Large, modern and tasteful room with a comfortable bed. Absolutely clean. Was totally quite when we were there mid June. If you want to park your car use Parcheggio Piazza Libertà (and not the other one!) for 15 EUR/day. Great breakfast nearby in Caffè Del Viale. In 10min you are in the modern center and in the other direction in five minutes you are at the base of the funiculare which lifts you to the old town on the hill.

After you book you get links to web forms to fill out with your details. Thses forms are annoying and totally outdated regarding usability.

Great location – a short walk straight to Città Alta or to the funicular that takes you there. Plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. Right by the main street with a bus stop where buses go to the train station and the airport. Excellent communication with the owner, with clear instructions and easy check-in and use of the property. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped – there’s a TV with Netflix, a fridge, kettle, mugs, glasses, wine glasses, coffee and tea, as well as towels and basic toiletries in the bathroom.

The walls seem to be quite thin, as you can hear the guests from the neighboring rooms very clearly – sometimes a bit too much. But aside from that, everything was great :)

The room was clean and spacious.

You can only check in with working phone that can call within Italy (not just internet) to check in. I only realised this after I made a non-refundable booking. There is no staff at the hotel and I felt like it was the worst of both airbnb and a hotel. No kitchen and hence no microwave. There was fair bit of road noise at night, though they provided earphones. No shampoo/conditioner. Just an all-in-one. It would be fine for someone on a short trip. We are travelling for five weeks from the other side of the world so it just wasn’t right for us.

The location was great, very close from the old centre (cità alta) and in the corner there was also the bus to go to the old town. There were a lot of coffee and restaurants around. The rooms were really clean and comfortable. The service was always really friendly and would answer all your questions fast. The instructions to be able to access the room were really clear. Everything was fine, we'll definitely come back here if we come back to Bergamo.

It was a very nice apartment, very clean and modern looking revamped old place. I really liked the combination of old and new. It was big enough for us to move around especially with the baby, we didn’t feel crammed in 4 walls. We had a cot provided by the property which was great for us, saved us from having to travel with a portable bed, since we don’t sleep with our baby in our bed. There was coffee and tea available in the room. The balcony was really nice, to sit and maybe have a coffee in the morning or a glass of wine in the evening. Talk about glasses, it is the first property where there are more than 1 type of glasses available and a wine bottle opener, we really appreciated that! Also, the staff was very kind and helpful. The owner helped us book a taxi in the early morning and it was God sent, since there were no busses so early in the morning and I had no idea how to solve the problem (I don’t speak italian so I didn’t take into consideration calling a taxi company). All i all, if I come back to Bergamo I’ll surely look into booking here again! Highly recommend!

The mattress was too soft for us, we had some back pain, but I think that it’s a matter of habit and preference, not an issue with the property.

A very clean, comfortable modern room, everything is cozy and imbued with love for the history and culture of Italy and its guests. The room has a coffee machine, a kettle, free coffee capsules, tea and water, it's so convenient, cozy and nice. You can take a beautiful interesting book on the history of Bergamo from the bookshelf and leaf through it over a cup of coffee. The room has a large comfortable bathroom with everything you need and a balcony. Excellent location, eight minutes' walk to the funicular and it will take you to the beautiful old Bergamo. There is inexpensive convenient parking near the hotel. This is convenient if you are traveling by car. Convenient and clear online registration and receiving access keys without a reception desk. The hostess Leila is always in touch and ready to help. Many thanks to her for the warm welcome and the pleasant opportunity to have a good rest before flying out of Bergamo. The hotel is 15 minutes away from the airport by car, without traffic jams and worries.)

It’s an amazing apartment! Really, this location is so convenient because you can walking 7 minutes to funicular and 10 minutes to bus or train station. My window view was on the beautiful square , and I wake up with the church rings. It’s too easy to get inside. You only contact with receptions previously and have a plan. Extremely clean apartment! The bathroom shines and towels are soft. Among other things, it’s an appartments with soul: you have slippers, and coffee, tea, water, corkscrews and even when I need an umbrella Stefania gave me one. One small but important detail- you have own balcony for morning coffee.

The room was comfortable. We liked that it was located near the funicular for the old town. I was nervous about the no contact aspect of this hotel, but it worked out for us. A note to fellow travelers who are traveling with car: the Piazza Liberta parking garage is much cheaper than the San Marco parking garage.

The walls are very thin. We could hear the guests talking in the adjacent room. Thankfully they stopped talking shortly after our bedtime.

The location is excellent, it's a quiet area of town but at the same time it's very close to the funicular to the Città Alta and only a 15 min walk from the train station. The bus to the airport also stops at the opposite side of the road. There are lots of nice bars and restaurants within walking distance. There are also parking facilities just outside the door. The hostess, Leila, is very polite, friendly and helpful. Communication was superb, both in advance and during the stay. Easy to check in and check out. Our room was spacious, airy and clean. We had one double bed and a single bed, both with good mattresses. Both the room and the bathroom were super clean every day and the water bottles in the fridge and the coffee capsules for the coffee maker were replaced every day. Our stay was solid pleasant that we definitely want to visit Bergamo again, and we will definitely stay at Ginevra Rooms also in future visits to Bergamo. 🙂

The property is very clean, once a day it was cleaned. Also, the apartment position is near a parking place if you come by car or right across the airport bus station (bus no 1) that takes you also to old town on top of the hill. It was also at walking distance (10 mins) from city center where were the restaurants and shops. The owner was very friendly and we received all information to easy get into the room as there is no reception.

The couch was a little squeaky but children did not seem bothered by it.
