Although I did a check-in on line the night before and thought I'd read everything as instructed I don't remember seeing the part where I had to pay the tourist tax to get an access code. Maybe that should highlighted at the start of the online check-in procedure. It meant that when we got there after a stressful drive over the Splugen Pass into Italy we were very tired and had difficulty opening the front door. When I rang the customer service number a man on the phone told me very impolitely to stop talking and listen! I couldn't hear him properly to begin with as it was loud on the street outside. It spoilt the first part of the stay. Other people were having the same problem.

Fantastic location right in the heart of Bergamo with everything you need on your doorstep. Very comfortable and well thought out accommodation in a lovely building with very secure access. Great views! Reception can be reached easily by phone or WhatsApp if there are any issues. I appreciated that I was able to leave my bag in the common area before check-in at 15h because I arrived early in the morning.

I had read that there were coffee machines in the properties but sadly my room didn't have one. Would've been a bonus. Entrance code access is a bit difficult to get your head round at first but works perfectly well once you get the hang of it.

I liked so much this place that as it was looking very good, cleaning every day, the location in the center, in a beautiful place, near the train station, max 10 min walk. A perfect location, a perfect city, the best stay when you will what to visit Milan and Bergamo.

It will be very good to have again the facility, as it was mentioned and I did not find in the room, the coffee/ tea machine. Until I would go to the cafeteria, I wanted to make a tea/coffee. Maybe you could arrange to have included a voucher for breakfast as of: a cappuccino/ coffee and a croissant at the bar near.

Very new, very clean, very comfortable. Good AC, nice shower, comfortable bed, safe and a fantastic location.

The self check in process takes a long time. I felt like I was doing all of the work. Uploading pictures of documents, copying numbers from documents into boxes etc etc and paying the tourist taxes. In the end it was still necessary for a member of staff to come and look at the document. Surely the member of staff could have just taken a picture of the document and your systems could manage the rest. It was actually quite inconvenient. Lots of very long messages on booking which triggers lots of emails. I get the desire to make things digital and easy but it feels like a transfer of work from the hotel to the guest.

The location is ideal, and the building itself is stunning. The room was clean, spacious, and well-equipped with everything I needed. I prefer a firmer mattress, and this one was perfect. The car park at Piazza Libertà is just a few minutes’ walk from the hotel and costs €15 per day.

The morning noise from the hallway was quite bothersome and woke me up multiple times. While the sounds of guests leaving their rooms are understandable and beyond the hotel’s control, the cleaning staff started their work very early, which was disruptive. Additionally, a cleaner knocked on my door at 8 a.m. for some reason, which seemed unusually early.

It’s a great place to stay - central and very convenient to Car Parking and we paid Euro 15 for overnight. The property is great but everything is on line and you only see staff when they check your physical documents after you have entered. This is important because when you book online you believe you have finished but be aware - you need to pay City Tax before you can enter with the correct code to the building and your room. When we arrived at 3:00 pm there were quite a few of us who had no idea why we could not enter, but the reason was because we had not paid the City Tax!! So check carefully. Once this had been resolved everything worked well.

Beautiful property in a classic building on a wide piazza, featuring the donozetti theatre and cafes. Excellent location. Room was very large, clean, comfortable. Included a little balcony. Sunny in the morning. Appreciated the coffee maker and complimentary sparkling water. Person on site was very accommodating and helpful. The price was very low for such a modern and large hotel room at this location.

Entry is supposed to be contactless with an entry code that gets you into the building and your room, as well as an app with a button for both. It did not work flawlessly for me, but i was still able to access the building in my room without difficulty. (it may have been because my ID needed to be verified by a person on site. The onside person provided a new code and was helpful.)

Great AC, really nice room, and central location, but still very quiet.

Bad communication with personal. The property is keyless and without staff. Front door and room doors are operated by a personal PIN code, which in our case didn’t work, even after 3 PM, when it was supposed to. Texting and calling with the personal took a bit of patience. 3 direct calls to the phone numbers provided were ignored, and a text was returned more than an hour later, which isn’t great if you can’t enter your room, or even the building.

It looks very new and it was clean. The close to bus stop for bus to airport and close by walk to old town. Next to hotel there is a good pasticceria.

We received a lot of fake emails for on-line check-in by Booking for this reservation and that was annoying. In the last notification from Booking, we the link for on-line check-in was removed and we thought that is not need to do it before arrive. After a call with host, we did the on-line check-in but lost time. Please improve your system for on-line check-in!
