We had the loveliest stay right from the time we arrived. Our room was beautifully warm and cosy, as it’s such a cold time of year we found that a great start to our stay. Also a little welcome bag from reception and the chocolates on the bed a nice little touch. We joined in the Christmas in July function on the Friday night which was awesome and a lot of fun.🔥🍷🎄🎅🏼 It was so impressive to see the owner join his staff working and mingling amongst us serving drinks and food. His repore with his staff was lovely to see.

The only thing I would suggest would be a good coffee machine at breakfast but apart from that the breakfast was delicious.

The Oriana is fabulous, we loved our stay. The decor is beautiful in the Bar and Peacock restaurant, with various coloured glass vessels holding candles. Restaurant dinner faultless service and fine dining. Our king suite was sunny, light filled and had an Africa theme, retro posters, comfy armchairs, lovely mohair blankets for cosy sitting, luxurious bed, soft bathrobes, a heater in the bathroom, a free drink in the cocktail area (choice of organic regional wines or spirits). Our suite opened onto a large patio, very inviting with the afternoon sun & autumn leafy outlook. There was even a yoga mat provided and extra towels for the sauna (we didn't use the sauna, a bit chilly to walk over to it in the pool area)

At first I was concerned about the traffic on Woodward St (major through road), but it went quiet in the evening. I was keen to use the sauna having seen it listed in the facilities, but I was disappointed it was only operating from 5 pm, it was dark & cold by then this time of year, & the walk over to it was off putting. I wished it was available earlier, say from 3 pm. We didn't use it for this reason.

The room was very quiet and comfortable. I particularly like the chair outside my room which was a great place to relax. Also the pool area was lovely. The staff were all very pleasant and obliging.

Every day, the cleaners left all the lights in the room on. The main light, the 2 bedside lights and the bathroom light. They also left the aircon on the the TV on. What a stupid waste on energy. I ate in the restaurant one night but the main I had (the duck) was not great. Perhaps I made a bad choice. The desert was amazing!

Our room had been tastefully refurbished. The comfortable bed was much appreciated and had European pillows. A welcome bag is provided on arrival with a voucher for a complimentary drink, information and cookies. There is a fruit basket in the room and bottled drinking water is each day. Bathroom refurbished with fabulous black and white tiles, great shower. Pool fabulous, towels available. Great bar service, two fabulous outdoor areas for drinks and food, terrific outdoor kitchen. $20 Breakfast available, continental and cooked. Staff very friendly. Gardens and surrounds very appealing.

The room was very big. Perfectly clean. It had everything you need including free snacks, bottled water, bathrobe, multiple towels, slippers... breakfast was very good, well worth the extra $20 (not included). Restaurant was ok and the pool club was exactly what we needed after doing the Orange Villages Bicycle Trail in the middle of the summer. The mango daiquiri slushies at the pool were one of the highlights of the trip, even though they weren't cheap, but totally worth it. The motel-style was good for us with the bicycles and all because we could park right at the door.

The staff were incredible! It was raining when I arrived so having someone meet me with an umbrella to see me to reception was very appreciated. The room was spacious and had all necessary amenities, staff also give you an option of which milk you would like if you need it. The restaurant on site serving breakfast, lunch and dinner was convenient. Everything was tidy and the complimentary umbrella in the room was very appreciated given the weather during my stay. All your comforts have been considered and I would absolutely recommend to anyone looking to holiday in Orange.

Some of the parking spaces would be a tight squeeze at maximum capacity. The bathroom in particular is a little dated but still does the job.

We stayed in an upper-level room that opened to a large terrace with comfortable outdoor seating. The room was very nicely decorated with prints with an African theme. Our first night we had a delicious pizza and drinks in the garden bar and met one of the owners who was very friendly and informative. The king-size bed was extremely comfortable and the towels were super high quality. Our room was way above our expectations. The "Peacock" dining room served gourmet food and the decor is stylish and with interesting historical photos.

Nothing to dislike. I am sure we will stay here the next time we visit Orange.

My stay at the Oriana was nothing short of exceptional. It is clear that the Oriana team understand hospitality and service so well. Upon booking, I received a follow up phone call to confirm, where I was able to request an early check-in, due to me needing to be in attendance at an event shortly after the usual 2pm check-in time. The team were more than happy to facilitate this. Upon arrival, I was greeted by Meg, who was warm, friendly, helpful and efficient. I had received a complimentary room upgrade that was thoughtfully located with incredibly easy access in and out of the property, which suited my needs perfectly. I was gifted with a welcome pack containing snacks and offered a complimentary beverage. Parking and room access was easy and straightforward. My room was so beautifully and thoughtfully appointed, complete with soft lighting and soft jazz music playing! Thoughtful and generous snack and mini bar inclusions, along with toiletries. The bed was incredibly comfortable, all the amenities were in excellent condition and the breakfast the next morning was delicious and exceptional value! I wouldn't hesitate to stay at The Oriana again, it really was brilliant from start to finish.

There wasn't anything to not like! Everything had been thought of, down to very small details.

The decor is great - I loved that the room was warm and music was playing on entry - very inviting. The check in/breakfast area looked so cool and the staff member who checked us in was just lovely. And free wine on arrival - amazing! We had dinner in the supper club the first night and the furnishings and lighting gave the space such an amazing vibe. What an amazing refurb on an older style motel. Can't imagine I'd ever stay anywhere else in Orange ever again!

We found the doona too hot and this impacted our sleep. It would have been great to have a lighter weight option or a full size blanket to use instead.

We came to Oranage as a group for the weekend and had a function in the garden after a long lunch on Saturday. The cocktails were the quickest I have ever experiences ANYWHERE. the rooms amazingly comfy, beautiful decorations and lovely equipped bathroom. The seating area in my room was greatly appreicated as I needed to organise a lot of additional extras for the day. The staff were a dleight - from front desk, the the bar staff. The nibbles we ordered for our function were superbe, presentation fabulous and just an all round delightful place

There was nothing to not like - this hotel is great service, great location and fabulous bars and restaurants. This si a trick question because it cannot be answered as we liked everything
