The staff were incredibly approachable, professional, and friendly. Our room was cozy and offered stunning views to the mountains. A lovely touch was the beautiful hardwood floor and walls in the bathroom. Very reasonable pet fee. The location was perfect - quiet and peaceful, yet just a 10-minute walk to town.

The bed was a letdown - the mattress was too soft and sunken, making for an uncomfortable night's sleep. The outside light for our room was a bit too bright, which also affected our sleep.

Very comfortable bed; large night tables on both sides of the bed. Room was a little small for all our luggage and belongings. Appreciated the microwave and fridge with large freezer. Coffee maker worked well, although it was set up in the bathroom. Staff gave us extra coffee the second day and housekeeping came in to make the bed and empty the garbages. One of the staff gave us a good suggestion to stop at Fletcher Falls on our way to Kaslo.

The size of room I booked meant we had to go up a set of stairs, which was disappointing but we managed. Fellows in the room next to us had their TV on loud fairly late at night (not very considerate). The second night was quiet.

Okay, first off if you don't read everything just know that this was one of the best motels I have ever stayed in. I travel each summer for photography get aways and this was one of the best places I have ever encountered. The room was nice, the staff pleasant, the parking simple, the air conditioning amazing and without a doubt, the most comfortable bed I have ever slept on.

There were a few things I should point out that were not perfect but easily fixable. - My biggest pet peeve from hotels: cheap toilet paper. Not the worst, but paying a little extra for the good stuff goes along way. - The coffee maker had a puddle underneath and the mugs were dirty. - Minimal desk space: The desk could be bigger as there was just a bed and a chair otherwise. Many of us these days bring laptops and electronics and with the coffee maker already on it there was little room for anything else.

The room was nicely furnished , looked recently updated.Larger sized bar style fridge with separate freezer compartment was a nice surprise. There is also a microwave, water glasses and coffee maker. Bed was very comfortable with good quality linens and pillows The blackout curtains worked well and the Inn was very quiet. It was very clean and relaxing. Not a far walk to the downtown area. The price was a real deal!

Maybe a few more plug- ins to charge electronic devices. They were a little hard to locate .

This is our go to in Nelson. For a motel this has everything you need. Beds and pillows are the most comfortable with nice bedding. Small kitchenette that more than does the job. The bed and sheets were first class. The flowers in the courtyard were beautiful. Very welcoming. The front desk Man was friendly and helpful. Walked me to my room.

I requested a quiet room (to rest and nap) and children staying at the hotel ran around the building screaming, after 90 minutes I complained, the front desk said, “they’re just children.” The hotel was packed and they had their money.

Could have been closer to downtown but he peace and quiet is worth it along with the view. TV was a bit small and flipping through the guide was laggy bit otherwise OK.

The outside was so much cuter than I expected and inside the room was larger than expected. I also didn't realize there would be a stove/oven in addition to the microwave so that was a nice surprise! The shower was really nice too. We would definitely revisit in the future!

We were happy with everything

We usually never stay in Motels during our trips, but this was the best value for the money and the cheapest option in Nelson at our time (October 2023). Very clean bedding and room that seems to have been renovated recently. Newer and very quiet fridge that doesn't make awful noise at night... We had a great sleep.

Not as a negative, but very small room with little space to put your things (just 2-3 feet on each side of the bed to the wall). We knew it was smaller, as it is mentioned in the description so it is not a complaint but rather an observation.

Very close to White Water ski resort (20 minutes drive away) And nice and close to useful things like groceries, gas, restaurants etc… The staff were really helpful and friendly
