A really good hotel, comfortable and spacious rooms, nice pool area, and just near the beach. Super friendly staff that goes above and beyond. Food at the restaurant is good, although a bit limited options. Free bikes are available to guests, but in all honesty, they are in such poor condition that you can’t drive much more than a few miles from the hotel.

Parking charges - which we weren’t aware of - are really high. 30$+tax while there’s plenty of free street parking is absolutely unacceptable. As a minimum, you should explicitly ask your guests in advance if they want to use it and explain the cost and the alternatives. No breakfast included, but we knew that.

Room service was timely and delicious. Bathroom had steam room within shower plus heated toilet seat and towel warmer. Mountain and lake view from king suite balcony was beautiful. Front desk brought us a fan at our request.

Parking was additional fee unless you park for free on the side of the road. Fireplace was faulty and didn't work, would have been nice to use. Spa service pricing was astronomical.

Stayed here recently for my friend’s birthday. It was a group of nine of us that traveled together. The staff and everyone at the Landing were so nice and super friendly. We mainly talked to Charles, Jason, Ben, Nolan, Mel, and Sarafina. Everyone was super nice and treated us like family. I seriously can’t say enough amazing things about everyone here. I felt like they added such a personable touch with the shuttle and letting us know to call ahead and they would pick us up anywhere within a 2 mile range. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this place to anyone coming to Tahoe.

Location is close to Gondola for skiiing, but in a quiet location set a few blocks back from the busy Main Street. Outdoor hot tub each evening was fantastic, even when surrounded by snow. Hot chocolate station in lobby was a great touch. Shuttle bus was brilliant and made life so easy.

Room was quite modest. Although advertised as suitable for 4, it was very small for our family of 4 (incl. 2 kids). The open window with wooden shutters between the bathroom and bedroom is not a practical solution for privacy when using the toilet while others are in bed. Whilst there was a fireplace in the room, we found it lacked practical solutions (hooks, rails, hangers etc.) for drying ski jackets, gloves, beanies etc each evening. Surprised that hasn’t been thought of in a ski resort. The restaurant had very few kid options, so we couldnt dine there during our stay.

The Landing Resort & Spa is a lovely retreat for those looking to relax. The location is simply stunning, offering breathtaking views of the lake and mountains that create a peaceful ambiance. The rooms are spacious, well-maintained, and provide a cozy environment to relax in. Although the fireplace in the room wasn’t functional during my visit, it didn’t take away from the overall enjoyment of the stay. It’s a fantastic place for a quiet getaway, and I would definitely recommend it for anyone looking to unwind and recharge.

The food was amazing as well as the wait staff. We ate all of our meals there. We had a wonderful stay-so relaxing and the property is so well designed for a small space - loved the room, the rooftop terrace, the pool and beach. What more could we ask for?

Nothing. It is a little pricey and the beach is crowded on the weekend. It really isn’t a private beach since anyone can go there after paying. We will definitely return - probably during the week for fewer crowds in the summer.

The 2 adjoining rooms we had were beautifully outfitted with amenities. Beds and pillows were extremely comfortable and the heated floor in the bathroom was lovely. The property was so quiet at night it contributed to great sleep. Every single staff member with whom we interacted were so welcoming and friendly, from the desk staff to valets to restaurant staff. We all enjoyed massages in the spa and they were outstanding, ranking in the best we ever had. Dinner at Jimmy’s was delicious and included a range of amazing options along with a great selection of wines. The location was perfect for exploring downtown as everything including the gondola were within walking distance.

Really we liked it all. Maybe offering a regular bar service/happy hour on the lovely rooftop terrace would be great. We did do the happy hour the one afternoon and really enjoyed it.

Staff were super friendly and helpful. Location was fantastic. Room was bigger and more luxurious than I was expecting.

The heater near the swimming pool didn't turn on as needed a new fuel tank. Staff promptly switched it over upon request. Jacuzzi wasn't working. Would suggest checking things like patio heaters are working on a daily basis if not done already and ensure guests are made aware ahead of time if things like the jacuzzi are out of order and an expected fix date.

The staff members, from the welcoming faces at the front desk to the attentive restaurant servers and the knowledgeable van driver, were exceptionally friendly and accommodating. They went above and beyond to provide valuable information and assistance throughout our stay, enhancing our overall experience with their warmth and helpfulness. The rooms were impeccably clean, beautifully cozy, and offered a stunning view of the mountains and water from our balcony. The fireplace added a delightful touch, and the luxurious bathroom shower and jet tub were a wonderful bonus. I would absolutely choose to stay here again!

There were lots of nice surprises and small details at the hotel that were very pleasant. Robes for the hot tub, heated bathroom floors and heated toilet seat, fireplace with seating area in the room, free shuttle around town, and free hot beverage bar in the lobby. These made our stay feel extra special and luxurious.
