The venue was beautiful; even though it was winter, there was so much greenery and colour. The breakfast was substantial and varied. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Wonderful experience overall.

While it did not marre our stay substantially, my only criticism would be on the comfort of the beds. The beds are pretty standard, so not terrible, but my partner and I could feel every move the other person made in the bed. Quite springy. I must stress, however, this did negatively impact our stay to any noticeable degree.

Absolutely everything! Pheasant Hill is a little piece of paradise! I can’t wait to go back and stay. Pieter, Deon and Staff are magnificent! their hospitality is like non other! everything from food to service to the stay was exceptional!

This place is a Garden of Eden with beautiful plants, flowers, dogs and even a horse. Very nice rooms, a pool and a great breakfast. Run by lovely people and Rietvleidam Nature Reserve around the corner. Easy to find when driving to or from the airport. Felt at home from the first second and keep coming back. Almost unbelievable to find a place like this so close to the city. Best place to stay when arriving or flying from at OR Tambo, or when needing to stay in Pretoria/Jo' burg area. Highly recommended!

We had a exceptional good stay and will definitely recommend Pheasant Hill to anybody. Great breakfast and service. Pleasantly surprised by the beautiful place and gardens. Defnitely value for money.

Unfortunately there was not enough hot water for 3 people, but the rest defnitely made up for it.

The venue is absolutely beautiful. Besides that the staff and owner were all exceptionally welcoming. They went out of their way to accommodate our needs. We had a short stay but you can instantly tell how good they are at what they do. I don't have anything bad to say, I'm definitely going back again

The scenic venue and facilities. The service and attitude of the proprietary and stuff was exceptional and the food was delicious.

Not all the DSTV channels were available and the WiFi password was not readily available. The bath/shower bath use not practical.

The garden is absolutely beautiful, and the sounds of all the different birds makes it a joy to stay there. The breakfast was also a delight - it never disappointed.
