The rooms are large and clean. Loved the indoor pool/hot tub/ gym. The bar in lobby is nice with a nice bartender (Carsen) the other restaurants/bars I didn't try. The location is perfect for walking to Heavenly gondola, shopping, restaurants and casinos if you're into that sort of thing. The lake is a short walk away as well. I would stay here again and I found the staff to be very kind and accommodating.

We did have an issue with the lock on our room so they moved us to another room and the heater didn't work in that room. Third room worked great. A little hassle, but the staff was very kind and helpful.

We had a premium king room and it was well appointed clean updated. The facilities itself are a little dated and the teal just makes it look cheap. I realize it's one of their predominant colors in their branding, but they should've went with a more royal blue or a lighter blue that they use throughout the facility it just made it feel cheap And a little dirty and it wasn't. It was very clean. There were a lot of hidden fees I booked and it said all taxes and fees were included, but it ended up being another $92 so it really wasn't a good value and I would not have booked. Had I not had to pay $92 in additional taxes and fees that did not include the deposit at $75 at night that they don't tell you about until you check in

If I hadn't had an excellent stay somewhere else in the same town the week before, my review may be different. It's hard to give a view independent from that experience. My first night at Margaritaville was disappointing: Firstly the room description was incorrect on the main hotel website (booking.com I think is ok). There is no washing machine or dryer in the King Suites. There are 2 machines on the 8th floor and you have to pay to use them. Then I ordered room service as I was really tired and it was a bit of a disaster. Half was missing, no drink and then no answer (repeatedly rang out until just cut out) when calling to find out what to do. Eventually reception told me I shouldn't have ordered an alcoholic cocktail for room delivery - even though the hotel app allows it. But then an apologetic server appeared with one 10mins later... but still no rest of the food... The advertised features like the outside bar, smores over fires weren't available. The breakfast cafe is only open at weekends. The options from the coffee shop are limited and their food wasn't really to my taste. Apart from the issue re room service, the staff were very cheerful and helpful. My general feeling of the hotel was very much form over function. It's a really, really pretty hotel but not enough thought has gone into how people actually use it. Based on the surprised reactions to my 6 night stay, I suspect it's primarily used for 1 or 2 nights so the lack of simple things like washing up capability, bin (trash) bags, shelf in shower etc etc may not be an issue for a quick stay. If prices were comparable I would choose the Hilton over Margaritaville if I return. But if there was a significantly better price at Margaritaville I would probably go back. Again it was just a few small things that made it not as great as the Hilton. If I hadn't been there just before, I may not have noticed.

My wife and I like everything about the hotel, the room, the service. The hotel itself, very beautiful hotel, the area was great.

The pool is small and crowded, we recommend building another one for adults only. The restaurant Land Shark Bar and Grill, we were very disappointed, we waited about 30 minutes then we ask someone who was going to be out server, the servers look at us and did not approach us if we needed everything, but now it was 45 minutes of waiting than finally our server came with an attitude. We were disappointed because it was a special night for my wife. The food was okay, but the prices were high, we would never go back to that restaurant. Also they are no restaurants that are open 24 hrs for service in the hotel that was discouraging. I wish the hotel store would stay open 24 hrs. I had a stomach ache and couldn't get anything. Wish you were add a regular iron instead of a steamer in the room.

Updated: We recently had an issue during our stay, but we're very impressed with how the general manager handled it. He personally called us, apologized for the inconvenience, and walked us through the steps they took to prevent the problem from happening again. We're fully satisfied with his response, which is why we've changed our rating from 1 to 10. Great service is all about the team, and the senior management at Margaritaville Resorts truly stepped up to address our problem. Thanks to the general manager’s efforts, we look forward to staying at Margaritaville Resorts again. We truly appreciate general manager's excellent service!

The all suites hotel means your room is huge and lovely. We had a couple in our group of 12 ‘upgrade’..don’t do that. No need! Our room was $150 cheaper and there’s was higher floor but an ada room. So shower curtain not nice glass like ours. Anyhoo, the chill out bar is cool when it’s open, love the happy hour and live music. Free shuttle for dinners out was lovely!!!

The pool and hot tub was not usable for us. The icky foam on top of the spa is gross. Too many kids I guess. Maybe add a hot tub on the patio outside the indoor pool and make it adult only. Bc after a day on the slopes we very much missed being able to hot tub. Also the tile in there is SO dangerous. Watched a guy slip- and had to hop up to ensure he was conscious- super scary. I think you need something on that patio outside. Not relaxing to have 35 kids splashing and icky water. Shuttle only runs 4pm fyi

Location: the hotel location is excellent, right in the center of Stateline, close to shops, restaurants, casinos and close to Heavenly. Room: The room was spacious, when a separate bedroom. The bathroom was big and bright, but the door is huge and is awkward to open and close all of the way (180 degrees).

Parking: The hotel does not offer self park and is valet only. We valeted during off times, avoiding the 11am check out time, and it was convenient. However, the roadway that the valet uses (just outside the hotel lobby is in very poor condition (extreme pot holes), so I was very hesitant to valet the car often. We did self-park at the casino next door (1 hour free), when we were just stopping back at the hotel for a short break. The road to exit the hotel is also in poor condition. Pool: The water in the pool and hot tub was not clear at all. It was cloudy and there was a lot of "foam" in the hot tub. On the nice side, the water in the pool was rather warm and there were movies shown in the pool area.

to follow up with what I didn't like. Heres what I did like, I had my booking on my phone and was able to show that the resort fees, and taxes had already been paid, although I had to get a manager involved, the charges were reversed from my Card.

rooms were booked on Booking .com, all taxes, resort fees, were included in my payment at time of booking, upon arrival and check-in, I was told there was an addition fee due per room of $126.00 for taxes and resort fees. This was very discouraging, given the total cost for 2 rooms for 1 night was $586.00 making the grand total $838.00 I will tell you now, I've traveled from the west coast to the east coast and there is not a hotel or motel in the country that's worth that kind of money for 1 night stay.

The properties cleanliness and decor, very upscale. The amenities like pool, restaurant, cafe, everything I needed was there. The rooms are a bit larger which was very nice. All the staff that helped were very nice. The location was also great to access events close by. There was a lady Nicole that helped me often in the cafe and she was very friendly and helpful and would say Hi when she saw me stop in. Thanks for a great weekend. My daughter is epileptic and we had her service dog with us and everyone is helpful and friendly. They even loaned us a wheelchair to get her from the room to the car after she had a seizure in the room and we were trying to checkout.

Nothing I could think of.

From booking to checking in to checkout everything was fabulous. Ana assisted me over the phone and by text with making sure I could bring my dog. At check in Victoria (sorry I've forgotten the name) was so helpful I didn't get the names of the valet but they were also very kind and helpful with my luggage. The room looked exactly like the picture and was clean. I appreciated all the text updates with the weather conditions, hotel amenity information as well as information on different activities happening within the hotel such as movie night and drink specials.
