I had a fantastic stay at Mercure Orange! The location is super convenient, right in the heart of town, with cafes, restaurants, and shops just a short walk away. The room was clean, modern, and really comfortable—great attention to detail with everything you’d expect for a relaxing stay. The staff were warm and welcoming, always happy to help with a smile. I especially appreciated how smooth the check-in and check-out process was. The on-site facilities were also a bonus, including the restaurant and bar, which made dining easy after a long day. Highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Orange—whether it’s for business or leisure. I’ll definitely be back!

The location was very central and close to where I had a medical appointment on the following morning. I was able to find the hotel easily even though it is also known under the name Templers Mill. Overall I was happy with my stay and will stay again.

I've stayed in another place in Orange which was average but good value for money. Mercure are known for some luxury in their accommodation and I am challenged to see the value when it is only a little better than average. There was an expectation of a slightly higher quality and feel compared with other Mercure hotels I've stayed in and where they do have an elevated quality feel about. I was not disappointed but to be honest I expected a little better, and I thought the rooms could be more spacious. But this may just be my "Mercure" expectations. I would still consider staying again.

All was good, location, rooms etc. Staff were very nice.

The entry to the club for breakfast, no signage, didn't know which button to press for entry as not signed and didn't know that staff had to come from inside to let you in. Staff at the Motel should be advised to explain to hotel patrons the procedure for getting into the club, but they didn't know how to get in either, they just said go to the back entrance to the club. More communication needs to be available as I wasn't the only person a bit lost for entry to the club.

The bed was super comfortable and the room was comfortable. The shower water did not drain quickly and overflowed over the drain and onto the floor near the toilet area! A design problem One of the important points was the access to ev chargers thank you

There were no usb charge points which is important in this day and age! Also the internet access was very slow and hard to access

The location was really good. Handy to have the club across the carpark. Also the UB restaurant very close and excellent. Gave a $20 discount for the club, as we didn’t have our room serviced daily. Great toiletries and espresso coffee pod machine.

You could not open the curtains, in the front the carpark, on the side you look straight into the next room, so found that very disappointing. Also found a v sweaty sock left from the previous occupant, in the bottom of the wardrobe. It could easily have been overlooked as right at the back but…..the smell you couldn’t overlook! 😊

Great location in the centre of Orange, room was very clean, the beds were comfy & the pillows were great. The bathroom was very clean. Highly recommend

The water from the shower went all over the floor, around the toilet as there was no door. The bottom sheet on the bed hadn't been pulled down & tucked in, so was rough on feet, I had to pull the top bed clothes down & straighten the sheet

Clean comfortable bed, good storage, good stocked fridge. At the back of the RSL, convenient access to the club. close to all shops. good parking available. Jen in the office was lovely and we got in earlier than expected. Even though rooms are close together, it was quiet. Have stayed here a couple of times and would stay again. Plenty of space to store luggage, full size ironing board, nice toiletry products.

The toilet seat didnt fit the toilet properly and it slips around when you sit on it. Also the shower is right on top of the toilet and everything gets soaked because the shower has no door. not a big deal though.

Room was cosy and even on cold nights we didn’t need the heater. It had everything we needed.The shower was great. The bed was warm and comfortable, The ex-services club connected to the hotel was so convenient and affordable for breakfast and dinner. It was perfect and we would definitely recommend it.

We can't complain about the room it was nice and clean Just the air conditioner was the problem. We will be staying there again on the 25th of June for Dr Appt and have ask for a room with a split system instead of the old solid one in the wall

The air conditioner was in a place that the fan was blowing over the bed and onto your face so we ended up turning it off so we could get some sleep and then we were cold

The rooms were clean and spacious enough. The beds were comfortable and warm. The location was very central, walking distance to the town centre. There was plenty of parking. Nice to be able to make a coffee in the room too. The bath towels were a good size which was a pleasant surprise.
