The hotel room nice size for 3 people. Secure enclosed for the rooms. Secure parking area all night The Pub was Great with everything for a family children games outside 4 different siting areas, nice wood fire. All meals excellent and affordable Great atmosphere and entertainment. Good location closer to town and activities. Close laundry and an excellent Chinese restaurant, all fresh meals cook at the moment. Great staff. Will be back here

The room number 3, needs a change of floor carpet And Attention to the ceiling bathroom. People are not using the fan during showers time. Inside of the shower cubic needs some restoration.. Would be nice a microwave on the rooms. Not Always have time to eat at the restaurant.

The Ophir was a one night stop over on a longer trip for us. The rooms were well prepped, spacious, lots of powerpoints etc for various devices that need charging. Car parks close by and a covered area, so quick dry transfers of luggage can be managed (appreciated as it was raining for us). Plant growth along the fence keeps things private in the morning. Convenient to nearby facilities for food, but we are at the hotel and had a very enjoyable meal. Had plates and cutlery etc for breakfasts if you needed (we didn't, but nice to know they were there). Long bench space to eat at if you did need that though. The usual hotel kettle, toaster etc were there too. Cupboard with ironing equipment, too. Situated around the back side of the hotel, so not directly exposed to through traffic noise at night. Staff we interacted with were all very helpful and friendly.

Nothing - was exactly what we needed on our trip. If I was camping here for a week with family it would be a little cosy and could use a table inside, but for a night or two as a stopover they were excellent.

Great value for money. Decent location and it had everything that we needed for a solid overnight stay. The staff were kind too and were helpful.

Your sleep may be affected by the other guests. There were noisy people outside at 1am, talking and smoking outside our rooms and you could hear everything. We politely told them to go inside their rooms and they were kind enough to do that. I don't know if every guest would be that considerate.

The revamped pub was beautiful and the food was incredible! Such a great variety of Gluten Free options too, which was great for the two coeliacs in the family. Room was clean and tidy, offered all that we needed for one night.

The tiles in the shower had been painted, and all of the paint was peeling off. Not a massive issue, just made the space look a little run down. However, it was exceptionally clean.

Location was right next door to the bar and restaurant. Across the road is the laundromat, lovely Chinese takeaway and Indian takeaway.

Key didn't work. Had to get it replaced once they'd reopened. A bit of mould on the ceiling. Carpark was always taken. No sign to advise if it is for the motel guests or bar attendees.

Good car park with security. Friendly staff. Great location in terms of close to food/bar.

Water pressure changed moderately while multiple people were having showers at the same time. The air was somehow stale when I first stepped into the room, but ventilation was good once I kept the windows open. Easy to hear noise from the next room. No microwave.

Rooms where very large there was only 4 rooms at the hotel. Meals where good So over all a great nights stay Would I stay here again without a doubt

The bathroom in room 3 had a lot of mould on the ceiling in the bathroom Scary stuff. And the hot water tap in shower needs some minor repairs Otherwise a great place to stay

The design was extremely nice, and the price is well good bargain. There is an arcon to help regulate the temperature from cold to warm as well as it was peaceful and quiet.

In the shower, there were odd tiles and some of the paint is coming off, but other then that everything was perfect

I enjoyed the convenient location and thought the price made for good value. I ate in the hotel dining room on the two occasions I stayed at the Ophir, and enjoyed the experience, and again thought I got value for money. The room was clean and although the hotel was busy, it was not noisy.

The hotel met my expectations.

Hotel was fantastic, the new owners have done a wonderful job in upgrading the hotel and the motels.

It would be good if the door on the motel could have draft foam around the main door. It was 1 degree and the wind howls through the front door each side and the gap at the bottom. Would be good for a tea towel to dry dishes rather than a box tissues. The only thing missing from the kitchen would be a microwave for left overs from hotel food.
