I asked for a taxi to be booked for the next morning. Young lady at reception said she would do it. I asked later if she managed to do it and she said it was all good. The thing is I didn't really believe her. I asked again in the morning when she wasn't on and the lady at reception had no record of it and booked one then. Really not happy about this . Why tell me it's booked? Breakfast was just ok.

The usual basic Ibis level, but with a fresh touch and care of design, so it gives a nice, almost luxury impression, both lobby and rooms. Impeccably clean, staff at the lobby and cleaning lady extremely helpful and friendly. It feels like a beloved village family inn, not an Ibis chain unit.

In an international hotel on the triangle border you may expect more than only French TV channels (plus 2 German stations)…

room extractor noisy all night no chance of switiching it off / locked garage should be free as the neighborhood inspires no confidence at all. gypsies and boy racers in pimped cars blaring french rap songs. next time we will sleep in Switzerland. It's a pity as otherwise the place was really very good value for money.

Ibis is a cosy hotel with basic facilities but enough for a short stay. It offers a very nice breakfast and is within walking distance to the St Louis train station - even with luggage. What is more, the free transfer to and from the airport ( starting at 4 am) is a great plus.

Nothing really, we were there for a short stay on our way from Basel airport to Strasbourg.

We liked that the room was large, staff was personable, there was a restaurant on site, taxi shuttle was free on way to the hotel, price of hotel was reasonable and close to the airport

Their credit card machine wasn't working so we had to go get cash. The restaurant food was pricey and not really worth the price and food selection on the menu was extremely limited. We found our own place to eat for lunch (thank goodness for Google maps), because desk person said everything was closed on Sunday, which wasn't true. Also, we didn't KNOW that the shuttle is only free one time...we had to pay to go back to the airport

The staff were friendly with good language skills. The free early morning shuttle to the airport was gratefully accepted and very useful. The location in the centre of the city is great and it is a short walk from the railway station. The hotel was very quiet and clean, and the bed was comfy.

I wished we could have stayed longer to rest and then sample the breakfast too, but our early morning flight time cut our stay.

Good value and location, a short walk from a tram stop. Despite being near the airport surrounded by busy roads, none of the street noise reached the room. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The staff was courteous and attentive.

The bathroom had been cleaned with a chlorine-based bathroom cleaner, which is good for sanitation, but it wasn’t quite rinsed from the floor and other surfaces, so that it left a moderate residual smell.

Great service. Friendly staff. Comfortable bed. Extra pillows. Nice clean and modern. Airport shuttle service. Perfect for a budget short stay. Highly recommend. Great value.

We experienced quite a lot of traffic noise generally due to lawless motorcyclists and car drivers showing off. Didn't reflect well on the area however this wouldn't stop us using this hotel again.

As usual, the staff was very friendly and helpful and always make you feel welcome , which us why i like coming back.. The rooms are very clean with all necessary amenities and the bed comfortable . 10/15 minutes walk from station and close to shops and restaurants in saint louis.

On that occasion , the air con system wasn't working.

Well situated for the airport, the service and staff were at the usual Ibis level,, nothing spectacular but efficient and welcoming. Easy electrical car charge nearby, it will be more and more a determinig factor for travallers

You get what you pay for. I know by reserving ibis the level of service will be sufficient, the rooms wil be clean, and general standards respected. So globally the experience is pleasant and value for money
