Lovely apartment very close to the funicular railway, which takes you up the the high town of Bergamo. Our room was on the ground floor so no stairs to climb. Just the ones from the car park th the reception office. The room was spacious and the bathroom was off through a hall way. Our room had blinds rather than curtains, and once we figured out how they worked they were really good.

The apartment officially has not got a reception, so everything is done by phone/internet, which is a real pain when you are travelling, passport photos ect. We found it quite stressful, The annoying part was when we got there the reception was on site, so all the stress could have been avoided.

The room and location are very nice and close to the old city (by stairs or by cable car). The room was very clean and equipped with hairdryer, shampoo, tv etc. The neighborhood is also nice and quiet at night and the bus stop from the airport is really close (3 min. walk)

The only thing was that there was no one at the property to help us or ask questions. Example: the room key was not easy to enter the lock and open the room and the key for the property pedestrian door wasn't working from the inside.

Huge room

The coffee machine that started seeping water after dispensing coffee for over 10 seconds. The hotel told us that it was essentially our fault for drinking a longer coffee that espresso…however my mum has the same machine and it does not seep water from the bottom regardless of how long you dispense coffee…

The location was great. Within walking distance to the old and the new town, very close to the funicular & bus station. We managed to find the house very easy based on the address that we received. We had coffee, tea and the bathrooms have a wide range of toiletries. The pre check in form is not difficult, but it might take a while if you are a large group as we were. On the other hand, I like the fact that every door is automated, based on a code. We felt safe.

The rooms were large and comfortable but not as in the pictures they use on booking. The customer service could be improved, I left them a message during our stay, but did not receive any answer.

The room was surprisingly big with a nice big bathroom. The building itself is quite impressive. I liked the location not far from the funicular up to the Citta Alta.

Like everyone else has stated, the check-in process is unnecessarily complicated. I exchanged several emails prior to arriving, knowing that I would not have Internet access upon arrival. Fortunately, the management provided all of the codes beforehand, so I didn't have any issues upon arrival. That said, in removing any form of reception, there is now an extremely administrative verification/access/payment process that seems unjustifiable considering I only stayed one night. The Wifi password was hidden in the middle of a block of text on a paper in the room. They should consider posting it on the wall or making it otherwise more visible by putting it separately on the desk.

Everything was great. The property was kind of rustic but the room had a lot of space, great bed and pillows. Room cleaning everyday with towels changing and bath products replacement. A great space for the price paid. Check in was great with all the codes being sent in advance, no need to be dependent with anyone. Would totattly be back and recommend it to anyone.

Great set up, nice building, very large family room. Generous coffee and toiletry provision. Contactless entry and exit - we arrived in the middle of the night and entered using the codes that became available at 3pm on the Vikey website. Excellent location 2 mins walk from the funicular up to the Citta Alta.

Impersonal - no interaction with staff, but it all worked well and it was perfect for our needs

Location was excellent! very convenient room - has everything you need! coffee/tea maker and a mini-fridge! The room was well heated (I arrived on February). very clean room and bathroom! Although the building is old but it's in excellent shape, well kept and it gives unique experience to stay there! Each room has a private entrance which gives a very private feeling! quiet place yet close to the Funicular that takes you directly to Citta Alta!

The size of the rooms and great location

Check in was a bit messy and no parking spaces available due to workers vans being parked in the spaces.

Really big room. Very clean and stylish. Owner was very helpful in ordering us a taxi for the airport.

We thought there would be bed clothes for the sofabed but there were not any. My nephew had to sleep on it with nö sheets or blanket. We chose a room on booking.com that had two sleeping facilities and presumed that there would be bedding for the sofabed too. It was too late to get sb to bring us some bedding, which is of course the disadvantages of booking accommodation which does not have anyone on the property who you can turn to sort issues out on the spot. We were told that we should have asked in advance. However, if you advertise two sleeping facilities, you can exoect that guests will 'presume' you provide bedding for both beds. The room is more than big enough to store bedding in.
