Older property, but nicely maintained. Good WiFi and a very quiet neighborhood. The front desk staff is great

Breakfast was weak. Cereal, pre-cooked waffles that you had to heat in a toaster, and toast options. The housekeepers stood in front of the food and utensils for 20 minutes, talking loudly in Spanish and loading up their plates repeatedly. It was uncomfortable to keep asking them to allow me to get utensils and a packet of syrup.

We thought the hotel would be old and run down, so we were pleasantly surprised to see our spacious room with 2 queens, a sink, microwave, fridge and space to prep a small meal. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom was a good size. It is 2 blocks to the state capitol and other buildings. The surrounding are is filled with small but tidy homes. The people were friendly and very helpful. The breakfast was limited but everything we needed and the coffee was good! There is coffee in the lobby for a to-go cup and water dispenser to refill your bottle. Lots of brochures about local activities and a large map of the local area. Air conditioner worked well.

The towels were fluffy but not at all absorbent. I would stop using fabric softener or buy better ones.

The hotel was clean an well cared for. There was ample staff available, cleaning, 24 hours at the front desk, maintenance men busy fixing things, parking lot was fresh striped, new benches to sit on outside, a clean laundry room to wash my clothes, a small fitness studio to excercise in, an events center to rent for parties etc., a large breakfast room also to rent for meetings, great location to walk arounf the central city. Overall, a wonderful stay!!

The 200 room complex is a little old - however, care for the facilities made up for the age. The walls were artfully decorated, which added to the charm and brightened the facilities.

The staff was friendly and welcoming. The 2-bed room was clean, comfortable and roomy. It had a table and two chairs as well as a small sink, microwave and refrigerator. Good hot water in the shower. The hotel had an ice machine and a hot and cold water dispenser by the front desk as well as simple breakfast options. The hotel is within a few minutes walk to the State Capitol and State Museum. Plenty of free parking. It was a good value for the need to stay in that area.

The walls are thin. I could hear the conversation of the tourists in the room next to me, if the TV in my room wasn't on.

the hotel itself was a great location to shops and restaurants nearby. Also, close to the freeway. The room was good size with a large bathroom. I like the hospitality of the staff: they were engaging and made you feel welcome to be there.

The only thing that irritated me was the fact that we were not warned of early morning (8AM) construction next to our room on a Saturday morning (we got there late Friday night). Had I been warned I would have asked for a room further away from the noise so my wife and I can sleep through Saturday morning ( we couldn't because of the noise). So a telephone or text message warning would have been nice.

This older property was clean and the staff was friendly. The neighborhood was safe, and there were lots of places to choose for meals close by. The beds were comfortable, and linens were clean and fresh. The morning breakfast was satisfying and reasonable in relation to the very reasonable price of the room. My husband I would stay in the Carson City Plaza Hotel again when we want to spend time in the area.

We met friends who also stayed at this hotel. We found tables and benches outside for visiting, but it would have been nice to have a larger lobby area, or a more accommodating area to sit and talk inside of the property.

The staff was kind and helpful. The location was great as it is right across the street from Black Bear Diner so food options were appreciated. The room was spacious and we had no trouble connecting to WiFi and streaming our favorite shows.

The beds were super soft and squishy without much support. In the bathroom, there was a cluster of tiny bugs under the sink. The lighting was dim and the tree painting on our wall looked like it was covering up water damage so it was off-putting. Perhaps it was not water damage but unfortunately, the coloring did make it look that way.

The staff was very nice and helpful. The bed was comfortable, but the pillows were a little bit on the hard side . I love the painted tree that were in the room and the hallway . The soundproofing is excellent. I I could not hear any noise from my neighbors, around me or above me .

Nothing . Everything was excellent . The bathtub was hard to get into and out of . There needs to be more grab bars .

Super quiet room and comfortable bed in an older hotel in the center of Carson City. Easy to find. Good parking. Really nice staff.

Just want to clarify that there is not a hot breakfast. There are a variety of breads, muffins and waffles for toasting, hard boiled eggs, juice, coffee, tea, cereal, packets of oatmeal, and yogurt. But it was plentiful.

The hotel honored our request for room location. We stayed in the main hotel building. There is also an annex building behind the main building. The room was very big and the bed comfortable. We could open the windows to get a nice breeze at night. The neighborhood behind the hotel (away from the main street) was quiet. The hotel was full, but we didn't hear any other guests.

Even though this is a non-smoking hotel, and there were signs saying that you cannot smoke within 500 feet of the hotel, there was a smoking area with seating and ashtrays right next to where you unload the car at the main entrance so you could not avoid the smoke. The air conditioner and the refrigerator were both noisy.
