I asked for a taxi to be booked for the next morning. Young lady at reception said she would do it. I asked later if she managed to do it and she said it was all good. The thing is I didn't really believe her. I asked again in the morning when she wasn't on and the lady at reception had no record of it and booked one then. Really not happy about this . Why tell me it's booked? Breakfast was just ok.

Rooms were nice breakfast was very good as we only thought that we would only get continental breakfast but you also had bacon boiled and scrambled eggs so l was really impressed not too far about 5 to 10 minutes to walk to the train station for basel and as l can't walk very fast that's how long it took me about the same time walking for the trams to Basel

Room perfectly fine. Clean, functional, comfortable, great free WiFi. We left too early for breakfast. Free taxi to airport was great. 24/7 reception staff available.

Location a bit tricky to get to from Basel SBB train station. Taxi driver took us to wrong Ibis (apparently there are two named the same) he took us to one closest to airport (the wrong one) which was costly.

The usual basic Ibis level, but with a fresh touch and care of design, so it gives a nice, almost luxury impression, both lobby and rooms. Impeccably clean, staff at the lobby and cleaning lady extremely helpful and friendly. It feels like a beloved village family inn, not an Ibis chain unit.

In an international hotel on the triangle border you may expect more than only French TV channels (plus 2 German stations)…

room extractor noisy all night no chance of switiching it off / locked garage should be free as the neighborhood inspires no confidence at all. gypsies and boy racers in pimped cars blaring french rap songs. next time we will sleep in Switzerland. It's a pity as otherwise the place was really very good value for money.

Ibis is a cosy hotel with basic facilities but enough for a short stay. It offers a very nice breakfast and is within walking distance to the St Louis train station - even with luggage. What is more, the free transfer to and from the airport ( starting at 4 am) is a great plus.

Nothing really, we were there for a short stay on our way from Basel airport to Strasbourg.

It is a lovely hotel close to Saint Louis train station and BSL airport. The hotel is clean and straightforward. It is suitable for staying one night and catching a train or a flight. There are several restaurants close to this hotel. The one that is next door is surprisingly good.

the advertise an air port shuttle but you can only get an airport a shuttle from the hotel to the airport called from the airport they don't do a shuttle from the airport to the hotel I think they kind of misrepresented that so we had to spend 20 euros on a taxi

Very basic breakfast but okay. We stayed for a short night during Eurovision and the price was okay considering the high prices during that time. Very basic but fairly clean. Not in the center but reachable by bus, 20-30 min.

We would have wanted separate duvets to sleep in but that was not available.

The staff were friendly with good language skills. The free early morning shuttle to the airport was gratefully accepted and very useful. The location in the centre of the city is great and it is a short walk from the railway station. The hotel was very quiet and clean, and the bed was comfy.

I wished we could have stayed longer to rest and then sample the breakfast too, but our early morning flight time cut our stay.
