Exceptional location on the hill above Citta Alta with fantastic views.

If you are getting to this hotel by car keep in mind that the streets are very narrow and steep. The entrance to the garage is not marked and you may end up returning back to get into it

I don’t know where to begin. The property was magical, the staff were professional, personable and just lovely. Roberta & Federica in reception could not have been more kind and helpful as this was our first visit to Bergamo. Our room was large with stunning views. Breakfast was gourmet and personalized. Just wow! Had we known just how good it would be we would have planned our trip differently in order to stay longer. We will certainly be back. The value here was priceless - like the memories.

The old town of Bergamo and this hotel were absolutely amazing (and totally underrated). The location at the top of the city were perfect. The rooms were beautiful and the service was great. Loved this boutique hotel

Maybe add a few extra complimentary bottles of water to the room upon arrival.

The property is incredibly beautiful, the room was lovely, the breakfast was great, and the views were sublime. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

I wasn’t aware we couldn’t eat in our room which is important to us when travelling for weeks. However they made up a table for us to eat in the restaurant when we ordered food delivered. I would have liked to know that the pizza restaurant only opened certain nights and room service was not possible then. But there are many great options in Citi Alta for dinner. It wouldn’t stop me staying or recommending the hotel, it is a very special place and the staff were absolutely lovely.

Stunning views across Bergamo. Beautiful hill top locale with great restaurants. Comfortable, quiet and spacious rooms. Good breakfast selection ordered the night before so food is served freshly cooked.

We loved everything about this hotel. Great location with amazing views from the terrace and gardens. Every member of staff was friendly and all the facilities top notch. Wonderful breakfast. Large bedroom and en-suite. Located just by the top of the funicular San Vigilio (3 min journey) for easy access to Citti Alta's lovely streets, individual shops, churches and museums but just a 10-15 minute walk if you wanted (we did!) to walk down. We ate at the restaurant/pizzeria owned by the hotel with the best view in Bergamo - superb!

Everything was perfect!

Charming property with modern fittings in an old style building. Incredible views. Staff were very helpful & attentive.

We drove ourselves to the property. They warn you in advance to only follow their directions to reach the hotel. What they don’t fully explain is that for the final couple of kms, you will be driving on narrow cobblestone roads which double as walkways, including going through outdoor dining facilities. We really thought we were lost & driving illegally. Several corners were so sharp, we had to do a 3 point turn to get around. They offer paid parking (which we used because there was little else available) & it was also difficult to get into/out of. No car or pedestrian harm caused, but were were relieved to safely get in & out. Maybe Europeans are used to this type of old town driving.😳
