Great setting in the forest, free parking, close to the city but very quiet.
Our room lovated in the ground floor was looking right to the parking lot and everyone that passed by could easily see us, so we had to close the curtains in all times. We suggest to ask for a room that looks to the rear side (forest view).

A lot of thought went into making our stay special. An example of this is that we asked for a cot and not only did they provide this, but they also provided, bath toys, dummies, wipes, a jug, nappy bags, cotton balls and a change mat. Nothing was too much to ask and every member of staff we interacted with was lovely. It was a lovely set up: Behind the hotel is a river Pub next door with large pub garden which had live music when we arrived A park and play area Large car park
When our key card didn’t work, we had to go all the way back to the pub to have it swapped over which is a drawback of having the hotel’s reception at the bar. There wasn’t a lift, so had to carry buggy/suitcase up the stairs. Due to being close to some major roads, it can be a little noisy.

Couldn't have asked for a better night away. We just needed a night to ourselves away from the kids. This being local was ideal, so if there was an issue, we could get back easily. Couldn't fault it
As said before, I couldn't fault it. However, one thing that my husband laughed about and couldn't stop was that I wanted a shower - simple. Nope, th shower head had different settings on, and I like to see what's available. I had to call my husband into the bathroom because wherever I stood in or out on tip toes or not, I still couldn't reach the shower head. I was screwed in at one level (about 6 inches from the ceiling) rather than having an adjustable one.

We didn't have breakfast, but the evening meal at the restaurant was good. Further, we were in an "Adults Only" dining area, which was great for a child friendly pub. The room had the advantage of having a bath to help soak away the travel woes of the last two weeks around the UK, and an excellent bed, which we've now taken to be the norm these days, in a comfortable room with good decor. We'd certainly go there again.
There wasn't anything we didn't like, but we've noticed a lack of laundry services everywhere we go, which can be a real pain when you're travelling for 6 weeks, and can't find anything locally. So far, we only managed in Scarborough, halfway through our tour.

Pleasant area. Good parking. Staff were friendly and efficient. The room was comfortable and clean. The meal we had in the adjacent pub was good, and the breakfasts (not included in price) were very good value. Easy bus ride into Lincoln meant we didn't have to worry about parking in the city.
Everything was very excellent and good value but the only thing was, my husband was looking forward to a nice ale but both he tried were cloudy and undrinkable. Staff apologetic but it was the same two nights running. No other complaints.

Excellent location it felt like you were staying at a country club. Accommodation was so comfortable and very quiet. I like the idea that the accommodation is set away from the pub/restaurant. The food was excellent and the staff was very polite and friendly. We enjoyed our 4 day stay, and we will definitely be booking there again.
One member of staff on the morning shift could do with a bit more training on how to speak to a member of the public, also we ran out of coffee in our room, so when I went to the pub to get some I was asked how many coffee's I'm having. That should not be asked when I paid £400. It was very hot when we went but there was no air-conditioning, it had been broken for some time but the pub owners ( Marston) are very reluctant to get it fixed

Room suited our stay for 1 night, bed comfy bathroom spotlessly clean and shower hot and powerful, plenty of fluffy towels. Site confusing didn't allow me to book 1 full and 1 continental breakfast on site but staff sorted it. Didn't like the porridge pots so unfortunately 1 spoon was enough, would prefer hot option of cooked porridge please :). Yoghurt and berries good but not offered until we asked. good selection available and cooked breakfast good for husband. Even cleaners said good morning which is nice. Easy check in check out. Plenty of parking.
Someone had removed the batteries form the remote control, we were out most of time so not that inconvenient did notify cleaner and no hanger on door for don't disturb. Pet hate of ours is that menus are always tacky ie needing a clean and the sauces dont' have use by date on them (some should be kept in fridge or once opened used within a couple of months) I've seen some places do that in Australia and Canada.

The location was good for our visit to Lincoln, with a reasonable room rate. The room size was good & the shower worked well. Similar type of room you get in a Premier inn. The reception person was helpful & friendly. We had our evening meal at the adjacent pub which was good value for money. There was plenty of parking spaces available.
The heating could be better, with it getting quite cool in the room during the night. The cooked breakfast in the adjacent pub was not that good & was not that hot or fresh looking. We would chose the continental breakfast option if we stayed again.

Good location for a short visit to Lincoln via park and ride. The surroundings were nicer than expected with a canal walk and good pub serving pub grub and good choice of drinks. The bedroom in a accommodation block had plenty of parking and was reasonably quiet at night. It would benefit from quiet closing doors on rooms. The flat screen TV was a good size. Although we did not bring children there was a small play area that was popular with children. The staff were all friendly and we enjoyed our stay.

Comfy room, extra pillows available, everything seemed clean, decent breakfast options with different prices depending on what you wanted, bathroom was fine, lots of parking, a really nice pub (the Pyewipe) within walking distance if you don't want the Marston's pub grub, situated on the canal / river, very short drive from the centre of Lincoln.
No lift. The hotel is a short walk from the reception which is in the pub. There's a large RECEPTION sign on the wall of the hotel, but be warned because it is a trick. Once you walk over to it, in small letters under RECEPTION, it says "at the bar", which is in the opposite direction.
