What a great little hotel! It’s actually a cafe-bar with rooms above rather than a traditional hotel but it made our experience even better as we had afternoon drinks on the lovely terrace right next to the furnicular and impressive city walls. The breakfast was excellent - scrambled eggs were perfect. The young staff are friendly and helpful and the room was great - open plan concept which I like with a great music system and power-shower. There was nothing I didn’t like and it was better than I was expecting. We will definitely we staying here again.

More coat hangers in the wardrobe please! (I do not travel light lol).

Amazing staff, very welcoming. Fantastic position next to the funicular railways and a few minutes from the main square, yet nice and quiet. Nice buffet breakfast. Room was lovely, nicely decorated. Hotel has a lift. Would definitely stay here again (maybe a different room, see below!) The staff are absolutely wonderful. Nice outside terrace. Welcome drink was lovely. Wouldn't find a nicer hotel.

The bathroom was in a corner surrounded by smoked glass! When the light is on you can see through to whoever is sitting on the loo! Ok if you dont mind that. Also there is a gap between the glass door and the next panel. Not very private, may just have been our room, so could be a different layout elsewhere. This was the only thing we were not keen on, the rest was amazing!

It was a perfect 10... The hotel is a delightful boutique hotel with only 6 rooms and they are all lovingly well appointed..the hotel had a lovely bar with great outdoor space and the breakfast was fabulous fresh everything.. downstairs was a perfect authentic Naples pizzeria that was outstanding..the staff was beyond helpful and kind and the location was perfect, just outside the old city 5 min and the bus to the lower town was almost right in front. And for people with cars, parking is right next door..you can't miss and they love pets.

We had a wonderful 2 weeks holiday at the Fuori Porta House, the staff are amazing, so friendly & helpful. A big thank you to Melissa & Agostina & all their lovely staff, Johan, Sofia, Raffaele & Davide, they all made our stay very special. A beautiful small hotel, we stayed in a deluxe room (13 ) which was modern, very clean & spacious with air conditioning & a balcony overlooking the Sant'Alessandro gate. Breakfast was very good with plenty of choice, there is a nice terrace at the front which was great to have a relaxing drink after a day sightseeing. Perfect location next to the Sant'Alessandro gate into the old walled Città Alta, a lovely 8 minute stroll to the Piazza Vecchia & only 1 minute to the bus stop to catch the number 1 bus which takes you to the lower town / train station & the airport. Nothing we were very happy

Great location, allowing you to walk to the most important parts of Citta Alta, historical sites, excellent restaurants, and charming streets. A wonderful place for walks both during the day and after dusk. The hotel is small, boutique-style, but very sweet. The breakfast is delightful, consisting of pastries as well as local products—cured meats, cheeses. Fantastic coffee is served with breakfast. The water can be drunk directly from the tap, so there is no need to drink it from plastic - brawo. I would add that the hotel packed us a breakfast on its own initiative since we were leaving early in the morning. We didn’t ask for it, and it was a pleasant surprise. Well done! The rooms are very cozy with very comfortable beds. In the room, there are toiletries available, and the mini-fridge is stocked (at an additional charge). We had an attic room, which offered an extra attraction: a view of the sky through a skylight (opened with a remote control). The room was clean and tidied up daily. However, I would especially like to praise the staff. Everyone is very helpful and smiling. Special congratulations and thanks go to Maggie. Such people need to be appreciated—she is a treasure for this hotel. She is simply wonderful!!

Everything was great!

The location was perfect. The overall stay at the property was excellent. The service from the staff was superb. For young staff, they were constantly attentive and extremely helpful in all aspects of enquiries. This is the 3rd time that I have visited Bergamo, and I wouldn't hesitate to return to the Fuori hotel The whole experience was wonderful. There was nothing to dislike

The room was superb and rather quiet. Absolutely amazing location. Really good breakfast! There was some confusion about bar bills as we stayed with friends who had separate booking, but the lady at the reception handled it perfectly.

The parking per day is rather expensive but would definitely recommend as impossible to park anywhere in Citta Alta. Would be good to be informed that a glass of wine in the bar always comes with the apero (12 euros per person), but it hindsight, we could have asked for price list.

An atmospheric boutique hotel with staff attentive to guests and their needs. Tastefully furnished rooms, comfortable mattresses, good sound insulation. Breakfast is not as vast in choice, but is very tasty - one hot dish (omelette), cheese/meat slices, pastries, one type of cornflakes, yogurt. Especially delicious are the high-quality pastries! The location is incredibly convenient! Sights, transport, restaurants, shops - everything is within walking distance. When we return to Bergamo, we will choose this hotel again! Highly recommend!

I didn't like the pillows - they are quite thin and a bit hard. But this, of course, depends only on individual taste in pillows. Very early check out - 11:00.

The hotel is in an excellent location for all the delights of Bergamo Citta Alta. Our room was spacious and well equipped and the staff could not have been more helpful. Highly recommended.
