Very unique hotel! Aside from the usual amenities one expects to have a at a 4star hotel, I especially loved all the little touches that made it different…. The elevators were efficient and not like the usual elevator, there were unusual artworks throughout, with a contemporary and art deco flair, glass showers in the rooms with rain shower fixtures, and cute little delivery robots that brought room service! They had an excellent bar/lounge serving handcrafted specialty drinks with an exterior seating area streetside where you could “people watch”. The restaurant has an excellent reputation for its food (although we did not have a chance to try it out. All the staff we encountered were pleasant and super helpful. Someone spoke to us every time we passed the desk when coming in or going out for the day. The hotel is located very centrally and within easy walking distance from most downtown attractions. And they are a dog friendly hotel!! In fact, they have a dog statue to greet guests out front !! City views from the rooms are incredible!
I would have liked to have had a way to purchase bottled water without having to bother someone for room service. I also would have liked to see an assortment of herbal teas along with the coffee selection in the rooms. But these are small suggestions, not complaints.

The front desk staff were all lovely and so helpful to try to help us with an early check in. They have a hot chocolate and water bar at the front, umbrellas for rainy days. The location was superb, around the block from the Magnificent Mile, Starbucks Reserve. A 10-15 min walk to the bean. It was central w/ so many great restaurants nearby. We had breakfast at The Albert daily and are really grateful for Elizabeth's warm hospitality and lovely service. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to all of our friends and family.

This was an amazing hotel with such a chic sci-fi feel. The location was fabulous - off the doorstep to magnificent mile. The staff were all lovely and welcoming. The robots were entertaining and so impressive. The glass shower in the middle of the room and the decor were awesome. There’s a blues bar a short walk away called Blue Chicago which is a must!!!
The only thing that wasn’t perfect was the emergency vehicle sirens on the road which seemed to be going off quite a bit. Maybe it was just a busy Friday night in the city. If you’re a light sleeper you may want earplugs.

Quality of the hotel and room was great. We loved the design and furnishings of the room. The staff was helpful and friendly. Loved the different lighting options and the downstairs bar was very great.
There was a noted ash smell in the bathroom area. Seemed past guests may have smoked and the wallpaper in the bathroom area was holding the smell. We would have appreciated a better scrubbing/cleaning of the walls or something to help alleviate any unpleasant smells. Would also be nice if the downstairs bar was open a bit longer as well.

The hotel staff were very helpful and accommodating to special requests. The rooms had light controls via an Alexa or light switches located around the room, even by the bed. The bed and pillows were the comfiest I've had in a hotel so far!
We weren't a fan of the open bathroom. While there was a curtain you could draw across for privacy and the toilet had a sliding door, we still felt a little too "exposed" vs a more tradition bathroom with a door.

Loved everything about staying here! The location is perfect since it’s right by all the stores and restaurants everything was walking distance. The hotel staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The room was clean and the bed was so comfortable! The room view was incredible. (It was so kind that they went out of their way to upgrade our room for my husband & I anniversary.) I loved the art work throughout the hotel and all the little details.
The food was delicious just the cheesy potatoes were super salty.

an amazing property. lived it very much. convenient location and a really wonderful decoration. my room was so comfortable. delicious breakfast at the lobby restaurant.
my room was next to the elevators and there was a speaker playing loud elevator music right outside my door. i had to ask front-desk to turn it down at night. strangely there was no soap offered next to the sink in the bathroom.

Very modern and loved the science theme running throughout the hotel. Cleo and Leo they were cool robots and were great for bringing up the extra towels. The digital technology pretty impressive. The manager on checking out on the 10/21 morning at approx 11am ( I apologise I have forgotten his name ) he was very professional, courteous and really listened to ideas I had to improve a few small issues we had experienced. I felt confident he was going to address these minor issues and was very kind in offering a gesture of goodwill. Aubrey was charming. He took time to get to know you and he was interested in you and genuinely warm. He thanked us for our support in choosing to stay at the hotel a lovely gesture. Nia was polite and really good at hosting. Keep up the good work Nia. The beds and pillows were the most comfortable ever that I have slept in.
I couldn’t say there was anything I didn’t like.

While staying at the hotel Nicholas was a great helps. I had a cake delivery that got misplaced and Nicholas took the extra care to make sure it was found and delivered promptly. The room was large with a great view of the city. I loved that it was freshen up daily. It was a great location for walking to everyone we wanted to see. Starbucks Reserve, the Art Institute, the Bean and the river architecture tour. Adding on the breakfast vouchers was a great value. It was a bit of a splurge to stay here, but as it was my birthday, I was super happy with the decision and the entire stay.

Loved everything about this hotel! The location was perfect and walking distance to everything. Literally less than 10mins in walking to Michigan Ave. The rooms were spacious for me and my guy and we loved the boutique style of everything and how masculine/feminine everything was. The smell inside was also heavenly. Staff was also pretty amazing. They gave us suggestions on food and things to do. Will return for future visits.
