It was on the main road but room was quiet, also next to 7/11 and other supermarket. Room was large and air con worked very well. Liked that they left toilet roll, water and tea/coffee in a plastic bag hanging from door handle when you choose not to have room cleaned. Nice balcony with chairs and a table. Safe, kettle, fridge. Was clean.

The bathroom was a wet room but the shower head holder didn't move, so everything in the bathroom got soaked. They could do with a different holder so you could position it better. The stairs could be an issue for some people. Would have liked two pillows each.

Really good location, in a quiet place, 10 minutes walk away from Karon beach, which is a really nice beach. Plenty of places nearby to eat and drink and get a massage. I've been travelling for almost 1 year now and this was maybe the most comfortable bed I've slept in so far. However, what was most amazing was the staff. They are so friendly and quick and eager to help with absolutely anything. I lost my phone after a night of drinking. I had a tracking app to see where it was, so I went to reception to ask for a taxi. They ended up taking loads of time out of their day to take me to the police station and talk to them for me, before we all went to the location and got my phone back. I genuinely feel unworthy of this level of generosity and couldn't possibly thank them enough. Amazing place. Amazing people. Thank you.

The room was big with great natural light, staff was also kind and would clean the room every day bringing new towels, coffee and toilet paper. If you have a scooter, you can easily go to the beach in Karon and Patong. Excellent value for money.

The experience would be a 10/10 if it was not the fact that we did early check out and they did not have the 20 dollars I have as deposit. So they gave me the money back in thai baht which made me lose a few dollars in the conversion at the airport. So, make sure to give your deposit in baht or make it clear when you are leaving so they won’t take your money anywhere.

Scooter rental a few doors down. - comfortable bed, air con, hot water - kettle and tea and coffee provided - bottled water provided daily - room can be cleaned daily if you wish - we were given homemade biscuits which was a lovely touch - we had to check out early and completely forgot our key deposit, they helped arrange with the property we arrived at to send the money to their account and they give us the cash. They went out of the way to do this and it was really appreciated!

We loved our stay here at May House!. May and her family are beautiful, kind, thoughtful people who we connected with and now are so happy to call our friends! They know the area very well and are always willing to help with any suggestions or advice. The hotel is well located in the center of Karon, near restaurants, cafes, spas and bars. The beach is also very close, about 5-10 minutes walk. The hotel room was spacious, cleaned frequently, had a balcony with Mountain View, and a very large, comfortable bed. It came with a kettle, refrigerator, and complimentary water and coffee everyday. If you stay in Phuket, we recommend staying at May House! They went above and beyond to give us the most memorable experience, and we really appreciate everything they did for us. Thank you May! :)

Nothing. It was perfect.

The property is located away from the main hustle and bustle of the Karon Beach yet still walkable (10min) Therefore, you can still access all the places come back to the hotel and get a good sleep. Rooms were very clean. Check-in was smooth as well. There is a self-service coin laundry next to the hotel which was handy and so many restaurants and convenience stores were around.

Rooms were spacious and very clean. The family running this place is amazing and helpful. Location is close to the beach and good places to eat are close. The travel agent downstairs is also super helpful. I highly recommend staying here

The staff was very kind. Good restaurant on the first floor. Big room. Bed is huge. Internet is also good(speed was about 8mb/s but connection was very stable) Comfortable table.

All big rooms have a mountain view (view is good btw), but there is a road between hotel and mountain. Therefore all big rooms are quite noisy at night.

Was staying in room 27: no noice from the road, the loudest was AC unit installed on the balcony. No view: too close to other building. Nice location for a walker type of person

Staff was absolutely nice, amazing, funny and helpful. It will be hard for any other accomodation place in the future to top this. Rooms were simple, had everything you would need and were very clean. Balcony was a huge plus. The restaurant at the reception served delicious food. We thought we will dine at different places every night but ended up eating at May House almost every day (sometimes multiple times a day). Huge plus was a cheap laundry service which we used two times during our stay. Can't say one bad thing, would recommend to everyone, would return!
