The staff at the registration desk were very friendly and helpful. I had arrived from CA to attend a 3pm wedding in Gardnerville and was hoping to check in prior to the 3pm check-in time. At first I was told I needed to return at 3pm but when I explained I had asked for the possibility of early check in on my Booking.com reservation, the clerk searched for an available room. She found a room that was a little different than my original reservation, but was available then for me to check-in early. The clerk accommodated my request so that I was able to change for the wedding & arrive on time for the event. Very comfortable bed; overall a good stay.

I like the room, which is big, clean, and has everything to make you feel comfortable, including an excellent bed. The place is quite close to Lake Tahoe, and you can use it as a cheaper hotel. It is also important to mention that the hotel has some good restaurants for breakfast or dinner.

It is hard to say what I did not like, but I had some difficulties finding the reception. There is not much to do around the hotel, and the only option I found was to go to Lake Tahoe.

The room was comfortable, very clean and updated decor..a lot nicer than the old version. All staff were very nice and accommodating

No bathtub ( for those that need one) our room was larger but way to far from the casino (our fault) casino is still really smokey, and not many choices to eat.. either Katie's coffee shop very inexpensive or an upscale restaurant, very expensive..

Location was good and room was clean. We had a couple of meals at one of the restaurants. Dinner was good and staff was friendly.

The website said one of the restaurants was open 24 hours a day but the reality is the breakfast restaurant didn't open until 6 AM. We ate their one morning but they were understaffed. Our room was next to the spa and you could hear the door closing late in the evening.

Room and amenities were much nicer than a normal motel or even most hotels. Multiple dining options at property were excellent and a real value. Staff was genuinely friendly, competent, and very helpful. Wish all inns were like this property. My only regret was that I didn't stay longer.

That I didn't stay for at least one more night.

The little CAFE in the Hotel is really Awesome! It might be one of the best features. Also, the Inside Casino Bar and bar ternders could not be nicer! They are fantastic and very friendly.

Would love earlier Reservations for same day resos at CV Steak. Its awesome, but we couldnt eat until 8pm!

It was clean and quiet. Great access to highway 395 Casino if you feel.like gambling

They only allow service dogs. We had our small dog who always travels with us and I was told they don't allow dogs. The manager was super cool and allowed us to stay the night with her anyways. Staff was really cool

The room was clean, beds comfortable, and bathroom spotless. It is a casino and so you had different choices for food. Katie's Country Kitchen was an great place to eat, with excellent service and large meals for good prices.

As expected, even though the rooms are "non-smoking" they still smelled a little smoky. But the linens and towels didn't, so that helped.

Easy parking, clean hotel & casino, employees were extremely friendly, the restaurant was fantastic for breakfast & lunch.

Dinner at the restaurant (not the steakhouse) was a disappointment. I had to go ask the hostess where our waitress was, & she left the ticket at our table before asking if we wanted any dessert.

The rooms were very clean. The staff were pleasant and very helpful. The electricity on our wing of the 1st floor went out. My husband needs a c pap machine to sleep with. They were extremely helpful and gave us an upgraded room that had electricity. We really enjoyed our stay there.🙂

I have nothing negative to say about the Carson valley.Inn ,It was wonderful
