This B and B is in a perfect location. Joe, the owner, is so friendly and is available to offer advice for places to go and see . The morning coffee is wonderful, along with the breakfast. The beds are very comfortable and the whole vibe is welcoming and friendly. Every guest I chatted with was happy to be there.

We loved the decor and location of the Carriage Barn Inn. The staff was great and what wonderful conversations we had in the morning over coffee. Their recommendations about to restaurants and things to do in Keene were spot on and we had the best time on out vist.

The location was perfect. Breakfast was great. I’m not a breakfast person and I have yogurt and they had yogurt and fresh fruit. Most of our activities were in Swansea and so we had no trouble getting there from the car

No-one on site overnight, when we thought we were booking a b+b in someone's home rather than a house with rooms let out.

My wife and I are not really big on the B&B experience as we are more to ourselves but we have been delving a bit more into that vacation model as we started seeing the variety of the facilities available compared to standard blah hotels. The facility was what I expected, an older carriage house building that has a lot of character. The best part of the experience was the owner Joe (one half of the ownership along with his wife Jodie - we did not meet her). Joe is new to the whole owning a B&B, AirBNB facility but he was great and full of information. He had the laid back gift of gab that puts people at ease and he is fully invested in the community. The location is directly outside the main gate of Keene State College. In any case, he exceeded our expectations. There is a standard continental breakfast that is just right for the type of place. The location of the facility is directly off Main St but somehow seems removed from the busy road located only about 200 ft away. So every time we have a great B&B experience it builds up our desire to keep doing it. A short walk up the road takes you into the central part of the city with the breweries, restaurants and theaters.

The only suggestion I would make is to add small TVs to the rooms as I am a news junkie and like to turn on the local scene as soon as I wake up. Of course the lack of TVs may be to keep the noise level low as the walls in places that are this old are always thin and noise carries.

The breakfast was wonderful!!! It wasn't just your packaged pastries. They provided a variety of options from healthy bread, fresh fruit, to delicious guilty pleasures of nutella, and chocolate pastries. They had over 5 options of milk and non dairy creamers for their delicious coffee. The eating space was elegant and cozy located in a room with beautiful large windows.

I have no complaints, except I wish we could have stayed longer.

The breakfast in the morning was lovely. Our host made us a yummy spread of delicious, healthy options to help us get our day started. We also got to chat with the host more as well as meet the other guests who were staying at the inn. There is nothing like sharing stories over breakfast. The location was perfect, right in downtown Keene. You could literally walk downtown to get to everything (bars, shops, restaurants, etc.) It was also quite close to Mount Monadnock where we hiked the next day!

It felt a little dusty in the room, my allergies were acting up a bit.

it was quiet with space to sit and read in common areas.
