Great location for the Airport and buses run from 4:45am. We stayed overnight as we had a 6:00am flight the next day. Bar staff was friendly and food good.

Excellent choice if you’re looking for a hotel close to the airport. Rooms are modern and clean, with very comfortable beds. There’s a full bar and a good restaurant that comes in handy because there’s nothing in the immediate vicinity. The hotel is attached to a casino if you want to do some last minute gambling before catching your flight. We used the airport shuttle both on arrival and departure, and they also offer a shuttle to go into town (which we didn’t use). Although the hotel isn’t conveniently located for visiting the city, it’s a lot less expensive than the hotels downtown. The staff was welcoming and helpful.

I didn’t know what to expect when I booked but when I arrived at the airport I was pleasantly surprised about how close the hotel was to the airport. As soon as I arrived the lovely lady at reception gave me a warm welcome. She didn’t hesitate to give me Basel bus pass, map to the city centre and offer additional guidance on how to get to the city centre. I followed her instructions to the city centre and got there and back with perfect ease. I can’t remember her I think it’s Mina ( short very pretty girl) she was brilliant!! And then Dominique!! Again very welcoming and funny, told me a few stories that made me laugh. He even gave me adapter to use All the staff was very helpful and made my time really lovely in Basel. I would highly recommend this hotel. My room was lovely also, very and tidy.

My room could have been a little warmer. I tried to put the heating on but it didn’t work. I’m not sure if I was doing it right.

Location. Just 4 stops/8 mins from airport on the n.50 bus (free with booking confirmation). Service. Staff were professional and very helpful. Antonio in particular arranged a free shuttle to our river cruise's new docking point in the morning. Room. Perfect 10. Very comfortable, large, clean and quiet. Breakfast. Comprehensive. Cereals yoghurt breads hot cooked choices and cheeses/cold meats. Cakes and fresh fruits. Staff again helpful.

I wanted to grab some food and beer at the Grand Casino because it was already past 10pm and the hotel restaurant was closed (which is fine and I understand). All employees there were attentive and friendly except for one employee who took my food and beer order. I asked for no pickles, no fries and no onions for my burger and fries, onions and pickles came with the burger. I also requested the "birdy beer" and he said that they don't have that and I should just go for a regular "Stange", although it was on the menu. It gave me a bit of "hurry up, I have better things to do" kind of atmosphere. Other then that, the hotel was exceptional as usual.

Location, friendlyness

The room was very warm, and the air conditioner could not bring down the temperature. Even the two bottles of water available in the room were warm. Outside the weather was not particularly pleasant ( rain showers. The stag was very friendly and professional. Dominik at the reception and especially Maria the Italian waitress in the bar and the French man helping her that evening. All three made our evening very enjoyable.

Even it is an airport hotel it is very near to public transportation, it is mid between airport and city centre and it is only 10min to arrive the city also to the airport. The staff is very friendly, we used luggage room many times and for long periods.

There is no minibar in the room. Although I paid all amount of price of hotel before, they transacted deposit around 50€ at the check in against the usage of Casino and bar orders.

We found this hotel in a crisis after our train back to Paris was cancelled. In half an hour I booked the rooms and we arrived at the hotel. The receptionist was an extremely kind man, very solicitous as well. The rooms were clean and comfortable.

I only saw photos of the rooms and when we arrived it was a little bit of a shock to find a bold red lounge, we didn't know the hotel was a casino as well. That's not a bad thing though, I just have no other notes.

The staff at reception/bar was extremely friendly and helpful. Desiree was very helpful at our early arrival, Andre's attention to detail was exceptional at our checking in, and made us feel very welcomed. The no.50 airport bus stops right in front of the hotel and can take you to the main bahnhof in the city centre.

I would have liked to have a kettle in my room.

Close to the airport and only a few minutes to the old city of Basel. The mass transit, system is excellent and easy to navigate. There was a bus stop only 2 minute walk from the hotel.

There shuttle to the airport does not operate until 6:00 which was too late for our flight. They ordered a taxi for us, unfortunately it was very overpriced for a 6 minute ride, 34.50 francs. Should have ordered an Uber, much less expensive.
