Wonderful location as it is just opposite the station and very close to supermarket, cafes, etc. The staff were courteous, very helpful and pleasant. The bed was more comfortable than the one I have at home. Plus the place was very clean and tidy.

I am a very cold sleeper and ended up doubling the doona on the bed and sleeping in my cardigan and coat the first few nights. Later on, I saw a staff member and asked for a blanket which I doubled up on the bed and was right after that.

This place is excellently refurbished and represented great value. The hotel is spotlessly clean, and the location is absolutely ideal for anyone visiting Orange. The staff were friendly, helpful, attentive and could not have done more to make our stay an absolute pleasure. They assisted with valuable local knowledge about eateries and other info. Highly recommended.

The rooms have a large TV, comfortable bed, individual air conditioning and a bar fridge, but would benefit from a few hooks to hang towels and clothes on.

The staff were very friendly and willing to assist at every point, the facilities were clean and well maintained. The room was basic to be expected with this type of accommodation, but contained a fridge, comfy double bed, good sized TV and free WiFi. The bathroom was very modern and clean and the kitchen was well equipped (Plates, Cups etc. Microwave, Air Fryer, Kettle, free coffee and tea. If you are looking for budget accommodation in Orange, then this is the place.

The only thing missing was a small desk for the workers, but the bedside table served fine.

I booked a room to stay over night in Oragne, with late check-in (10pm). Bec from the hotel kindly sent a clear instruction how to check in after hours, and it went very well. It was a room with shared bathroom. The room was very clean with fresh towels and linens. The bed was comfy too. The shared bathrooms and kitchens were very clean and tidy with all the basics.

I didn't expect much for a budget room, so no complains.

It was a convenient location in the centre of Orange, everything was easy to get to on foot. The gateway to Bathurst is only a 45 minute drive so it made things easy to get to and from Bathurst on the one road for the Repco Supercars Bathurst 1000. The restaurant downstairs is amazing and has a wide variety of great tasting food and drinks, nothing like coming back to the GWH for a cold beer after watching cars belt around Mountain Panorama. Beautiful venue with clean rooms, super soft beds, nice view of the train station and good bathrooms and kitchen. Will definitely stay again.

Not a wheelchair accessible hotel, had a lot of stairs when going to reception and the outside stairs to the rooms too from what I saw, so ask ahead if they are options to work around it 🙂

The location was very central and within a walk of many places of interest in Orange. The price was very modest, but the accommodation was the best pub stay I have been in and at the cheapest price. Therefore it exceeded our expectations. I also would like to mention the staff, as the woman on duty as extremely friendly and exceptionally helpful.

I have no complaints.

We had a brand new refurbished room so the it was all lovely and fresh. New TV, new beds, fridge and furniture. Staff were so accommodating. Close to all facilities and could eat downstairs. Location excellent, noise was minimal. Nice and warm at night.

It was not quite ready when we got there but we didn't have to wait long. We would have liked more powerpoints as there was one for the fridge and only one other. There was no bin in the room. It was close to the ladies bathroom but far from the Men's.

Very cute, warm , cosy little room in interesting old rambling building. The bed was so comfortable, the room was small but set out very thoughtfully. Full size flat screen tv and reverse cycle aircon. Good sized window that you could open. Quiet even though it was a full house on a Friday night. Staff were lovely.

Nothing , everything was perfect.

Very central. Clean. Good value. Clean well equipped communal kitchen and clean and well maintained toilet and shower facilities.

Perhaps the rooms could just do with some hooks etc on the walls on which to hang up coats, jackets, scarves or towels etc. Otherwise a good inexpensive place to stay the night in Orange.

Mel was an absolute gem, very helpful. Even though the hotel is on a main road it was so quiet in our room. The showers were nice and hot just no bench space in shower cubicle

Our double bed sagged in the middle.
