Pleasant check in experience with friendly front desk staff. Upon arrival room temperature was perfect to step in. Room was spotless and spacious. Beds were comfortable and shower pressure was just as we wanted. It was quiet specially at night and we slept like baby. It was really peaceful during morning we took a walk in the neighborhood and had breakfast at a local restaurant and walked back to hotel. We request a late check out and front desk accepted it without any extra fees.

I recently stayed at big pine mountain motel and had an excellent experience. The location is superb—it's close to the center, within walking distance to restaurants, and just a 5-minute drive to the beach. The room was good, and the front desk staff were incredibly helpful upon our arrival. They made sure we had a room that accommodated our family's needs. I appreciate their service and highly recommend this motel for anyone looking for a budget-friendly option to enjoy Tahoe with their family.

Location was great for us as we do not car during the trip. It was very convenient, walking distance to center, close to many shops and restaurants. Room was clean and comfortable. Amenities were good and Wi-Fi worked great. Staff was very friendly and informative about the local recommendations. We also got late check out on request. Overall a great stay!

Great experience staying at Big pines during my recent tip to Tahoe. This place is my first choice as property is pet friendly, conveniently located and accessible to many attraction spots. Property is old but well maintained and has clean comfortable rooms. Staff is very well behaved and helping in nature. Perfect place to enjoy your time when in Tahoe.

My mom and I recently had an emergency situation come up. And we found this motel near Stateline. When we got here we were emotional and exhausted and we literally collapsed for a few days. The staff here is incredible! They’re kind and accommodating and the couple that run the motel are gracious and caring and very good at their job. We’ve actually become friends. If anyone I know wants to come to Tahoe I will send them here. The beds are comfortable and I live with chronic pain. The rooms are big and clean. There are little fridges and microwaves so you can keep your food or leftovers fresh and they have nice televisions if those things are important to you. If you’re used to staying at a hotel or a luxury accommodation, this may not be the place for you. However, if you want a clean, comfortable and safe place to be. This is it!!! We actually stayed one night in another motel and we came back because we felt safe here. I just love the staff, as I stated and would not stay in another motel. There’s a pool and it’s family and pet friendly. Stay here… stay here! You’ll be happy you did

To whom it concerns: we came to the Big Pines late at night tired and travel worn from a long day.. We were greeted by Iftee and his wife. Can't say enough about how professional both he and his wife were and how quickly we were accommodated to our room! Our stay at your motel was very pleasant and we can't say enough for Iftee and his wife who were kind enough to bring extra towels, and answer all are questions. Thank you, we will be back. Location is great, especially if you want access to Heavenly’s gondola. The kitchenette was much appreciated and made cooking food really easy! Also, nice towels that were really soft.

The heater was loud and created a very dry room. The bedding blanket was really thin and I had a hard time sleeping due to how cold it was.

Nice quick and smooth check in experience at the beginning with super friendly front desk staff. Room we got was clean and super comfortable with needed amenities. Shower was great and heater was amazing all night. We had a great experience staying at this hotel. In short great value .

We had a very pleasant and memorable stay and all this happen because of the great customer service of the hotel. Staff was very attentive and helping during our whole stay, not leaving any chance to made us more comfortable and happy. Location was also a strong reason behind this. Would stay again !

It was great staying at Big Pines Mountain House. Property has a fantastic location with quiet neighborhood. My check in was breeze and staff was friendly during my whole stay. Room was clean and bed was cozy. Ample lights in the room with a handy desk. Overall i enjoyed my stay.
