The location is perfect for us, right in the hustle and bussel of the town bars and music. Minutes walk from the main shops.

Air conditioning in both our rooms did not work and couldn’t be fixed, this seems to be an ongoing problem. We ended up buying a fan but as the temperature when we were there was in the high twenty’s it was just moving hot air around.

I booked last minute, hence I had to take the last room available which has three beds when I only needed two. The staff was super friendly and helpful. My friend and I love the location the most. It is in the heart of Aix, right behind Cours Maribeau (main street), and within walking distance to all the shops and restaurants that we want to eat at. The property is old and some areas (staircase, entrance, bedroom) could use some renovation. That said, our bathroom was very clean and spacious, and the location is the best. We paid premium price for the location. We are happy with this hotel.

The staircase is too old and dirty. The front desk area can use a facelift.

The room was beautifully decorated. We were located on the second floor with beautiful trees outside our window. We overlooked a fountain and the restaurants and shops that were literally steps away from our building. The train station was less than a 10 minute walk from the hotel. There was a kettle and tea and coffee in the room as well as a fridge with bottled water. The bathroom was large and had a full length mirror. Although the hotel is located in a busy are, it was surprisingly quiet in the room for a Saturday night. The breakfast was in a beautiful room downstairs. There, we found a generous self serve selection of numerous French breakfast items.

The staff and ambiance exceeded our expectations. We don't have any complaints.

Location is a must of course since at the beginning of the "historical" and "lively" area of Aix. I got a room at the back so noise from nearby Pubs/restaurants/people was clearly not an issue. It was also very close to transportation which is also a bonus. Staff was friendly and helpful. Room was adequate considering the price but one notices that the hotel building as a whole is rather old by now (but everything worked in my bedroom, no complain whatsoever except for Wifi...)

Clearly the Wifi is not stable enough or bandwidth is insufficient. After 7-8pm it was impossible to maintain a stable connection for more than a minute. I would loose connection on my Skype call (even with just audio) for 10-15 seconds....back up again....1 minute and then interrupted again (0kb/s of incoming traffic) then back up again and so on. Unsure why but it was not that critical (i would just choose different timings or use my 5G instead...) otherwise i would clearly have nagged the staff.

Perfectly situated in the Aix old city. Although there are bars and restaurants with tables outside on the street the hotel is miraculously quiet. The minute the main sliding door shuts close - you can't hear a thing. Our room had a window facing the opposite side of the street so it was quiet. We didn't try the breakfast the hotel offers because there are many patisseries around.. Water in the shower is hot and strong.

It has no parking. The closest parking is rotonda. There's always a place. You pay by the hour. For an overnight we paid 13-16 euros, depends how late we slept... Walls between the rooms are not noise proof. But that wasn't a problem during the night.

hotel is very central to everything. literally just outside the front door there are bars, coffee shops restaurants and beautiful places to walk around in the old city. we only stayed one night in this hotel and it was perfect for what we needed. The carpet on the stairs is very old and worn and could do with being changed or at least deep cleaned. The lift was out of order when we arrived but it was quickly fixed. The bedroom we had was quite big, clean and the bathroom was on the small side, but perfect and clean. The soundproof windows were ideal as there is a lot of activity outside.

I had read that becasue the hotel was close to bars and restaurants it might have been a bit noisy later at night, but the rooms had double glazing windows so had a great sleep.

Only the breakfast, it was very basic but just around a corner we got breakfast each morning so no real issue.

The location of this hotel is phenomenal. Right there near the Rotonde. Tons of good restaurants, shops, the big Mirabeau market and the Tourist Office are steps away. The staff is super helpful and nice. They all speak English. The bed was very comfortable and we loved the strong hot shower after long travel.

There was a policy on the air conditioning. It was set at 25 celcius and could not go lower. With the extreme heat outside, the room was tolerable but we would have liked for it to be cooler at night for better sleeping.

It was very hot in Aix while I was there. My room was too hot for me at night even with the air conditioning in my room. Would have liked some fresh fruit at breakfast.

Location was in the heart of everything. Almost too close to the action. Luckily the live music from the pub directly below our window stopped at 10pm. Revelers, however, continued on to about 5am…bank holiday. Some problem with the room phone…it didn’t work.

Breakfast was a little sketchy, but edible!not sure how many guests were at the hotel. Warning, local restaurants don’t serve dinner until after 7pm….just libations.
