Our stay at Le Funi hotel was exceptional. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm hospitality and impeccable service. We were delighted to find out that our room had been upgraded in celebration of my husband's birthday, which made our experience even more special. The thoughtful gestures from the staff truly made our stay at Le Funi hotel stand out. They surprised us with a delightful aperitif, and the restaurant team went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed. The hotel itself is stunning, boasting a prime location with the most breathtaking views of the city. Every detail, from the elegant decor to the comfortable amenities, contributed to an unforgettable stay. We will certainly return, as this visit has left us with cherished memories and a desire to experience the hospitality of Le Funi hotel once again. Everything!!! Most amazing hotel stay! Location, facilities, staff, food, value. Comfy bed, beautiful room. We stayed in deluxe room, had kettle and coffee machine.We definitely will be back. Special thank you to a young guy with glasses for feeding us when we arrived very late and sorry for dragging you to work on Sunday to check us out in the evening. Hotel is really lucky to have staff like that. Another massive thank you to a cleaning team, amazing job especially in that heat. Thank you soooo very much ❤️

Lovely, friendly hotel. Fantastic breakfast with beautiful views over Bergamo. Rooms are spacious - lovely, modern decor and very clean.

The location of the Hotel is excellent for seeing around the old area of the city and was so easy to get the Number 1 bus from the airport and the last stop is just 3 min walk to the Hotel, The staff were so so nice and very helpful with any queries we had on getting around the area, the breakfast was beautiful and sufficient, the old town area of Bergamo is beautiful and is only a 3 min stroll from the hotel with lots of nice restaurants / cafes, the walk around the old ancient walls is a must to see beautiful views around the city, it was my birthday when I was there and staff surprised me with a small cake and birthday wishes which was a really nice surprise. also the owner of the Hotel came and wished me happy birthday also as his birthday was the day before and we had a nice chat. such a nice down to earth man and this reflects through to his excellent team of staff that he has working for him. we will definitely stay here again in the future thanks Le Funi Hotel

Very friendly and professional staff, we were made to feel welcome right from the start and through our stay. The rooms where nice, of good quality and clean and the location convenient, just 5-10mins away from the beginning/end of the main throughfare of Bergamo alto. The breakfast buffet was very nice too.

The breakfast place at Le Funi Hotel is a little cramped and was a bit overwhelmed during the period we visited. Le Funi Hotel did recommend the restaurant La Ripa which is in the connected building, however despite recommendation and the good reviews on google we were rather disappointed by both the service and the food at La Ripa.

Amazing hotel in the lovely Citta Alta Bergamo. Close to the funicular, which is lovely (in some rooms you can just hear it rumble by but not an issue). Rooms lovely with all amenities and some have great views. Breakfast fantastic. Staff excellent and couldn't do enough for us. Highly recommended!!

There is a short steep hill for the last 50m or so, that may be an issue for some people. Walks off a few of the pizza calories!

lovely small hotel, excellent staff and amazing location. would recommend anyone wishing to visit Bergamo to stay at this hotel. So easy to walk into the historic city and enjoy everything it has to offer.

The property is a five minute walk from the old town and two minutes from the funicular do San Viglilio (not to be confused with the one that takes you from the new town to the old town, there are 2) we had a spacious room with a large bathroom and a shared outside patio area. Breakfast was great, cheeses, cold meats, pastries, jams and yoghurts with fresh juice and bread. Breakfast was served outside when the weather allowed which was a real treat, the views from the restaurant patio are lovely. The bells of the Angeles were rung at the nearby church at 8 every morning, not to everyone's taste but you're in Italy so enjoy it! The room was cleaned to a high standard whilst we had breakfast each morning and it was great to see the staff actually happy in their work, indeed all the staff were very nice and helpful. Bergamo is not a city for people who object to walking uphill, we don't object and enjoyed the daily challenge of walking all the way down through the old town and back up again to the hotel, wherever your hotel is you will be going up and down hill, unless you stay exclusively in the new town and miss all the beauty and sights. The hotel restaurant is worth a visit, they add little surprises along the way as you dine which makes the meal memorable.

Great location, a couple of minutes walk to the old town centre. Breakfast was amazing, great choice of sweet and savoury items and the option to order freshly squeezed juice. Staff were all very friendly and helpful and let us leave our car in the parking after we'd checked out so we could explore around before coming home. We also had our room upgraded free of charge, a lovely surprise. There is also an outside area which would be great in summer, unfortunately during our stay it was raining 😅

Someone in the room above sounded like the were moving around furniture and banging things around at 6am even though the hotel policy states that quiet time is until 7am. Obviously this is not the fault of the hotel, you could find inconsiderate people wherever you go.
