The resort was clean and quiet. So close to the Heavenly resort chairlift. We came off season, so it was basically empty, which allowed us to hike and explore unimpeded. Great location, easy drive down the hill to Gardnerville, where our friends live, or a quick drive into Tahoe for breakfast. Way less expensive than the local hotels, and no smoking, which was crucial for my asthma.

The pool and spa is a hike from this location, and there was a ton of construction going on. Not a huge deal, because the weather was still a bit chilly, but would have been bummed in the summer.

The apartment is big and comfortable. It’s clean. The propery location is good. It’s very close to one of the Heavenly lift-StageCoach Express. There will be more chances to see snowing due to property’s elevation.

The apartment is downstairs. The upstairs neighbors can be noisy and stay up late. Need to do all the cleaning job during the long stay but sometimes it’s hard to get supplies from the property.

Check in after hours, 6 pm. I have a little difficulty, the internet is not good, very slow. Speed 600kbps externall Facilities are so-so in another building. We did not find a pool/spa, nor instructions for the location.

Clean, reasonably quiet for an apartment building, well-supplied kitchen (pots, cutlery, crockery, coffee maker), the receptionist was happy for us to leave the key card at the unit and the cleaners took care of the trash bag for us (instead of pointing us to the trash containers).

The kitchen could use a cutting board and maybe extra knives that are not serrated (there was one). It would definitely be quicker if no check-in was necessary (there is even a lockbox, but not used).

The internet speed was terrible. It would be a terrible place to stay if you had to work while staying there. I also did not like booking through Booking.com. There is not an easily accessible way to communicate with them by phone, even though it said calling was an option. there was no toll free number to make changes to your reservation. It was very expensive if you don't have an international calling plan.

- spacious, clean and cozy cabin with everything you need - well equipped and big kitchen - perfect for 2 people; we stayed 3 nights but would have felt comfortable for way longer - Nice location outside of South Lake Tahoe so that you can escape the busy madness there but at the same time it‘s only a 10 minute drive to reach all shops etc - lots of trails around or within short driving range

- Internet is fast but sometimes has some hiccups - walls are thin, you definitely hear your neighbors; ask for a top floor unit or you‘ll hear every step above you - I would not recommend to stay there with more than 2 people when you plan a longer stay

It was close enough to walk to the ski lift and the shuttle dropped you off right in front. The unit itself was very comfortable and almost equipped with everything one needs to cook meals.

It would have been nice if the unit had had more cooking items like oils and spices. It is rather far from grocery stores, thus difficult to really be able to have some things for cooking meals.

Everything is so well maintained and tasteful. Lots of room and it was very private.

I'm glad that you said to avoid the GPS. The only thing that needs improving was the directions to the VI Resort office, so we missed the turn down onto the parking lot...maybe add that it's down s mini hill so it's had to see the Kingsbury Resort sign. Maybe a bigger signage. Thanks

The place was clean, the bed very comfortable and the kitchen had everything needed to actually cook. I loved it.

The bedroom fan is the exact fan I have in two of my bedrooms at home. They use a remote to operate the light and fan. The problem at the rental is when my neighbor turned on the light or the fan in their place it turned mine on or off. It happens between the two rooms at my house. That's how I knew what was happening, if not I would have thought the place was haunted.

Nice and clean and although we only required it for one night, it was very well appointed with two lovely bedrooms and were very well equipped with pretty much everything you could want- fan, vacuum cleaner, iron and ironing board, cutlery, dishwasher, fridge freezer. Very helpful out-of-hours check-in staff as we arrived at 7:45pm and check-in desk closed at 6pm. Great value for money for what was on offer.

It was quite difficult to get to although directions were decent.
