Our short stay was memorable due to the exceptional staff and decorations. Despite being a last-minute booking, the staff was incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to assist us. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with amenities. Conveniently located next to the lobby was a coffee shop that made our morning even more enjoyable.
Perhaps what caught our attention was the parking situation. The parking was located on a separate building adjacent to the hotel, and the loading and unloading process was not particularly convenient, especially for parents with young children.

an exceptional property in so many regards. A truly historic building, with fascinating architecture and design, we were given a simply huge room/suite (bedroom and sitting room). The decor was stunning, the Poindexter coffee shop was fabulous, and the hotel is central. We couldn't recommend this property more!
Although it wasn't a major concern for us, the building was being switched from ac to heating on the occasion of our visit. Small heaters were provided, and we accepted the fact that historic buildings behave like historic buildings; they have their wrinkles! That being said, some forewarning would have been welcome, as would a small gesture in acknowledgement of the inconvenience (reduced rate parking, perhaps, or complimentary breakfast/coffee in Poindexters).

An old historic building that looks great and has kept its antique look and feel. Spacious room with two large beds allowing the kids to sleep comfortably. The sofa and room amenities were good. The noise was kept out from the street by good insulated windows. Complementary water is provided. The water pot for making coffee is cute. Room furniture is good. Although there is no food served in the hotel you are provided with a list of several establishments that serve breakfast, lunch and dinner. We tried a few and they are good. There is also a Nero Coffee next door if you want something different. The bus stop is across the road and we used to take a daytrip to New Port and back. Also used the Bus to go across town to the University area. There is a nice Mall 5 min walk from the hotel. No laundry service in the hotel but a laundromat is a 10 min walk with drop off, wash and fold options. Lookout for the "Superman Building" across the street
I prefer hard mattresses and thin pillows, so sleeping was not so comfortable in soft mattress that sinks. I also slept without pillow. The fresh Air/Air-conditioning is very loud, but as the reception told us, if its too cold or noisy just switch it off, and that works. Old bathroom, but it is a historic building so I was not expecting modern fixtures. Instant coffee was not great.

The Graduate is in the original Biltmore hotel building in downtown Providence. It's in a great location that's very close to local attractions, such as the Providence Performing Arts Center and the Providence Place Mall. The room was well appointed and the bed was very comfortable. The HVAC worked well to keep the room comfortably cool.
The cafe left a little to be desired, serving pre-packaged muffins and croissants that could have been from Costco. The prices were steep for what we got and I recommend walking a block to either Dunkin' or Caffe Nero, depending on your preference.

Loved the vibe and staff were great. Our rooms in particular were very large for the price and had amazing views.
Not a single drink vending machine on any floor worked properly and wouldn't even return money inserted. Stairway was dirty and we needed to use it to go to another floor for the ice machine a couple of times, as ice machines are only on every other floor. Elevators were small and very slow, but as it is a historical hotel that wasn't unexpected for us, but that may be an issue for others if you are ever in a rush to get in and out and are on a higher floor at a busy time of day.

The rooms themselves were very comfortable, spacious and cute. Traveling with friends the number or mirrors was great. The bathroom lighting was lacking and hard to see yourself getting ready.
Coming and going was a bit disappointing with help with bags. We had a number of bags and when we arrived the bellman was going off duty and didn't help us get into the building or up to our room. We arrived about 5/530. The next day we stored our bags for the day, again putting the bags in the storage room we helped with and then also helped get them from the storage room as the bellman sat there. When we left they again didn't help open doors and one of the automatic doors was blocked and not working. Not a huge issue, but disappointing for the price you pay for a room to stay here.

This is a beautiful hotel at a perfect spot in Providence, itself a really nice city worthy of visiting. We had a nice stay, the rooms were clean and spacious.
We have reserved 2 rooms, each for 5 people and it was clearly stated on our booking that each room is reserved for 5 people. When we arrived, each room only have two king-sized beds, and we had to ask for roll-in beds, which were charged on the rooms, each for only one night of three, but still it was an unpleasant surprise. The cafe downstairs is extremely slow.

Loved the interior design in the rooms-- from the layout, choice of wall finishes and the details in the choice of furniture and accessories in decor. It makes for a fun modern vintage experience within this historic hotel. The location was perfect walking distance to the historic areas of Providence. Just FYI, there is no a/c which was okay for us as we were visiting in the spring, but likely would be an issue in the summer months (?). Bed and pillows are especially comfortable which is a big plus for me for a restful sleep.

We had a lovely size room in a remarkable hotel, with a small, comfortable lounge space and plenty of space for the three of us. The bathroom was a reasonable size although considering the size of the rest of our room it felt slightly small... but was more than adequate. The hotel felt like it was in the centre of the city and was well located for all that we needed, the lobby is clearly a bit of a gem and we ventured up to the top floor to have a look at the incredible ballroom and see the spectacular views from the top floor. The car park was just behind the hotel and very easy to get to and from.
The double beds felt a little narrow, but we had two of them in our room for three and they were very comfortable.

Every time I'm in Providence, I have to stay here. My daughter is going to go to one of the universities and we both love staying here
Of the many times I've stayed here. This is the first time I had a problem with this hotel We were placed in a room that wasn't clean and that is odd. But they moved us and then we had a problem with staff bringing stuff that we requested to our room it took almost a whole entire day and multiple calls to get it. I wish what was promised to us was actually given to us, but we never received anything from the hotel my favorite hotel in Providence.
