It was like stepping back in time to a more simple life. Rooms were very clean. Staff was remarkable and very accommodating. Great value! Although not modernized, everything we needed was there. Charging stations set next to the old school phone(attached by a cord) retro alarm clock had charge outlets on the top. The courtyard were full of blooming flowers with the sweet surprises of playful statues along the paths and to your rooms. Gazebos placed around the courtyard for rest and relaxation were a nice touch. Although the weather was not conducive to the use during our stay; the pool was very inviting and clean.
Nothing. Loved it!

This was the first time the young kids experienced a motel instead of a hotel. Even they liked it. They love the pool. We wanted to spend some time in Niagara and Buffalo and this location was convenient for both. The staff was super helpful. The maintenance man even checked that the pool was okay while we were swimming. We had plenty of space for four people. After a rainy night we used the electric fireplace. I would absolutely go back to this hotel. The flowers and the statues were a nice touch.
Not much really. The most negative thing I could say is one night all the parking spots were filled near our room and we had to park by the gazebo. But that's certainly not enough to detract from the stay overall.

Location. History. Exterior architecture. The staff was friendly. The A/C worked great. The bedroom was very clean. Plenty of lighting. Had an iron/board and hairdryer and a rack to hang clothes.
Carpet in the bathroom-gross. Also the caulk on the tub needs to be redone. Shelves on the wall above the toilet or above the towel rack, or inside the vanity would be helpful since there’s not much space around the sink.

Nicest staff and clean beyond clean and quiet! This place has everything free coffee in room and in front office, newspapers available as well as fridge/freezer andlots of towels and amenities, microwave in room large bathroom, lots of mirrors too. Parking in front of rooms ac and fans. Most comfy bed ever! Also great outdoor atmosphere outside even a chair by each room as well as many flowers and landscaping was beautful very close to the main drag of town. Highly recommend!!!
Nothing 100% hands down best pkace I've stayed at in a long time with friendly staff and super clean rooms

The staff was very friendly, and helpful. The room was exceptionally clean and comfortable. The location was quiet and convenient, as we prefer. Overall, a top notch place to stay. Would definitely recommend and will stay again if ever in the area again.
The shower head was a little low. I had to keep ducking down to wash the top half of my body. It was not a problem for me, but I have Family members that are 6'4" and this would be a little inconvenient. They were not with me so no harm, but thought i'd mention it.

Very friendly, helpful staff. We were offered the chance to upgrade to a larger room for a reduced price, which we took. As a result, we were upgraded to an even larger room, which was lovely and quiet. The whole complex was lovely. We were an easy drive down to the locks. We booked here as we wanted to visit Niagara bit didn't want to stay in Niagara itself. It was an easy drive of ~35 minutes over to the falls themselves. Very nice pool area.

Always accommodating. We like to stay here when we visit family. Room seems bigger than your chain hotels. Even talked to another guest who said this was the cleanest room they have ever stayed in. We agreed and said this wasn’t our first time. Quiet property too. You can tell the owners take care of this establishment with pride.

Very conveniently located, if you want to go to Niagara Falls and avoid the hussle and bussle (and prices) of the town itself. Staff was friendly. A good few shops and gas stations close by. Shower could be removed from wall! Good-sized room and good value for money..
Carpeted floor that probably wasn't cleaned properly underneath the beds. Waste bins a bit small. The ravages of time have obviously taken their toll on the entire complex - but it also had its very own charms.

One of the best stays I have had in a very long time. Everyone who works there really cares about this place. It is family owned by great local people who know how to take care of the people and the property. I was pleasantly surprised. Very clean. Very warm very quiet and extremely nice people. They even wiped all the snow off my car!!!! I love this place!!!
My stay wasn’t long enough. lol.

This is a basic old fashioned motel where you park in front of your door. I love that more than anything! They provide coffee. No breakfast. The place is very beautiful, charming and clean. The beds were VERY comfortable. There was a lovely, clean swimming pool but it was not warm enough weather to tempt me. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The location was excellent. We were visiting the Niagara Falls area and preferred this quiet small town of Lockport to staying in the Buffalo area. It was an easy 40 minute drive to the falls area. There are lots of restaurants to choose from (definitely try Kalamata just down the street). I would definitely recommend this motel to anyone traveling in the area.
This is an older facility so there is a certain level of mustiness about the rooms that no amount of cleaning and perfuming can eradicate. I knew I was booking in an old establishment so was aware of that likelihood going in. No complaints.
