This hotel is in a great location if you are going to Lake Tahoe for the first time. You are just minutes away from the Gondola and many shops and restaurants as well as other casinos. You don't have to drive everywhere if you need to purchase something. There is a 24-hour CVS pharmacy and a couple of restaurants open all night as well. The hotel is a short-walk from the Lakeside beach (only one mile away) and you can definitely enjoy the walk and the view without having to drive there. There are tons of options to move around including renting bikes and/or electric scooters through a mobile app. We were in a smoking room and the floor was quiet. Going at the end of September helps you explore many areas with way fewer people around but the Gondola was closed for the season. I would also recommend to go Virgina City and Reno, Nevada as well. It is just a one-hour drive from Lake Tahoe.

The staff was efficient but not super friendly. Be prepared to pay all the extra resort fees and taxes that are included in your final bill. They don't have room service at the moment (end of Sept. 2023) so if you get hungry later, you will need to get out of the hotel to grab something to eat. The shower in the bathroom was really small (just a shower head and no extension) and the water pressure was not strong at all but you can take a shower fine but it would be nice to have an actual nice big shower in a hotel that charges you all the resort fees. No bathtub in the room but maybe this is safer due to health matters or Public Health Safety measures.

Very nice area and wonderful facilities

Ended up charging more than had signed up for. Charge $40 per room for 2 rooms per day and had one car. For parking .They told me after I asked it's for each room,car or not was not informed on that. Also increased my resort tax more than was advertised on booking.com

The last minute hold on my reservation was change and got a crumie view Of a roof .

I loved the view of Lake Tahoe and the room we had was cute.

No complaints. Except there was no laundry room or microwave and we got a water bottle worth $5. That’s a complaint BUT also we don’t mind the no laundry room it gave us a reason to go out and explore Lake Tahoe area. As for the microwave we really only needed it to heat up food we already had but again it gave us a reason to explore our options. I was on a little bit of a budget that day but if I wasn’t I honestly wouldn’t have no complaints, the staff and everything else was so nice and my little sister in-law loved it there.

The view was spectacular. The room layout was good. The bathroom with the spa tub was a nice extra touch. The safe and ironing board were appreciated.

The chairs were horrible, highly uncomfortable and hard to sit on for any length of time! The elevators are hazardous, they close quickly and aggressively on unsuspecting clients. They closed on me several times when entering and exiting the elevator. I spoke to 2 workers while riding, they mentioned the same thing!

Location and size of rooms

We had an issue with hot water and called the front desk. We were told they would send someone, but three calls and 40 mins later we went down and finally got a room change. They wanted to charge us for the room change request as well as for the valet parking service that we did not use. They finally did not, although they charged more than I expected. The hotels that I booked in Tahoe and Vegas’s through booking.com have charged a lot more than what booking said.

We loved everything: - The room was nice and clean, with a huge bathroom - The staff was super friendly, caring, and helpful. We were staying in Vegas just two days earlier and it was such a striking contrast to the tired and borderline rude receptionists of the two hotels on the Strip that we stayed at. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts, lovely people working at Bally's! - Great dining options without having to leave the hotel: the food was delicious and affordable, the choices were varied, the staff was awesome. - The indoor pool was "the best we've ever seen" according to my two children :). It is pleasantly warm, deep, and beautiful. There's also a hot tub that has three different areas with varying temperature! And on a Monday morning we had it all to ourselves. Yay!

Nothing to complain about. We initially were placed in a smoking room by mistake, but they moved us to a different room right away, without a wrinkle - very efficient and helpful staff.

We really enjoyed our time at the hotel. The staff at the reception is very friendly and very helpful, they gave us a lot of great tips and recommendations. The room was great, very large, at the top floor and with an amazing view of Lake Tahoe. The casino is small but very nice. You actually have the time and space to play a table game, if you like that, and interact with the dealers. The location is great and still close to all the other nature attractions around Lake Tahoe. It was my first time at Lake Tahoe, and the hotel experience contributed to the fun we had there.

Location is great, dog friendly, indoor pool and jacuzzi were perfect temperatures, rooms are huge and have mini fridges. Mountain view is better than the lake view. Cafe Sol restaurant downstairs was good, huge portions and delicious food.

Pillows were horrible, they were so small and flat. Common areas were dirty, elevators were filthy, trash bins overflowing. Leaks all over the lobby ceilings. Wish the pool stayed open later.

We asked for a top floor and received that with a bonus beautiful view of the lake and Edgewood golf course! Celebrating our 28 th anniversary- that was perfect!

We heard the motors of the elevators consistently. So sleeping was challenging. And one of the many maintenance workers and the person he was speaking to was talking over the walkie-talkie very loudly at a very early hour in the morning.
