenities are great and the hotel feels like a resort, could be because it's also a historically preserved building (Al Bait). I also particularly loved the free dates you have in the rooms. Very nice touch. Arabian Teahouse is also just outside the hotel.

We had a wonderful stay at The Chedi Al Bait – truly nothing to complain about. Everything was perfect. The pool area only has 12 loungers, but as the occupancy was very low during our stay, we had it almost entirely to ourselves, which made it incredibly peaceful and relaxing. The room was very spacious with a lovely private patio – a real highlight. I also highly recommend the à la carte breakfast, which was excellent in both quality and service. The location is ideal for walking around and exploring the area. I also recommend a visit to the Sharjah Aquarium, which is nearby. There’s also a beautiful spa on-site, which looks amazing – although we didn’t get the chance to try it this time. We stayed for just one night. Check-in was at 2 PM, but our room was ready by 1 PM, which was a nice touch. Late check-out was offered until 12:30 PM, which we appreciated. Highly recommend for a relaxing and beautifully curated stay.

As for minor downsides, we weren’t able to connect our phones to the TV, which was a bit frustrating. Also, the Asian restaurant’s outdoor setting is stunning, but due to the heat we had to sit indoors, where the atmosphere felt less warm. That said, the food was delicious and reasonably priced. Just a note – as the hotel is located in Sharjah, no alcohol is served, which is good to know in advance.

The property has everything you need. The service is exceptional, the staff like Jesely is very thoughtful and does anything to make your stay extra comfortable. The hotel has three restaurants and one cafe to enjoy from traditional to a variety of dishes for a real culinary experience. The design is very original making you feel that you are in a private village, in an Old Dubai! It has really transported us to a different world. They also have private chef with complementary transport, and use of facilities like swimming pool, and spa (sauna, jacuzzi, and cold bath). We have absolutely loved every single minute at The Chedi and we would recommend everyone to join this experience. We will come back, if it’s not to Dubai to a different Chedi! Thank you 🙏🏽

What a stunning property, beautifully renovated and maintained. You can tell that a lot of effort was put into layouts, material and detail as everything is top notch. The staff is fantastic and made my stay really memorable and I’d like to particularly thank Ms Crystel, Ms Jesly and Mr Yassine for being so attentive, kind and generous! Unfortunately I don’t have the names of the valet and the swimming pool staff gentlemen, who were extremely thoughtful and welcoming. Rooms are absolutely stunning with great functionality. I was offered an upgrade but finally decided to stay in my original Patio Room which was smaller but had a lovely external area. Lightening fixtures in the room have 4 dimming settings and I found it perfect, as if reading customers mind. Also the light arrangements in hotel’s open spaces are magical and transport you into a fairy tale every evening. Privacy and comfort is a priority and at one instance, when I’ve had a minor issue, duty manager appeared within a few minutes without me even requesting it. This kind of pro-activity shows this place is really top notch. Breakfast has everything and is absolutely delicious, staff very attentive and orders arrive very promptly. Portions were too big for me and it was nice that the staff/kitchen listened and brought smaller portions as ordered. In case you can’t make it, they provide a take-away which is again, so thoughtful. I can’t wait to return to this place for a longer stay!
