This hotel was a very pleasant surprise in the charming atmosphere of Bergamo. I had just come from a very unfortunate experience in Barcelona, and I started thinking that perhaps three-star hotels had declined all over Europe. Not at all! I found an elegant and quiet hotel, even though it’s located on a main street, with a wonderful breakfast offering fresh and carefully selected products. The staff were kind and helpful, and the hotel provides a welcome drink—which unfortunately I didn’t manage to enjoy, but I’d like to take this opportunity to thank them nonetheless. The toiletries were also remarkable—more numerous and diverse than anywhere else. I don't recall ever finding makeup remover in a hotel before. In other places, even those rated four stars, you're lucky if you get a little body lotion. The only downside was that noises from other rooms could be heard—of all kinds—and depending on their nature and intensity, they could even wake you up in the middle of the night. Of course, this also depends on the courtesy of the guests.

The hotel was in an excellent location for us - 10 minutes walk from the railway station; 20 minutes walk from the funicular to the old town. The staff were friendly, helpful and efficient. The breakfast was ample and varied and we enjoyed a delicious evening meal and welcoming free cocktail. The room was large, comfortable and clean. The bed was very comfortable. I was amazed at the range of toiletries and other items offered in the bathroom - they were very thoughtful.

It would have been good to be able to make a hot drink in the room, particularly in the morning. The room became quite warm overnight, but the air conditioning didn't come on despite being on the lowest setting. If we had been staying more than one night, I would have asked about this. I was surprised we had to pay for the bottle of water in the room.

Absolutely amazing place to stay great location 10 min walk from the train station a lot of restaurants around 1 min walk from the hotel there is a bus station to the airport. The hotel is very very clean I mean spotless! The biggest surprise of this hotel is the receptionist (Giulio)very nice,polite, and also helpful. He should be promoted to hotel manager because he does all the work with his behavior, for which I am very grateful because our stay was very short but in a nice atmosphere. I recommend this place 100%

Everything was perfect

Wonderful front desk staff, very helpful and friendly. Absolutely excellent breakfast, with many choices and daily variety. The location was great, practically in the centre of town, good bus service and about 20 minute walk from the train station. Many good restaurants and gelaterias nearby.

Definitely did not like the bathtub&shower combination. Difficult for an elderly person to get in, fearful of falling or going through that glass partition. Would have preferred a walk-in shower.

Due to our flight being canceled, we urgently needed a place to stay for the night and chose this hotel. However, I would like to express my dissatisfaction with the short duration between check-in and check-out. We checked in at midnight and had to leave the room by 11 a.m., which gave us very little time to rest. I understand the hotel’s policies, but I believe that in situations like this, more flexibility with the check-out time would make the experience more positive and welcoming for guests.

Warm, friendly and helpful staff. All staff were lovely but the reception staff were especially kind and helpful. The breakfasts were amazing. Lots of cheeses, breads, pastries, cakes, cereals, yogurts, smoked salmon, and for those who eat them eggs/omlettes and sliced meats. To drink there was fruit juice (2 sometimes 3 kinds), still or sparkling water, various coffees and teas. I had dinner there on one night and it was very tasty and again the wait staff member who served me was friendly and chatty. The spa, whilst a little more expensive than I would usually pay for a spa was exclusively for the person(s) (ie a couple or group of friends/family) who booked it.

The only downside was that I like to be cool when I sleep and the room was too hot and due to Italian regulations I was not able to use air-conditioning to cool it to a reasonable temperature which meant that I had disturbed sleep for the 3 night's I was there, even though I opened the window for 1.5 hours before I went to sleep to cool the room down.

Very good location, 200 meters from the bus station to Citta Alta. The ladies at the Reception were very helpful, very friendly. The room and the bathroom were nice, clean, the bed very comfortable, the lamps were very good and interesting design. The carpark was just at the hotel which is a great value in italien cities.

We got a welcome drink card at check in at 3 pm, which I did not expected, but it was valid from 6 to 8 p.m, so I did not want to use it, because we left the hotel to look around, but we went back just 5 minutes before 8, so we went to the bar. The waiter looked at his watch, than he gave us 2 glass of prosecco. There were only high steels free so I tried to sit down at a side restaurant table ( the whole restaurant was empty at 8), but the waiter told we can sit down only in the bar (my hip protezis had moved so I walk with help). I think it would be better not give welcome drink voucther, because it is not a welcome and I thin k all guests can afford to buy one and sit down in normal circumstancies.

Everything was perfect! - Hotel location is very central, you can go everywhere by foot. Train station is 800 meter from hotel. - upon arrival, Anna makes you feel like at home ! She will do anything to make you feel comfortable and knows everything about the city of Bergamo. Thanks a lot Anna. The Room is big and offer everything you need. Area very quiet in night. Bed very comfortable. - The private Spa offer us such an amazing experience! You need to.book it at reception and then you have the whole Spa fir yourself alone during 90 minutes. - Massage is also very good! Thanks a lot to the friendly masseuse! - Breakfast is amazing and staff very professional! Thanks you Jenny. - The bar is very nice and offer lots of drinks. The Argentinian barman is very friendly. This hotel is fantastic really! Such quality of service and and good value for the money. Thanks at every single person who works here! I'll be back!

Convenience was great ( walkable to train, bus or funicular). Beds were comfortable . Breakfast was good, ok. Many breads and sweets but not much protein . Staff was very attentive . Hotel was kind of of pricy for a smaller town, but we loved Bergamo . So many beautiful things, church, cobblestones streets with unique shops and old buildings.

Pillows were very flat, hard to get comfortable. Our room was 414 and had strong musty smell.
