Great location very close to the castle and Charles Bridge. Comfortable beds. Excellent breakfast. Room was spacious. Even though the hotel is on the corner of two busy streets, we didn’t hear any noise. Avoid the mini markets, there is a Žabka nearby for water and groceries.

Bath tub may be hard to get in and out for some. There is no shower curtain, and it is impossible not to get the floor wet no matter how you strategize the process. Air conditioning does not work, so ask for an electric heater if it gets cold. You can feel the floor tremble when a tram passes by. A kettle would have been great, too.

An absolutely lovely little hotel. Its quirky style has a great feel to it and the location is simply amazing - right under the castle and a short walk from the Charles' bridge. And for everything else, there's a tram stop next to the hotel. The bed was comfortable and the breakfast satisfactory.

A staff member didn't speak English very well but she called a colleague and we communicated everything well. There's not a lot of contact with the staff which is also not particularly friendly, but maybe I actually prefer this to the fake smiles and over-the-topness you get in some hotels. The restaurant is open to the general public and could be described as a tourist trap, as well as the scammy ATM next to the reception. But hey, no one is forcing you to use either and there are many great food options close by.

The location is great for exploring Prague Old and Lesser Town and the exterior of the hotel is beautiful and reminds me a of a Wes Anderson film. I also loved all the decoration inside the breakfast room with portraits and newspapers of famous Czech people. The buffet breakfast is great with a good selection of bread, cakes and cold meats. They will also cook you eggs in the morning. The room was cosy and clean and no noise from outside or other guests.

If you are looking for the perfect place to stay, it's here. This hotel breathes calmness and uniqueness. The location is amazing, the views and the style of the hotel are stunning. The staff at the hotel were all superb, the hotel is so clean throughout and the rooms are beautiful with super comfy beds and air-conditioning. We had breakfast, it's so nicely presented, the food in the restaurant during the day and evening is also lovely.

The overall stay was great except from a few minor issues. The place is super close to all the important places that anyone would want to visit. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. Their breakfast selection is also pretty great. Overall a great stay.

The shower curtain was short so while showering water would flood the entire washroom. AC had to be restarted every time by calling the reception, otherwise it wouldn't turn on. The room lacked toiletries except body wash.

Some would say it looks old but I like its character. The room is large and super happy with the bath. The bed is good, the sound isolation works and is necessarily in this part of the town. Very well located re: public transport, walking distance from the Charles Bridge and Castle and the parcs. After sometime the place feels like home with the kind personnel.

The location is one of the most busiest part of the old center so expect many sirenes from police cars passing by.

location was great and the staff were all helpful and friendly! The meal at the restaurant was excellent and again, because I had worried about a place to eat after a concert at the Rudolfinium, the owner said to come back and he'd wait to close.

the parking is a walk away...nice on a day like we had,but in bad weather you could see how that would not be ideal! no tea or coffee or water in the room!

Location was very good. Easy route to airport and very near the Chares bridge and near the castle. Staff were very nice. They gave us really nice room. Room was very big with comfortable beds. Room has wonderful view to the cathedral. Heating radiator worked very well and the air heater was also excellent. Breakfast was the best!!! Super delicious. I will visit again if I fly to Prague.

Nice features: the desk and the wardrobe of real wood, a beautiful vintage green "library" lamp (I should buy one of those for my home!), a quite comfortable bed, a possibility to enjoy a hot tub after the day of walking. Breakfast was okay, there were enough options. Obviously, it's a great and the most convenient location. Also kudos for a very unexpected view of the church from the bathroom window, some details were not visible from the street :)

The bathtub was not cleaned thoroughly, I had to re-clean the corners myself. Otherwise it would be 10. Climbing to the 3rd floor was sometimes hard (though I knew there would be no elevator and even appreciated the exercise).

U Schnellu is the perfect place from which to explore Praha by foot, tram or metro. It's close to the castle and Charles bridge. The room was a good size, really comfortable and cleaned daily to a high standard. The staff were friendly and helpful and the buffet breakfast was great! A good choice of foods meant that there was something for everyone and plenty of it. We had a great time and if ever we're back in Prague would stay again.

Nothing. For us it was great, but for those who have limited mobility you have to be aware that there is no lift so you do need to be able to use the stairs.
