The place was clean and beds were comfortable which is important to me. It’s an older hotel that has been renovated. The rooms are nicely decorated. They have a refrigerator and Microwave. Check in and out is done remotely through text messages but it’s not bad. Message’s are friendly and to the point. Great price for room. Close to many places in South Lake Tahoe and in walking distance to restaurants.

I don’t have much negative to say. My room was on top floor and made it a little difficult bringing stuff up the stairs but I believe the rooms are quieter than downstairs. We didn’t experience any noise or issues on our stay. I like this place.

Loved the convenience of being so close to literally everything. Short walk to restaurants, the concert venue and casinos. Room was clean and updated. Air conditioner worked great and kept us comfortable. The pool looked nice even though we didn't go in it was a nice perk. Will DEFINITELY be staying here in the future when going to Tahoe.

Bathroom was a bit tight but not too bad. I definitely wouldn't let it out way the pros of our stay. Also, parking is cramped. We left pretty late in the evening after a concert to find food and came back to 0 parking spots. Would be nice if each room had a designated parking spot to help with making sure everyone for sure had a spot.

I really enjoyed my stay here. It is located within walking distance to restaurants and lakeside swimming. There are lots of e scooters near by and places to rent electric bikes. The area was quiet and I felt safe at night being a female solo traveler. The room was clean and had everything I needed including a fridge, microwave, and coffeemaker. The bed was comfy and it had Roku tv. The staff onsite were incredibly kind and accommodating. I lost my phone and they helped me out immensely and I will be forever grateful for their help! Great value for money!! Highly recommend

I didn’t talk to a single person in person. All my communication was through text. This was convenient and at sometimes confusing. However, I did like that. I just got a code and was told to check in by four. I even checked in a little bit before four. By checking in I mean, entering the code and walking into my room. The property was willing to let me park my vehicle there and go snowboarding the morning before I checked in. My room was very clean and spacious. The AI was very responsive through text (I don’t know if it was a person or actually AI that was texting me back). I was about a 5 to 10 minute walk from the gondola at Heavenly. So the location was prime. Also had easy access to all the amenities in Southlake Tahoe.

I never talked to a single worker at the place as I mentioned in what I liked about the property. It was confusing at times. At one point they texted me to tell me about a tote that was put in my room as a offer to purchase. Initially, when I received the text, I thought that someone went in my room when I wasn’t there And it freaked me out. The person or AI that was texting me told me that no one went in my room after I checked in. Maybe I could have read more, but from being used to the traditional check-in process where you go into the office, I was not used to everything being done electronically

The blue Jay lodge is a 12/10. It is so clean, newly renovated. I need their designer for my own house! It is a 4 minute walk from the gondola AND the free bus that takes you to the other gondola as well. However, the Nevada side is better skiing. You are next to beautiful resorts / lodges and the town. There are a load of activities and restaurants/pubs 2 minute walk and also 2 min walk from casinos if you like that. There is a super good taco place the next building over. The couple running blue Jay were so kind and helpful. They kept everything clean, carried our luggage up and had great recommendations. The lock system is great- no key. They give you a code and it also locks automatically in case you forgot to lock it. Very safe and nice location. I can’t wait to come back. I’ll come with family, friends or solo as I did last time.

We enjoyed our stay so much that we recommended it to friends, and they have stayed here too. The location is perfect! The hotel is within walking distance of the casinos and snow activities. You can leave your car parked at the hotel and walk to everything. All communication, as well as the check-in process, is done from your phone, just a text away, which is great! We enjoyed our stay and would stay here again!

The bed was a bit small, and the bed frame didn't feel very solid. Not a deal breaker, but wish it was better.

The room was a nice size, and the refrigerator and microwave were a plus. The bed was comfortable. The mountain view was beautiful. Very quiet, and no trouble with parking at all. We were able to park right in front of our downstairs room. The location was perfect. We were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go.

Check in was a little rough. The door code given would not work. A very nice staff member was able to help us get in the room, however, it was the wrong room. Not the one we reserved. Luckily, they were able to move us to another room which worked out for the better. The floor was a bit dirty, otherwise everything else was great!

It's a very nice motel. Each room was a good size, some rooms have double beds, others have 1 bed and something else (eg. table) but the sizes seemed uniform. Receptionist was really nice and helpful when we decided to stay an extra night. There's no breakfast but there is a coffee machine, fridge and microwave to bring food home. Supermarkets nearby via car. Room has a heater/aircon.

Found it quite noisy on the bottom floor. I would suggest they put rugs or carpet on the upper floors so that you don't hear people walking around at night. Cars also parked quite close to rooms downstairs so heard them if someone coming home late. Appreciated the ear plugs provided!

The property was in a great location, very close to the local shops and a decent distance from the beach. Although dated, the room was updated and extremely clean and pleasant to be in, we loved our stay. It was nice having a specific parking spot for our room, although if we had brought more than one car, it might’ve been a challenge to find parking. The check-in was extremely easy, all we had to do was unlock our door with a code sent to us

The property is quite dated, so the walls are a bit thin, making it easy to hear your neighbors and people outside. The parking lot is a bit cramped, and can be tight to maneuver in
