The first thing I noticed was how clean the building smelled! Not overly chemically, just fresh. It was so quiet, we stayed on July 4th night and I didn’t hear any other guests at all. The bed was SO comfortable and the pillows were pretty good. The young woman at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. Can’t comment on breakfast as we ate elsewhere but it did smell hot and fresh. Close proximity to the highway. The giant castle next door made for interesting conversation. We’ll definitely stay again!

The floor of the shower had some grime on it, whatever material it was made of doesn’t lend itself to cleaning well so it was pretty stained but it clearly wasn’t for a lack of trying on the cleaning staff’s part. There was a little gunky build up on the sliding door with a couple hairs and the shower handle was opposite the opening of the door, so you had to get a little wet to turn on the shower. TV remote buttons were a bit hard to use. Very minor inconveniences.

The breakfast was delicious it was nice and quiet and for the most part clean in our room 👌🙂

As I stated above for the most part our sweet was clean however some of the walls were very dirty with food stains and dirt and also in the bathroom something was all over the wall by the toilet paper roll I don't even want to know what it was make sure you clean your walls with bleach and pinesol it makes for a way better experience and a clean hotel room dirty walls alone can ruin it also I didn't like the fact that there was no bathtub I paid a lot of money for one night there $300 I wasn't able to soak and they didn't have a hot tub any longer at the pool area so that sucked! Oh and one of my pillow cases was nasty dirty but the lady at the front desk was very kind and give me a clean pillowcase right away but these are things that should always be changed from one guest to the next 🙂

Was a good hotel.

What I didn’t like about the property was u had to put a deposit for the room . They would not take cash and was no mention of a deposit in booking.com .. I drove three hours and almost didn’t stay because of that . Then when I wanted to put the deposit on a different card the hotel wasn’t going to do it . It was very frustrating after along drive and was not happy with the . Person at the front desk after calling the manager and waiting they finnly decided todo it but it would have been nice to know that up front . It hotels require a deposit and won’t take cash it would be nice to know up front on the website. I have used booking.com for hotels and stays all over this was the first time but would like to know up front .

The room was great! Clean and big, was able to plug in Playstation, it was quiet, everyone was nice, everything worked, hot tub and pool were perfect Temps, the bed was more comfortable than most hotel beds and I dont often find many beds that are comfortable due to chronic pain usually im tossing and turning even in my own bed but there were only a couple times I found myself having to move around a litte cuz my hips were hurting, even the couch bed was fairly comfortable for what it is and we only layed on it to watch tv at night before heading to bed. Plenty of pillows and sheets for the couch bed. Extra pillow cases. It's the best hotel iv stayed at in a long time and at that price I definitely would go back this will be my go to grand rapids cheep hotel. Breakfast was good eggs, sausage, waffles, bagles, toast, cereal, juice, a decent selection of food and spreads all for free and it was still hot an hr before end of Breakfast. The AC and heat worked great, the AC worked so good even in 90°F weather. It said online that the hot tub wouldnt be running but to my surprise it was perfect temp and the bubbles were nice and strong. I honestly did not want to leave if I had the money I would have lived there. The fitness center has a tv and free weights.

The pool is a bit shallow only goes to 5ft and I'm 5'3 it didn't even come up to my chin at the deepest part. Wish I could have brought my cat.

Breakfast was SUPERB! Hot eggs, protein, waffles, potatoes or biscuits and gravy, and the usual yogurt, fruit, cereal, etc. Also really loved having access to a washer and dryer that we could use since we were staying for multiple days and enjoyed running at the nearby Johnson Park and Millennium Park trails. The location of this hotel is right by a freeway to get to downtown Grand Rapids or any other area, with amenities nearby.

This was the second time my husband and I stayed at the hotel because we are moving to the area. The good tasting breakfast offered several choices and was served hot and fresh. Each day, something new and different was served and there was a good variety. The staff kept track if something was running low and was very prompt in bringing out more for the guests. The reception staff was very friendly and ready to assist in any way. I appreciate getting a good sleep and a good shower in a clean, comfortable, and quiet room.

The shower was very spacious and the room was organized very well. The continental breakfast was nice as well. Everything was well stocked and area kept clean.

The only thing i wasn’t the biggest fan of was the bathroom barn door. It was a good 3/4 of an inch away from the wall and didn’t lock, which is fine if you’re alone in the room. But offered little privacy to anyone who might be bathroom shy.

It was easily accessible from the highway. The pool was great for families. The continental breakfast was delicious and had different warm options all three mornings we stayed. The room set up was really nice. We had a pull out bed, a fridge and microwave in the room, which made it easy to be comfortable. There are a lot of food options in the area, close to a lot of parks, the zoo and family activities.

We chose this hotel for its location, as we went to Grand Rapids for a concert at the Van Andel arena. It was perfect! Just a short drive into town. Country Inn was everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Warm atmosphere ( thank you Johanne!), very clean and cozy, great room, comfy bed, delicious hot breakfast, pool & spa! Even a late check out so we could avoid the icy morning road conditions. We'll definitely stay again when in the area.

Location, ease of check in and check out, parking

The bathroom door lock was not functioning, the shower door made a horrible screech when opening, the bathroom setup was uncomfortable (shower and toilet in one area, sink and mirror in another) no where to put you clothes when you shower.
