This was our second year staying in Tahoe and we wanted to stay within the same block close to Stateline, so this was a perfect location. From check in to check out, everything was great! We stayed 8 nights and loved the experience of staying at the Alpine Inn. Shout out to Lily who helped checked us in and out and the property manager, whose name I can’t remember, but who helped us with a plumbing issue and got us a toilet plunger. You guys are great! The location is quiet, close to all of the main South Lake Tahoe attractions and within a 10 minute walk to the lake. Just make sure to grab a lake voucher from the front desk so you don’t pay full price to have access to the beach.

The location was very convenient and central. The owner was very friendly and welcoming, answering my questions with patience and efficiency. The pool area and hot tub were both unexpected benefits that our 15 month old baby loved, and we also were able to enjoy. The air conditioning in our room kept us cool during a time when it was surprisingly hotter in Lake Tahoe than the bay area.

I would have liked there to be a wait staff or someone working during the checkout period. It appears to obviously be family run, so that may not always be feasible. In any case, perhaps some complimentary fruits or additional items to grab for your room would have been greatly appreciated. Awesome value, great location.

The location was perfect! It was a short walk to the lake and also to Bally’s venue for a concert we had tickets to. There was a great pool and spa available all day. We got there early and had no extra fees to be accommodated an hour and a half before check in. The older style of this property meant outlets available for our phones, and dressers for our clothes and nightstands for all our other items to be put away. There was a fridge and a microwave so we could enjoy our leftovers and an ice machine so we could get the rest of our food home safely. The staff was great! The price included parking and wifi and there was no hidden fees. It was over $100 less than the golden nugget across the street which had extra fees for parking and early check in. We had a great stay and appreciated that we can also bring our dog the next time we come back.

Our stay at the Alpine Inn & Spa in South Lake Tahoe was absolutely wonderful. The location simply can't be beat - we were just a short walk to Heavenly village, the casinos and the beautiful lake. The staff were consistently friendly and helpful during our whole stay. Our room was clean and comfortable with all the amenities we needed during our stay. For a budget - friendly option in such a prime location, the Alpine Inn and Spa exceeded our expectation. We would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a convenient and welcoming place to stay!

Though a little dated, the room was comfortable and very clean. The location was spot on - across the street from the amphitheater and within walking distance to most everything! It was awesome that we got to see Hozier on Thursday and then hang out in the chair lifts on the lawn and listen to Friday’s show - 2 for 1!!!!

Bathroom was super tiny and not a lot of space for 2 women to put all their crap -LOL! Parking was tough - and someone scraped up the side of SUV with their bumper because of it… not cool!

This is a perfect place to stay if you are attending a concert at the Harveys Outdoor Arena. It's literally a stone throw away - you can see people lining up from your window, and you can easily walk there. The hotel itself is basic but clean and comfortable - as all we did was attend a concert we didn't do more than sleep there.

While we were thrilled to be able to hear the sound check for the concert from our room, hotel guests not staying there for a concert might find the location too loud during concert nights.

My recent stay at Alpine inn & Spa nothing short of exceptional, leaving me refreshed and impressed. The staff at the front desk was incredibly efficient, friendly and genuinely seemed happy to assist. Check in was breeze, with all the necessary information provided clearly and concisely. The room was clean and bed was comfortable , housekeeping did a great job. The location was very convenient for me, walkable to city center. Would highly recommend!

Great location! We always stay here because of its walking distance to the strip. It's small and outdated but hey, it's clean and safe! Our last stay my husband left behind his iPad ( wrapped in the sheets) and when we returned a couple hours later, the cleaning staff had found it and returned it to us! We were extremely grateful!!!! Thanks again!

I liked where its location was, and i loved that they prvided a microwave because you can never go wrong plus the mini fridge. And the front desk guy from SF is very nice greate customer service!

I feel they could upgrade the bed sheets and assemble the bathroom better, and the light in our closet wasnt working. I just feel it could have so much more potential.

The hotel itself is very old, but exceptionally clean. We needed to sleep 6, so picked this hotel because it would do the trick. We didn't expect a separate room for one of the queen beds, which was really a nice surprise. Additionally, we didn't expect a kitchen, which was also nice. It was located just off the main road running through downtown South Lake Tahoe, so very convenient.

The kitchen could have been stocked with a little more, a toaster, a few more plates, some bowels would have been handy.
