Excellent location, in a quiet street, close to the center and the pedestrian zone! Breakfast options nearby, bars and restaurants within a 5-10 minute walk. The apartment is fully equipped, modern and tastefully furnished. We appreciated that before entering the apartment, overlooking the yard and greenery, there is a small table and two chairs where you can enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning and a glass of wine in the evening. The hosts- Marcella and Roch, very nice and friendly, are interested during your stay if you are missing or needing anything. They can provide you with information about the surroundings and spending time in and around Bergamo.

This is a gem of a property - it's a few minutes' walk into the heart of Bergamo, while also being very tranquil. The walk into Cita Alta is a little further, taking me about 20 minutes on foot. The property itself is gated, which added to the feeling of safety as a solo female traveller. Getting the keys was very easy, with a representative of Donizetti Residence meeting me there to hand me the key and explain a little about the accommodation. Everything was spotlessly clean, and I had everything I needed for my short stay.

The location was really convenient for the old city and was close to a lovely square with nice bars and restaurants. It was off a quiet street and to our surprise it also had a lovely terrace area outside which was perfect for sitting out in the evening and for breakfast. The decor was very nice, clean, modern and welcoming. The host was so friendly and there was cold water in the fridge which was lovely on a hot day.

The bed could have been a bit more comfortable but everything was lovely and new and the sheets were clean and fresh. Hard to fault this excellent accommodation.

Our apartment was extremely comfortable, clean and well equipped. Our host met us and was keen to make us welcome. It is in easy walking distance to the local piazza with restaurants, supermarkets and cafes. It is very quiet and has a little table and chairs in the front garden for morning coffee. We would highly recommend this apartment for your next visit to Bergamo.

Such an amazing place! Great location, beautifully decorated, the pictures don’t do it justice. The apartments are situated in an Italian Villa with an inner courtyard, it made it more intimate and quiet but still had privacy from the rest of the guests. Our host was amazing, communication was easy, he was so helpful with all the information and we do hope he can host us again in the future We had an amazing time and we will definitely return

It was a big apartment, everything was there that one needed. Marcella met us at the apartment and showed us around the apartment, how to get in and out etc, also gave some useful tips for sightseeing and the best way back to the airport when we were leaving (bus rather than expensive taxi)

Maybe soundproofing between the apartments could have been better but this didn't detract from a very enjoyable stay.

Good location within Citta Bassa. Spacious and comfortable stay. Clean. Clear instructions for a check in and out. Very, very lovely space to spend some time outside of the apartment to enjoy the glass of water (as eating out is not permitted).

The way of payment was a bit surprising but after all nothing bad happened. :) Personally I would replace the cover for the table but it's a minor issue.

We would like the bed to have extra pillows and we would like not to bother to take out the garbage ourselfes on last day. Besides that the stay was great.

Perfect appartement in the middle of centre. Would highly recommend it to everyone for staying in Bergamo. The facilities were brand new and everything was very clean. Nice storage for clothing. It had a small garden and is a good place to rest. Quiet, even though in the middle of the city. We would book this again when visiting Bergamo, for the price can’t beat it.
