We appreciated the location of the property given how close it is to South Padre Island, and how convenient the location is in proximity to the stores in Port Isabel. The inside of the room had a large fridge with a freezer, which was great for stashing our late night frozen treats and fresh cut fruit! The room was very spacious, and very clean when we arrived. We were also able to reserve a room that was facing out towards a nice space of grass land and had an ocean view.

It didn’t necessarily bother us, but it was rather a surprise when we discovered a small cemetery directly across from the property! It was of no real disturbance, but it was definitely an unexpected surprise! Additionally, the deadbolt on the top of the door did not lock from the outside only the inside. But there was not much to say negatively about this property, or stay! We recommend it for an economical and valuable stay.

There is everything to like about this property. Location is great honestly it’s a hidden gem. Pool is amazing if you get an ocean view room it’s breathtaking. Rooms are clean and are fully equipped with everything you need. The staff is so friendly and welcoming.

It’s close to everything and in walking distance to many restaurants and shops by the lighthouse. It had a kitchenette and was very clean. It’s an older motel, but very nice for the price you pay. The pool is pretty big and they have a nice bbq area. I have an older black lab, and the room had plenty of space for her to lay in without being in the way. Way bigger than your average motel room.

It’s not a 5 star establishment, but if your looking for a place to stay, i would Recommend it. Also, I didn’t see any roaches that weren’t outside and expected, since it’s by the bay, so that was a plus!!

Water pressure was nice the tvs were great had alot of options with roku on things to watch was quiet too and nothing crazy was going on outside or near the hotel

There was a wipe in the freezer that had been there while it was frozen solid but other then that hotel is a great place to stay was well managed

Sorry did not have any breakfast..we were not told..and we did not have any Hand Soaps only squiz shampoo and conditioner But no hand Soaps...had to go to HEB... Grocery Store...to buy Soaps 🧼 that's all. Thank you.

Everything was nice good bedding Just needed Soaps to wash hands ✋️ Nice A/C cool.

It felt like we bothered staff. I felt bad for checking in. Then, the pool we were unsure if it was clean because it was green. There is no trash bag in the room despite the sign saying to use "one provided."

I loved the pool, the room was great. As soon as we walked in it smelled so clean. Our bed and pillows felt so soft. I have stayed at Pearl South and other expensive hotels but this one I can honestly say was a hidden gem. Definitely will definitely be booking again soon!

My husband would have liked to take his beverage in the pool area. It's understandable if you can't though.

I loved the view of the bay and the cemetery where my parents and brother are buried was right across the street. Easy access for visit.

There were a few knats flying around. Maybe a knat catcher would take care of that.

There were two small beetles in the bathroom. Didn’t like that. Other than that everything was fine. Enjoyed my stay.

I live this hotel I'm currently staying here now the owners are super sweet it's listed as a 2 star but I give it a 10 for comfortability and hospitality
