The room complex presented itself admirably. All sectors were spotless and the colours chosen for the rooms was pleasing. An interesting modern artwork was hung in the main area. The main room provided plenty of space and I appreciated the cabinet with a benchtop for placing travel bags. I especially cherished the lounge chair. The bed was very well presented, with 5 pillows and was comfortable and warm. The kitchenette was easy to access and use. The bathroom was ample in all departments featuring good colour choices and tiling patterns. The hot water for the shower did not disappoint. The choice of clean white towels neatly presented added to the professional service for the stay. The room heating was more than sufficient.

The occasional noisy four wheel or truck noise at night was a minor hindrance but greatest aggravation was the incoming traffic noise for Orange from 5.00 a.m. in the morning especially from four wheel drive utilities, vehicles or SUVs. Cars made no noticeable noise. The down light at the bed near the window was providing very little illumination but this was hardly a concern. I advised the reception that this was not functioning in the morning. I would recommend a reading light or better illumination near the lounge chair for reading purposes.

I really liked that fact that there were reception staff on duty 7am to 7pm. I needed to extend my stay twice and the staff could not have been more kind or helpful. I had an issue with the fridge not working and this was addressed and fixed immediately. The shower was fabulous, great pressure and steaming hot water. My room was serviced daily, this was a surprise and much appreciated. There is a microwave in the room but no plates or utensils. When I asked reception about this they said plastic plate and utensils are available on request. The room was not luxurious, but it was clean, quiet and the bed was comfortable. I consider this accommodation good value for the price.

The parking lot was always full at around 6pm as there was a martial arts class running onsite at that time, thus it was challenging to find a car park at times. In my opinion onsite parking should be for hotel guests. I didn’t think it would matter, but not having a toaster in the room was actually quite inconvenient.

Very happy with West End Motel. I stayed for two nights while on a golf trip. The room was bigger than expected and very clean and functional. Excellent bed with plenty of linen for the cold nights. Lots of power points for recharging etc. Excellent aircon, which was quiet and kept me nice and warm. Pool looked good but didn't use it. Great location moments from the golf course and the centre of town. No complaints at all.

There is a car park reconstruction underway which didn't bother me but which would be annoying for guests spending more time at the motel during the day. I was slightly surprised that management hadn't let me know about the work in advance, as a courtesy.

We stayed at the house that's available through the motor lodge. It was a fair distance to the main street, but walking distance to the Robin Hood Hotel which we ate at and a very nice establishment. House had ample room for 6 people. Clean and check in was easy

Minor, but the front room has the street light that streams in at night through the side of the blinds. The house is close to the corner of the main road, so there was a bit of road noise for the two bedrooms out the front.

Everything!!! It is such a pleasure to stay in a motel that is very clean and, comfortable. The room we stayed in has been recently renovated and it is beautiful. We have stayed here many times and some of the rooms were getting a bit old and drab but the rooms have always been very clean and comfortable.

The one thing I could say I didn't like is the shower head. It is really big and if you do not want to wash your hair you have to stand out a bit from it to wash yourself. It does look nice thou.

Bed was comfortable. Room was spacious and it had everything we needed. It's convenient, clean and good value. We arrived late and they called us, left the keys for us and had everything ready. We did the Orange Villages Bicycle Trail and they allowed us to leave the car parked there during our trip. Not the most romantic place... :P but I would repeat and would recommend. Definitely better than any air bnb.

Easy check in and check out process. I arrived late at night and friendly receptionist gave me a call 2 hours before the reception closed to confirm my booking. This has ensured I had an efficient check in process. Room was clean and comfortable with all basic amenities available.

Nothing really. Parking lot was full (I checked non at 8pm on Thurs night), I was fortunate to have the last parking spot.

It wasn’t in the centre of town, but on the outskirts closer for us to access out to Forbes Road.

All motels we’ve stay at over the last 5 years; various levels & chains, have toilet brushes., but this was missing. I mentioned to the extremely professional, helpful & friendly receptionist- Colleen, who advised me the Manager advised it was not allowed. I would suggest some networking with other motels in the surrounding area of Orange, 4 of which I can assure them DEFINITELY do have.

We were in a newly renovated room so it was lovely knowing we were the first people to sleep there.

There was no toilet brush and when I asked for one, thinking it was an oversight that there wasn’t one there, I was told it was policy now not to put toilet brushes in the rooms. I thought this was awful. And the cleaner didn’t clean the toilet the morning of our second nights stay.

For the price I paid it was great value for money It had everything I needed for a comfortable stay There were lots of pillows and the bed was very comfortable I liked that they use a good brand of tea, coffee and biscuits

I suffer from allergies to strong scents and the room or carpet had been sprayed with deodorizer
