The property itself was very quiet when we were there in May. The room was nice, and well equipped. The pool smaller than what appeared in the photos and while it was out of town they offered a very helpful driver system to town and close by places. Very helpful staff as we were unwell during our stay.

The steps. I have to mention this, as for anyone who doesn’t do well with lots of stairs make sure you book on restaurant level as they caused me an issue. No spa was disappointing but we were ill during the visit so not sure we would have used it anyway. A little bit too far out of town so you can’t just walk in, you need driver.

The pool was incredible and the bedrooms are spacious and comfortable. The staff were kind and helpful - they made our stay very special with their friendliness. The breakfast was exceptional with lots of choice - buffet and a menu. Overall, an amazing stay and would definitely come back.

The tv didn’t work so it needs a fire stick so you can access your account. Food was delicious but maybe a bit too high end especially for room service. The pool menu was excellent which we felt could have been the room service menu too.

Pool and Outdoor Deck - Best Part! We booked this hotel specifically for the pool. We knew we wanted lounging time and it exceeded our expectations. Beautiful space with plenty of lounge chairs and an awesome view of the city. Room - Comfortable bed! Big space with balcony overlooking pool and view. We had a problem with our AC and they fixed it immediately. Nice and dark! Breakfast - great! Buffet and ala carte options with super friendly staff Location - A bit far from the old town (30 minute walk), but we knew this going in, so not a problem. They provide a shuttle into town and helped us rent motorbikes.

Kiridara is set in a beautiful location, facing Mount Phousi. The scenery is stunning and serene - despite not being very far from the main town. The highlight is the infinity pool overlooking the mountains. Our room was very spacious and prettily decorated, with a nice shower and a very comfortable bed. The breakfast was quite good, with many options including for vegetarians, and the restaurant staff were helpful. The rest of the staff, a little less...

There is a free shuttle into town, which is very helpful, but the last time for pick up in the evening seems to be a little ad hoc.

Very good and varied breakfast buffet, which could be supplemented with a la carte orders. Especially the passion fruit jam was delicious. The hotel is located just outside of Luang Prabang (20 minutes walk from the night market) and offers a great view of Phousi Hill and the city. We often used the hotel's free shuttle service to and from town or rode the hotel's bicycles the short distance. The room was very clean and well decorated. We often enjoyed the quiet pool area.

The hotel offers free rentals to its guests. However, most of the bikes are in bad condition and would require maintenance. The gears did not work and the lights were missing. Also, we would have appreciated a little more friendliness from the Lao staff. The manager and the receptionist (both French expats I guess) were very friendly and helpful.

Staff from breakfast room was always great! Breakfast was also nice. Room was spacious. Pool area was quite nice and always had chairs available. Transport to and from town was a good perk.

Staff in the pool wasn’t nice at all. I had a small gecko 🦎 in the room one of the days (nothing to do with cleaning - room was Always very clean - but probably doors need a review on isolation from outside (with the climate and some vegetation, there’s no way to avoid this on the outside and that’s fine). A bit far from center.

The hotel itself is beautifully set on a mountain just outside the city centre. It has a gorgeous pool and such spacious rooms. Loved the separate toilet and shower. As I had a corner room I had a spectacular view of the city. The staff is super friendly and very helpful. I fully enjoyed the breakfast every day as it had, besides a small buffet, many a la cart options which were freshly made. You don’t see that often so that was for me a big plus. As it’s not in the heart of the city it has a free shuttle that runs. We used it a lot or took a tuktuk back to the hotel. For me the bed was too soft but that’s very personal of course. One side note: if you are not good with using lots of stairs this might not be your hotel. But I’d recommend you to ask then for a room on a lower level. One last shout out to the wonderful treatment I had in the hotel spa. Would definitely recommend the Kiridara!

We had an enjoyable 3-4 days at Kiridara. The clientel were friendly and service minded, the room was clean and of decent+ standard. The hotel is a 5 minute drive from the city center, but the free of charge shuttle service Kiridara offers makes this very smooth.

There were nothing regarding the hotel i would point out as speficially bad, but we were unlucky with the timing of our stay (April). Due to the use of flash fire in the agricultural industry, and the lack of winds in Luang Prabang, the weather was constantly smoggy.

The place is beautiful and peaceful. The rooms overlooked the hills and the pool provided a nice place to relax and unwind. The staff were excellent. It was my husband’s birthday and both the room service and the restaurant went out of their way to make it a little special for him.

The hotel’s location is a little far from the village where most of the attractions were located. However, the hotel provided a complementary on-demand shuttle service which was much appreciated. But to access this, we had to call the hotel via our overseas phones which were expensive for us. It would be better if the hotel used a WhatsApp number for its guests to communicate with them.

Fantastic Hotel All the staff are friendly, and the environment is wonderful. I was lucky to be upgraded this time. The room was spacious and very clean. It had a balcony, a working desk(smoking area), and two loungers outside. There was turndown service, and throughout the stay, the staff consistently provided service beyond expectations. The breakfast was delicious, offering a choice between ordering from a menu (you can pick one dish from each of four categories), a buffet area, and ordering beverages separately. It was truly amazing, and the staff were thoughtful. There's a small gym on the top of the resort, and it’s more suitable for free weights workouts, although the weight options are a bit limited. But having a place to exercise is still great. The swimming pool is beautiful, and my room is right next to it. I saw many people swimming during the stay. The hotel also offers shuttle services, providing free rides to and from town (although it's not far if you prefer walking, about two kilometers). You can also book airport transfers for $15 per trip. If you want to visit nearby attractions, you can inquire whether the hotel provides transportation, and the costs may need to be confirmed with the hotel. Highly recommended for everyone. This hotel is truly fantastic. I loved everything about it and am grateful for the care provided by the staff during the stay.
