Excellent location, in a quiet street, close to the center and the pedestrian zone! Breakfast options nearby, bars and restaurants within a 5-10 minute walk. The apartment is fully equipped, modern and tastefully furnished. We appreciated that before entering the apartment, overlooking the yard and greenery, there is a small table and two chairs where you can enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning and a glass of wine in the evening. The hosts- Marcella and Roch, very nice and friendly, are interested during your stay if you are missing or needing anything. They can provide you with information about the surroundings and spending time in and around Bergamo.

This is a gem of a property - it's a few minutes' walk into the heart of Bergamo, while also being very tranquil. The walk into Cita Alta is a little further, taking me about 20 minutes on foot. The property itself is gated, which added to the feeling of safety as a solo female traveller. Getting the keys was very easy, with a representative of Donizetti Residence meeting me there to hand me the key and explain a little about the accommodation. Everything was spotlessly clean, and I had everything I needed for my short stay.

The location was really convenient for the old city and was close to a lovely square with nice bars and restaurants. It was off a quiet street and to our surprise it also had a lovely terrace area outside which was perfect for sitting out in the evening and for breakfast. The decor was very nice, clean, modern and welcoming. The host was so friendly and there was cold water in the fridge which was lovely on a hot day.

The bed could have been a bit more comfortable but everything was lovely and new and the sheets were clean and fresh. Hard to fault this excellent accommodation.

Such an amazing place! Great location, beautifully decorated, the pictures don’t do it justice. The apartments are situated in an Italian Villa with an inner courtyard, it made it more intimate and quiet but still had privacy from the rest of the guests. Our host was amazing, communication was easy, he was so helpful with all the information and we do hope he can host us again in the future We had an amazing time and we will definitely return

It was a big apartment, everything was there that one needed. Marcella met us at the apartment and showed us around the apartment, how to get in and out etc, also gave some useful tips for sightseeing and the best way back to the airport when we were leaving (bus rather than expensive taxi)

Maybe soundproofing between the apartments could have been better but this didn't detract from a very enjoyable stay.

A very nice, clean apartments in the heart of Bergamo. Besides being close to the city centre, the apartment is located in very calm and quiet area. It is big and comfortable and hosts provide everything you may need: cosmetics, towels, a tea and a coffee. If it wasn’t enough, the hosts are the BEST, the most caring people you can imagine. I will never forget the big, honest smile of the owner, happy to see us when we met to get the keys. I’ve been travelling a lot but never meet such an awesome, honest, happy and easygoing hosts. Seriously, if you’re planning a trip to Bergamo - save yourself a trouble and risk and consider staying in Donizetti Apartments.

Well-located apartment which was very comfortable and clean. Good communication from the helpful hosts. The sleeping arrangements were ok for a family of five - king size bed, double sofa bed for kids to share in living area and single bed. There was a fridge, microwave and hob. Plenty of places to eat nearby and not too far from the station. Small outside terrace with two chairs and access to shared garden which was nice for the kids.

We stayed at this apart-hotel and were absolutely delighted! Check-in was smooth and hassle-free, and the staff was incredibly friendly and professional – they truly know how to do their job. The room was excellent: clean, cozy, and equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay. The atmosphere was pleasant, and we felt right at home. Huge thanks for the outstanding service! The apartment was in a great location, walking distance to shops and restaurants. 15 minute walk to the train station and bus station. Very comfortable, clean and the shower is amazing! The owner was really accommodating with us and came out her way to meet us to allow us to store our bags prior to check in. Also checked in with us to ensure we were enjoying our stay. Can't say enough good things about this place, we will definitely be back. Highly recommend
