The staff was very kind, the room clean, and the bed comfortable. I had some problems with the lack of air conditioning (given that I was there when it was 41 degrees Celsius) - but this is a common issue in France, in general (they can't install AC because of the "historical" character of some buildings). The wi-fi worked well on the first floor where my room was and also in the garden - which was wonderful, by the way! You're a little over 1km away from the train station and within walking distance of the downtown area. Breakfast was really good and fulfilling - not super diverse, but you could tell the quality of the ingredients was really top-notch!

There is no elevator, but the staff offers to help with the luggage if needed. The single room is really small (again, a common occurrence in France), and the view was, sadly, nonexistent (it was towards a wall). I've already mentioned the lack of AC (which applies to the whole building), but they placed a small fan in the room to try and make up for it. There was no bin in the bathroom, only a small wicker one in the room, which was quite odd and not very useful.

Loved the hotel, the building has so much character inside and out. You can reserve a parking space in the interior courtyard. The hotel is a 5 minute walk from the main square and shops, cafes and restaurants. Staff were super friendly and helpful, nice breakfast, comfy beds.

Maybe a kettle in the room for us English people that like a cup of tea as soon as we get up. But the reception staff were very kind when I went down and asked for a cup of tea which they provided me with.

We loved the room in this "old fashioned" French hotel with very high ceilings, large windows opening onto a courtyard with fragrant Jasmine flowers in bloom. The location is right in the center of town, easy access to the tramlines, pedestrian zone and restaurants. The bed was excellent, the bathroom was modern and clean. The breakfast was very generous and the staff friendly and helpful.

It would be nice to have more electrical outlets in the room. We were on the first floor and could easily walk up a flight of stairs. There was no elevator for someone with mobility challenges. There may have been a room on the groundfloor for a handicapped person, the groundfloor restroom was accessible.

Breakfast was OK, but not outstanding and when we arrived in the dining room there were no tables free. The staff member suggested we sit outside, which was OK, but it had rained v heavily the night before and the wooden chairs were damp. After some prompting, she did provide cushions. I do wonder where we would have had breakfast if it still been raining or too cool to sit out.

Lovely staff. Breakfast fresh , bed comfy. What more do you need? Xtra car parking spaces would be good. I booked but was told after no spaces left in the car park and to park 5 mins away. I chose the hotel because it had private parking . So be sure to check first! As it happened I squeezed the car into a non spot and they let me keep it there so I was happy in the end!

The location is perfect. A quiet street 5 minutes' walk from the Hotel de Ville for transport or from the Ralliement square and its restaurants, 7 minutes' walk from Angers St Laud train station. The house looks like a small Manor House. We were warmly greeted at reception. Our room was spacious, freshly painted and spotlessly clean with a large and comfortable double bed, modern toilet and bathroom with shower. I can't comment on the breakfast as we had it in town. We would definitely stay here again.

The staff was very helpful. The location was great. Hotel is charming, room nicely decorated and functional. We were on a motorbike and could park in the courtyard for a fee (no booking, limited spaces).

The room was slightly small. There was no aircon and it was quite warm, but there was a fan which helped keep us cool during the night.

Managed to secure a limited parking spot within the courtyard which was one of seven spaces. We were offered a ground floor room as I was in crutches so that was very thoughtful and most welcome. Room was large and airy and with a very stylish French decor. Lovely breakfast with plenty of choices.

Superb location, quiet but easy walk to the town centre, full of character and great to have off street parking. Especially enjoyed our late night glass of wine in the lovely courtyard under the trees. Staff were super helpful and friendly

Wonderful boutique hotel with great services and staff throughout. Central location makes it very convenient for a large array of cafes and restaurants. Continental breakfast is all you could expect and more. A wide selection of goodies to pick from. Simply put, could not be any better… quality throughout, warm and inviting. Highly recommend!
