The staff at the registration desk were very friendly and helpful. I had arrived from CA to attend a 3pm wedding in Gardnerville and was hoping to check in prior to the 3pm check-in time. At first I was told I needed to return at 3pm but when I explained I had asked for the possibility of early check in on my Booking.com reservation, the clerk searched for an available room. She found a room that was a little different than my original reservation, but was available then for me to check-in early. The clerk accommodated my request so that I was able to change for the wedding & arrive on time for the event. Very comfortable bed; overall a good stay.

I like the room, which is big, clean, and has everything to make you feel comfortable, including an excellent bed. The place is quite close to Lake Tahoe, and you can use it as a cheaper hotel. It is also important to mention that the hotel has some good restaurants for breakfast or dinner.

It is hard to say what I did not like, but I had some difficulties finding the reception. There is not much to do around the hotel, and the only option I found was to go to Lake Tahoe.

Location was good and room was clean. We had a couple of meals at one of the restaurants. Dinner was good and staff was friendly.

The website said one of the restaurants was open 24 hours a day but the reality is the breakfast restaurant didn't open until 6 AM. We ate their one morning but they were understaffed. Our room was next to the spa and you could hear the door closing late in the evening.

The room was clean, beds comfortable, and bathroom spotless. It is a casino and so you had different choices for food. Katie's Country Kitchen was an great place to eat, with excellent service and large meals for good prices.

As expected, even though the rooms are "non-smoking" they still smelled a little smoky. But the linens and towels didn't, so that helped.

Easy parking, clean hotel & casino, employees were extremely friendly, the restaurant was fantastic for breakfast & lunch.

Dinner at the restaurant (not the steakhouse) was a disappointment. I had to go ask the hostess where our waitress was, & she left the ticket at our table before asking if we wanted any dessert.

The rooms were very clean. The staff were pleasant and very helpful. The electricity on our wing of the 1st floor went out. My husband needs a c pap machine to sleep with. They were extremely helpful and gave us an upgraded room that had electricity. We really enjoyed our stay there.🙂

I have nothing negative to say about the Carson valley.Inn ,It was wonderful

I was there to visit my 91 year old Mom in a rehabilitation facility after a bad fall. It was only about 10 minutes away by car. The people their are very helpful and friendly. The restaurant was handy and the food was good. I will stay their again.

I found the parking inconvenient at times since it is shared with the Casino.

Was not able to get a none smoking room in the Hotel , didn't sleep due to the smell (had an excuse to spend more time at the Casino LOL)....Receptionist was great and offered a nonsmoking Room at the Travelodge , but I wanted to stay in the the Inn .Now I know to reserve on time for a none smoking room...But I WILL DEFINITELY GO BACK ! The Hotel has great service and everyone is very nice .The kids enjoyed the pool and us grownups enjoyed the time at the Casino! Food was great at Katie's Dinner! Im glad I listened to my coworker that recommended the place , I have started to recommend it to other Kaiser coworkers Thank you

This place is so cool - very retro and old west, but also very clean with a super friendly staff. The CW Steak restaurant is very good and the casino is nice sized and intimate. Rooms are very nice, especially the beds and showers.

Actually I'd have to say there was nothing I didn't like. If we head to the Carson Valley again, we will definitely be back.

Bellman Morio was excellent, as was desk clerk Tyler. Food at restaurant was great. Everyone was so nice.

Guests directly upstairs from us sounded like they were having a wrestling match going on. Next time I'm requesting a top floor room. That was the only setback.
