The staff was awesome, super nice, and gave us ideas of what to do around the city. Our 2nd room was a lot better it was a 2 queen beds, the bathroom was clean with great flow of water in the shower, the beds were comfortable, not too hard, not too soft. They breakfast was ok. You had options of cold cereal fruit loops, cheerios, or raisebrand, oatmeal, activia, 3 different kinds of bread, fruit of the day, and coffee. Nothing over the top.

The 1st room we were at had dirty towels( it seemed like the towels were older and has black stains on them), but just a call away, and we had fresh clean towels, along with an apology.

the continental breakfast was lacking. .. not much in the way of variety and when we went to get something to eat, everything had been picked through so very little left. They basically had good, hot coffee which is essential after a New Years Eve party. We ended up going out to get breakfast. However, with the great, low price of the room, on a New Year's Eve, we didn't really expect a bountiful complimentary breakfast.

better attention paid to the breakfast area

Breakfast was basic cereal, yogurt and toast also coffee and juices. Location was good able to drive to everything.

Bathroom had a leak from the light coming from the room above, so had to use towels to clean up and couldn't use the toilet while it was happening. I did let the.lady in the office know, she said she was aware and it was the pipes. I was not offered a different room which is what I would have expected.

Good location, close to the center and the excellent beaches of Lake Tahoe. Breakfasts were modest but sufficient.

The smoking area needs to be moved further away from the hotel. I was in the room at the end of the corridor and could smell smoke from time to time. The floor in the room was not clean enough to walk on barefoot.

I really liked the layout and functionality of the room. For the money, it was one of the best stays I've had over the past week of hoteling. Don't let the exterior turn you away. They start work on that this week after already attending to the comfort in the rooms.

There were some minor chips in the walls and to turn the shower on made me feel like I was going to break something but all was great otherwise. Very good value:)

It was clean and easy in and out .

They hold your funds for the hotel and look pending on your bank but then you get their and they’re charge you for it . Yes they do reverse when they check you out but you have to wait until every one checks out which of your limited to money it’s not a good feeling.

you make great coffee! It would be nice to offer some muffins or pastries. I also like that the room entryways are inside the building which offers good security.

There was a strong smell of acetone in the hallways. Not sure what the project is, but they need better ventilation. There was no way to keep water in the bath tub or sink. I don't like showers!

Don’t judge a book by its cover…the outside isn’t well maintained. If you look at the windows on the ground floor the hotel looks sketchy. Once you get inside the rooms aren’t terrible. The beds are clean and comfortable. Since hotels don’t make it comfortable for a family over 4 we have to rent 2 rooms with 2 beds in each room. Therefore we have to go with lower end hotels to make it affordable. The receptionists were extremely helpful and very friendly. I would go here again for sure.

The outside of the property was sketchy but when you entered the hotel it was clean. However the bathrooms both had a lot of hair in the sinks and the shower drains. The towel’s definitely need replacing but were clean. We even a found dirty shirt behind the chair in one of our rooms. It won’t deter us from staying again though. No hotel is perfect!

I have been staying at this property since I started working in Carson City in November. The staff always greets me warmly and I feel safe and comfortable.

I would love to see some kind of pastry offered in the continental breakfast. There are many prepackaged options that would be a nice addition to the fruit, yogurt and cereal.

The location: The motel is close to many restaurants and shops. The room: The room was very clean and the bed comfortable plus sufficient wifi. The staff: The employees were professional and responsive to our requests.

The breakfast room is very small with only 3 tables. We could barely walk in during peak hours.
