Great place 🥰Linda, the owner of is a young, engaged manager who is living the hospitality! I went there to write my master thesis and found really peace and comfort🙏🏻 The whole team is extremely friendly, the place is very clean and the breakfast is absolutely outstanding! They have an open space that you can really enjoy in the spa and the pool and the Jacuzzi outside were really great. I had a great time there.

I had a great stay there! The only problem is if you don’t have a car, there is nowhere really around to go and grab food. They have an amazing restaurant in, and I visited it once. However, if you need some small snacks or so there’s nothing around.

The two young ladies running the garden bar where exceptional always happy to help.we where here for the womens football euro in Switzerland so had a few day to see the sight They gave us great advice on what to do and how to use the bus trains and trams in Switzerland and france.hot tub and spa was great after a long day walking all over basel

Menu was the same in the restaurant all week we eat two nights but would have maybe struggled to eat there other nights as I am gluten intolerance and the menu was small.

After having a little issue with the car, we arrived late at the hotel. The receptionist was very kind and patient, which made a great first impression. She even arranged for us to use the swimming pool and sauna until 9 PM, although they normally close at 8 PM. The hotel’s calm atmosphere and beautiful surroundings were truly relaxing. I originally planned to stay just one night to rest on my way from Belgium to the Swiss Alps, but after experiencing the location and the ambiance, I wished I had booked an extra night! Just a small note: if I had extended my stay through Booking.com, it would have cost me less!

Fabulous place! Lovely location, an imposing and elegant building, good parking. Every person we met was super helpful and friendly, especially the owners daughter and her beautiful golden retriever pup! Our own dogs were made to feel most welcome here and enjoyed the woodland walks immediately behind the hotel. The room was beautifully furnished & decorated, everything worked with precision. Slight issue with A/C on first night resolved immediately and as cool as it could be on second night, typical of the service and attention to detail on offer here. We also enjoyed the restaurant immensely, ingredients were locally sourced and cooked to perfection, extensive wine list with plenty of Local wines available. I would wholeheartedly recommend a stay here, we will return!

This was our 3rd visit to the hotel. We have stopped off in July the last 3 years. We had emailed the hotel before to request the same room, we never received a reply. The room we had was fine, but not the one we requested. The restaurant and breakfast were not as good as in previous visits. Service was slow at the bar. There was a very nice young man working both restaurant & bar, he was great but I think he was just there for a summer job. Pleasant stay but hotel didn’t seem as great as it used to be.

Breakfast was quite limited and lots of flies around the food ( please cover food).

What a cute, authentic hotel that made our stay extra enjoyable. While we were only there for 1 night traveling through the area, the quick stay was absolutely wonderful. We got to enjoy the pool, sauna, gym, cold shower, steam room and got drinks to bring up to our room. The staff was amazing, the facilities were excellent and one of our favorite stops along our trip.

The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the pool and sauna were fantastic. Dinner was nice, although for the high price point (~€80 per person for two courses) I expected more from the flavours of the food. Everything was impeccably cooked though, and the wine selection was great.

The hot tub didn’t feel particularly clean, and I would have liked a kettle in the room to make tea and coffee before breakfast.

The location was ideal for our daily commute to Basel — convenient and easily accessible. The neighborhood was very quiet and peaceful, which made our stay even more pleasant. We also enjoyed the hotel breakfast; it was well-prepared with a good variety of options to start the day right.

Elegant, well maintained, lovely hotel on the French Swiss boarder. The breakfasts were delicious - very high quality breads and cheeses. The staff were kind, helpful very French (in the best way)! I had a problem with a taxi one morning and the owner of the hotel herself drove me to Basel! :)

The restaurant ! We did not rate the restaurant menu or the staff , we are well seasoned travellers and used to varying menus , but the chef wants to be too clever and it doesn’t work and the staff were snappy . We waited over an hour at our table before having water brought to us and a further 30 mins to have our meal served . if you’ve had a long drive and you’re tired and it’s purely a night stop this is not a recommendation. you’d be better off eating out . Went to bed hungry! The breakfast wasn’t great either!!
