After Japanese smallest hotel rooms, this apparent is like a palace. Situated in silent part of Hakone just 10 mins walk from the station. A bit old but in perfect condition. Very well equipped. ACs, TVs, perfect water pressure, all good. The owner was really helpful starting from detailed instructions about apartment and surroundings and finishing to calming down the neighbors.

For me it was a first experience with futon bed and I felt some pain in the mornings. But it was stated at the description and I was wondering in such experience, so no complaints here but think about it if you plan to stay there for a long time.

Very clean and tidy, with a fully equipped kitchen and coin-operated laundry machines, making it ideal for families. There is also free parking available. Entry with a code is very convenient. The house has three floors, and the children had a great time going up and down. Breakfast is not provided, but the well-equipped kitchen and large refrigerator make it easy to prepare your own meals. You can buy what you’d like to eat the night before at a convenience store and enjoy it the next day at the spacious dining table, accompanied by a pleasant view of greenery outside the window.

The accommodation is a bit of a walk from the shopping street—about 10 minutes on foot.

Property is a short walk from the train station and in a quiet area, but with a few restaurants nearby. The beds were comfy and we appreciated having extra pillows and other extra bedding available. There is a bedroom on the ground floor, and then a 3rd floor loft for sleeping - perfect for us travelling with teenagers but if you have smaller children be aware. We didn’t really use the kitchen but it seemed fully stocked.

There is no couch, but little seats on the floor. Fine for the kids but us adults struggled. We didn’t really understand the garbage sorting request, and would have appreciated more information on how to do that correctly.

Modern Japanese style townhouse. All facilities required for a family stay were made available. Our grandchildren loved playing with the toys in the upper mezzanine. The bathroom amenity bags were a nice touch. Playground next door!

While there was adequate sleeping room for our group of 8, it was a little cramped for dining and only 1 bathroom and toilet ( no bath, only shower). It was a long walk to the restaurant for our dinner and we were glad we only had light luggage walking from station.

New, quiet, and nice-looking villa. Warm in the winter. Nice small kitchen, dinette, living room set up for 4 people.

A bit tucked away to be close to any decent restaurant nearby. Loft has a low ceiling, which requires adults to crawl in and out. The floor mattress is too thin , and I have to double up the mattresses. The Washing machine requires some coins to operate. Owner will not let you check in a couple of hours early despite apart being ready and the weather was wet and cold.

When I arrived, I received a message about many rules. When I had already paid for everything. I was not informed about it during the booking. For every mistake. I have to pay a fine. Especially for smoking and noise. Despite the fact that there was noise at night and there was an ashtray with cigarette butts next to our door and our neighbors were smoking.

It was nice to have a kitchen so we could prepare food. The kitchen was well set up with appliances. The house was in a quiet neighbourhood. 10 min walk to Hakone station. Nice views. The dining / lounge area had nice lighting with various preset options. Beds in the downstairs room were comfortable. My kids said the futons were comfortable. There is 7-11 is nearby, also a bakery and a couple of restaurants.

Had to pay extra to use the washing machine (we spent about ¥500 to wash and clothes for a family of 4). On one night, people arrived to stay in the adjoining house and were stomping up and down the stairs for a little while, which was a bit noisy. The walk to the station is a bit uphill, and although only 10 minutes it feels like a long way when your feet are sore from a day of sightseeing.

A beautiful modern villa with plenty of space, the space is well appointed and has a fully equipped kitchen. They have thicker foam mattresses if the tatami mats are not to your liking. Would be great for small groups but there is just one bathroom.

Overall it was great, there is a bit of a walk to the central area so this may not suit some people. It only takes maybe 10 minutes.

Key codes were sent via the booking.com messenger, very easy to get in. Property was super clean & is clearly really well looked after. Nice location & easy to get to everything on foot.

There's a connecting property owned by another company. The walls are very thin & we could constantly hear the people next door talking & running up the stairs. This wasn't a problem for us, but there are signs in the property advising you to keep the noise down, including talking levels after 9pm due to complaints from the other property. This was a little restrictive IMO as we felt we constantly had to constantly monitor our conversation levels due to the thin connecting walls.

Situated in a not so interesting part of town. A lot of rules and warnings which created a not so welcoming feel. I was hoping for a river view but our particular apartment did not.
