The manners the staff had and friendliness in their behaviour, they were warm and welcoming while being incredibly professional. The view was wonderful and the accommodation was beyond wonderful. Looking forward to go back to this amazing place, truly! I highly recommend the dinner, although the breakfast was also wonderful, the dinner was beyond expectation, as a very picky eater there was not a single thing I didn't like.

My partner had the vegetarian options for dinner, I would have appreciated her experience to be as great as my own, I believe there was an omelette (if I'm not mistaken) that did not quite meet the same level as her starter. This is not to say that it was not good, simply that I imagine that for my partner the overall experience was 9.99 out of 10, whereas mine was truly a 10 out of 10.

The view and ambience. we did have the best room in the hotel....middle upper level....room 305....it was large and very well designed. The pool, garden hot tub pool. friendly and helpful wait staff. free coffee and cake every arvo on the terrace.

Reception staff not very helpful giving advice on what to do and what to see from a first time visitor to the area. Should not have to prob the staff to find out what to do.

Niece hotel with beautiful views of the city of Spiez. We enjoyed the hotel. There are different kinds of rooms. We stayed in the main building. One room with a balcony and view of the lake and one with a balcony and view of the mountains. Both rooms had high ceilings, natural light, comfy beds and pillows, and clean bathrooms. We liked our rooms: no air conditioning but no need for it. We just opened the windows, and plenty of airflows. The restaurants were good. The food was good, and the service was good—lots of attention to detail. We also enjoyed the spa. They have several saunas, one pool, and a giant whirlpool. But our favorite was the barrel sauna outside, which has a window to look out to the lake and the little town. To get to the private lake beach, you must walk several steps down and pass some houses. But it is worth it. We loved swimming in the lake. They have a shower and bathroom down at the lake. And the hotel provides you with beach bag essentials—plenty of spaces to relax and enjoy reading a book. We also rented electric bikes. They are excellent bikes. The front desk employees will suggest you good bike rides. We tried to rent the boat twice, but no luck. One time was due to the ship not having light, boats could not go out without a light after 5 pm, and the other was terrible weather. It was a bummer. But that didn't spoil our time at the hotel because we had plenty to enjoy. Arriving at the hotel. Suppose you don't have a car and are coming to Spiez by train. Call the hotel, and they will provide you with transportation. Either a taxi which they will pay for, or send a van. We enjoyed our stay at the hotel.

Spa area was better than expected. Very friendly and kind staff. The views from hotel of Lake Thun are great. Relaxing stay. A 15 minute walk to Speiz Station. Hotel provides free shuttle service to and from local train station on day of arrival and departure. Free coffee and cake during the stay. It is 20minutes on the train to Interlaken. Would recommend this place to stay. Also a great base to visit other areas.

The family room have enough space for small family 2 adults and 2 kids , Location and the view every morning , the self cleaning separate toilet in the room is great addition where you don’t need additional Shattaf . The spa and the swimming pool with a view , easy access and great supported staff and team Design is warm and luxurious , family friendly and very clean quiet area with a lot of restaurant choices around

The coffee choices can be better it will add value to some guests who likes black coffee in the morning or afternoon The breakfast buffet options can be improved as I stayed for 5 nights with the same dishes . Room service have limited options when required

Amazing balcony, could not say more than 10/10 service and hospitality. Wonderful keep going on that. We will say boujee amazing!

Looks like some part of Chxxese group there. They really make some noise about this kind of nice place. Very peace of environment but they just too noisy with they speak. Please make sure if you really want high quality client to live here.

Excellent hotel- we enjoyed the pool and spa area, excellent breakfast, friendly and helpful staff. The parking was expensive but necessary.

In general- there were not many things we didn't like- we really enjoyed our time here. however- on several occasions there were people in the spa area who didn't respect usual spa behavior- children were running around, entering the adult-only area, and making a lot of noise. There were no hotel staff around to take care of this. My tip- to avoid this type of people- go early in the morning. -Another elevator would be useful- we sometimes had to wait for a long time. -It's a long descent to the lake, if you want to swim there. For me it was OK, but for older people, it can be a problem.

I've been here several times... and keep coming back. Why? Well, it's simply wonderful. If you need to get away from it all for a few days... relax, enjoy great food, fabulous views... Then, this is the place to go. Spend the day in the spa (hot pools inside and outside, steam rooms and saunas with different essential oils) go for a walk downtown to the castle or to next door Fraulensee, take the car to Bern, up the Simental to Gstaad, along the lake to Interlaken, up the mountain to Grindelwald. There is so much to do. Do book at least one evening meal at the restaurant where you must try the Tunersee Bouillabaisse!!!

I can't think of a thing that I did not like. Now, it is a fairly pricey adventure. What do you expect from a 5* hotel.
