I totally like the location of the place. I stayed there for 3 nights. Just a minute walk to the beach ⛱️ Bandit (the host) is a gem. He always welcomes us with a genuine smile, and he is quite a generous person. The place was a safe and convenient one for a solo traveller like me. If you are looking for a Kampung (village) experience, this is the right place to stay. There is a working place and a community space for the guests. There are a few super friendly cats 🐈 over there. Had breakfast there, which is so good. I went there looking for an island lifestyle to read and complete my assignments while relaxing. I definitely recommend this humble place to relax and enjoy the tropical weather.

One of the best places on this planet. I selfishly want to keep the secret of this place to ourselves, but I have to advise people to come and stay there. If you're coming to Lipe, this is the place to be. The bungalows are absolutely insane, you'll find everything you need. The restaurant is absolutely crazy. The chef is incredible and is always coming up with delicious ideas. We were supposed to stay 3 nights and ended up staying 10 days... just goes to show you how this place ticks all the boxes. You can chill out or go on an expedition to do whatever you want. The staff will take you to the most secret and incredible spots. Speaking of the staff.... I can't tell you how much we've fallen in love with the owners of HideAway. Two amazing people who made us feel at home. We wanted to stay forever... don't hesitate for a second to book this magical place. Believe me. Thank you again ❤️

The rooms face into a beautiful lush garden which I really enjoyed, and I loved the little terrace and hanging out in my hammock - it was very relaxing and also a nice way to meet your neighbours. The property has a separate cafe which I only ate at once but it was nice. The two guys that run the property (so sorry I’ve forgotten names!) were super friendly and welcoming, and kindly let me extend my trip by two nights because I loved my stay so much. Your also five minute walk to some of the most beautiful beaches - I would definitely stay here again. Thank you Hideaway :)

The only thing I struggle with (which happens in any hot climate!) are the bugs and mosquitos. There are a lot of them so make sure you have spray - the rooms have mosquito nets though and you definitely need them there!

I love the location. I was looking for somewhere close to Sunrise Beach and the Hideaway is a 1-minute walk to Sunrise. It is quiet area and not busy like Sunset Beach where we got down and went through immigration etc. Hideaway serves healthy breakfast with generous portion. There's good coffee and the staff are super friendly and accommodating. The housekeeping keeps the property clean regularly.

I stayed at the dorm. The bed was fine, however the bathroom could be better. Maybe regularly clear previous guests leftover shampoo etc. Also, I would walk on the sand barefooted, but somehow I did not feel like entering bathroom with bare feet. That kind of feeling.

Rooms were very cozy and served its purpose. The fan was also very strong. Staff were exceptional and awesome. Cute cats and free water as well. That there is a hose to wash your feet at the entrance of each room was a very welcome touch.

There were some issues locking the door to my room. Though there was a mosquito net provided, I still got bitten at night and woke up to some bad mosquito bites. This could also be due to me not setting up the net properly. I would recommend putting extra bug spray on your body as an extra precaution.

I don't even know where to start🌞 Arriving to this place after we got through the immigration office (which was really something special) we came HOME. Welcoming staff that served cold drinks for us directly after arrival with a big smile. We booked two rooms because family rooms were already fully booked and we were very happy with our choice. Simple but perfect, all you need when you come on an island like this one. Very clean, comfortable bed with a good mosquito net, but having the fan on we didn't really have a problem with it. The common area is great. They serve a very nice breakfast (nice choices from toast with avocado and egg, yogurt with granola and fresh fruit or pancakes...always good when you travel with kids). The staff was amazing and made us feel like home from the first moment. ARIS (one of the owners) organized a private snorkeling tour to places where no other tourists were and trust me, that is what you want when you come here in main season. We have seen a lot if fish while snorkeling including the muray eel, giant pufferfish, nemo and dorry, sea snake (not sure what its really called). He organizes also sunset boat trip and you should not miss the snorkeling or the sunset. This beautiful Hideway place is literally 1 min walk from the sunrise beach and I went 3 times to see and it was very beautiful. We even joined Aris and Clement to the OMG restaurant that we truly loved and our kids too. If you need to lay back, chill, enjoy the surroundings than don't look further, you will live the wibe. People that complain about mosquito's should stay at home and not travel or used the repellent that Aris placed free everywhere and you can use it any time you need. We loved it, one of our most favorite places in the world and trust me, we are coming back.

That we had to leave, we really should haved stayed for a week minimum and not just 4 nights.

The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, always checking in to see if we needed anything and offering great recommendations. The food at the café was delicious, and the coffee even came with cute latte art, which was a nice touch. The location is also perfect—just 100 meters from Sunset Beach, offering a peaceful atmosphere away from the noise, yet still close to great food options and within walking distance of the main Walking Street. We loved the friendly cats making cute poses for pictures ;)

The beds in the dormitory were a bit on the hard side, and the rubber bedsheet used to protect the mattress made it slightly uncomfortable and noisy. Also, there were some bugs and mosquitoes, but that’s to be expected on a tropical island. Price for dorm room was a bit expensive but the island was fully sold out so that explains the price. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay and would recommend this hostel to anyone looking for a well-located and friendly place in Koh Lipe!

One of the best bungalows I had during my trip! The cafe and common area are also very nice and cozy. I loved the little details in the design of everything, it was so pretty and you can feel that a lot of heart has been put into the place. All the staff were beyond friendly (special thanks to Azie, who is just such a sweet heart and warm personality). The fur employees were also super cute and friendly too (not as cuddly as I wished) I had a great time here and wish I could extend even more than I did. Also the location at sunrise beach was perfect, close to walking street and beach with taxi boats to explore surrounding islands.

Being on an island you sometimes have to deal with little insects.

The location was right on Sunrise Beach/close to my dive school. The property was kept very clean. Room decor was simple but satisfied all the needs. Public amenities were very nice.

The restaurant inside the hotel said the opening hour was 8am to 4pm. When I ordered a cup of coffee at 8:10, they told me the machine was still heating up and it would take 30mins to make the coffee. The staff was very apologetic, but it would be nice if I could order a coffee before the meetup time for diving. An alternative is to change the opening hour to 9am.

Cute little place with a lot of greenery and a perfect chilling atmosphere. Great location: only 2 mins to the beach and a few more to town. The staff and owners were exceptionally friendly and helpful, made our stay much more enjoyable.

2 tiny things: Thin walls: you can literally hear your neighbours chatting and ;), sometimes can be noisy. But it seems they also have some private bungalows for more peace and quiet option. The water has had some smell, but only on our second day of stay, so i guess it was just a temporary hiccup.
